The
stories of many explorers abound,
That
remnants of Noah’s Ark have been found.
With
each ‘discovery’, the ole notion is revived,
That
for millennia, pitch covered wood
could survive!
Ditto
for the Ark of the Covenant,
Though
its ole stories may be more dormant.
While
I certainly do believe in miracles,
I
don’t embrace the notion of... ‘ark
disciples’.
Across
the ages of time, Noah’s Ark experience,
Still
speaks with a voice that’s strong and full of significance.
The
clear message that to us it reverberates,
Is
one that our attention it necessitates.
The
message is, ‘There was only one door to the Ark!’
Only
one way in, that was open when it was parked.
But
once the rains came, and that huge boat began to float,
Nothing
could keep water from peoples’ noses and throats!
The
‘one door’ notion was meant to
signify,
And
of God’s salvation plan to testify,
That
there still remains only one way,
To
avoid missing the boat today.
Over
decades of Noah’s Ark construction,
People
were warned of God’s coming destruction.
The
message was ignored then, as it’s ignored today.
The
door was closed then, as it’ll again be closed... someday.
His
‘Door’ today is Jesus, whose birth Christmas celebrates.
Saving
Grace is in Him alone, as His Word stipulates.
Yes,
God is Love, and because He is, His message is blatant:
The
flood was just a ‘dry run’ for the
coming, bigger judgment.
Of
a global flood, science now has lots of evidence—
Earth
strata, and high-altitude sea fossils occurrence.
That
a flood occurred, science is no longer obtuse.
But
on the ‘why’ of it all, science is of
no use!
From
the start, there’s been one thing on
God’s mind—
The
salvation of His beloved mankind.
His
Love and Word speak this clear message in so many voices.
But...
The
Ark’s voice is more resounding than
many other choices.
