Hacked, Hijacked or Hack-Proofed? (Poem)

Faith is the substance of things for which we yet hope,

Evidence of things that our eyes have yet to scope.

But can you earnestly hope for anything,

That you are not vividly imagining?

Persistent and vivid imagination,

Places hope securely in incubation.

From hope that’s incubated, voiced, and acted upon,

Will spring ‘substance’ that into your world will be drawn.

Hope requires a disciplined imagination,

To help ensure your hope’s ‘substance incarnations’.

An imagination that’s undisciplined and ‘leaks’,

May be a major factor that makes your faith so weak.

Imagination -- one of five functions of your soul.

We may all be somewhat blind to its critical role.

It inspires the mind, will, intellect and emotions.

Together, these five comprise your ‘soulish functions’.

God knows how easily imaginations can be hacked.

Hacked imaginations got the ancient world ‘water whacked’!

So...

About our imagination, He is keenly concerned.

Because of sin, imagination hacks go undiscerned.

Once the hack is successful, then the ‘hijack ride’ begins,

And stuff we say and do on this ride, God labels as ‘sins’.

So He fashioned for us His will in a Book, not on slate.

It is full of words that, into pictures, we can translate.

Then we’re to use imagination to ‘see’ and distill,

Ways to ‘hack proof’ our imagination and our free will.

We learn evil imaginations are more than what we think.

They’re word pictures that, at God’s promises,

make us blink and wink.

But in all of this, God has encountered a real problem!

We are much more concerned with hacks

of our worldly systems --

Financial, political, and those infrastructural.

But we turn our heads and >>YAWN<<

at ‘systems spiritual’.

Our spiritual system’s core part,

Is the link between our mind and heart.

To give us access to His ‘strong hack-proof protection’,

God’s Book reveals this link is your imagination! *

On that which we give away,

we retain a much stronger grip.

So teach someone, some way, something

about faith, so yours won’t slip.

We ‘practice’ faith. Doctors ‘practice’ medicine.

Practicing faith... hack-proofs imagination.

Keep practicing,

and leave all results …to God.
