The Bible comprises 66 'books' written under the careful inspiration of The Holy Spirit to ensure it represents the perspectives of The Lord God, Jesus Christ. That makes it essentially 'The Mind of Christ' from which we derive not only informative insights, but also inspiration, intuition, influences, impulses and instincts (whew, what a list!) ...to be successful in our Christian walk in this life.
A big part of the Old Testament comprises song lyrics that not only praise to The Lord, but that also complain about many things in life, including complaints about The Lord's dealings with mankind! Imagine that. Much of the New Testament comprises letters written by first AD century believers who were influential in seeding and growing a new institution on Earth that The Lord calls, 'My Church'.
Imagine decisions choices The Lord must have made concerning which of the many song lyrics, letters and many other types of writing He would carefully preserve for countless generations so they would be pivotal resources for us today! Moreover, imagine similar decisions He is making now, in our day concerning which of the vast amounts of basic-to-complex Christian resources He is preserving for future generations, including the generation that will experience part of all of the tribulation age! wOw! By His Grace, may He count some of my writings (poems, prose, lyrics) and songs to be so preserved as spiritual aids to some future souls.
Perhaps you might agree there's something special and unique about published letters that might attract readers' eyes. Maybe it is the connotation of reading a rather personal communiqué. Here are some letters The Lord impressed and inspired me to write, by faith. One day in eternity, I will discover whether, and how He may have used them to influence somebody's life for good. May He inspire me to write more such letters. Enjoy~Click on the links to access posts in this series.
