Heaven's Animating Holy Scripts (Poem)

Onto the blank canvass of universal darkness,

Jesus, a Man, stepped out from Heaven, and then He spoke.

Within Him was, and still remains, The Godhead’s FULLNESS. ¹

As He spoke, Their design for the universe …uncloaked.

Into perpetual motion, He then ordered it to spin.

He began to animate the script of life that He wrote,

Knowing full well it was written that all would be stained with sin.

Thus, worlds and life were framed, with man as creation’s …endnote.

To us, time is marked by rotations of Earth,

Since the start, it daily marches.

To Him Whose wisdom is of unknowable worth,

Into ‘now’, all time …collapses!

With perfect control of all design, wisdom and time,

Ponder: Why might The Godhead desire …a written script??

We use books for both information and to pass time. 

They use books for those who, with wisdom, are …‘less equipped!’

Mankind, created a little lower than The Godhead. ²

Angels, created to serve both The Godhead and mankind.

It’s for us the script of life is written, wisdom to shed,

Written so with Them, we could …spiritually align. 

Since there’s no such thing as a book without a title,

Pray-tell, what’s the title of the book The Lord produced??

He dispatched an angel to the prophet named, Daniel,

To tell us His Book is titled, The Scripture of Truth. ³

Like me, perhaps you thought His Book is called, The Bible.

It is! There are strong links between these books, presumably.

By the notion of multiple books, don’t be baffled, 

Since with books, He has a …documented proclivity! ⁴

Re. The Scripture of Truth the angel mentioned to Daniel,

This is what I see and from it intuit:

In form and structure, it’s not clearly understandable,

With such details from which we cannot profit.

So, in The Lord’s great wisdom and love for humanity,

From His Book, perhaps He selected and summarized,

Excerpts as stories we relate to intrinsically.

Voila, His ‘must-know’ Truths in The Bible …humanized.

Thank The Lord, The Scripture of Truth is up in Heaven.

With incredible details, Daniel was inundated.

Thank The Lord, The Holy Bible for Earth is fashioned.

By both scripts, we and all creation …are animated. ⁵

The most pivotal insights are about The Book of Life, in which is written the name of every person who accepts God’s offer of salvation and eternal life, including folks who, during the pre-cross ages of history, died in faith toward Him, the unseen God. Is your name written therein? See: Revelation 3:5, 20:12-15, 21:27 and 22:19. All of His books correlate with His consistent strategy and message, that Jesus is Lord over all creation, and Judge over all flesh. Any book purporting to be His, that does not resound with this core message, isn't His, period!

Tribal Conflicts (Q&A)

Q: Conflicts across our world are driven by tribalism, which people the world over have embraced as a protective and defensive survival mechanism in a world of self-interested, threatening and hostile tribes. As long as people embrace and practice tribalism, there will be no peace. Will mankind ever change? Will we ever master our human weaknesses? I believe it is possible, but it won’t be done voluntarily. There has to be some force that compels us to give priority to the greater good, or perhaps the will of God.

A: Thanks for these ‘deep’ questions and your perspective on conflicts across our world. No objective observer of history and current affairs can deny the role of tribalism in human affairs, especially in conflicts. The Bible speaks voluminously, not only on this issue, but also on The Lord’s personally proclaimed role in many forms of human conflicts as a mean to accomplish His high, strategic objectives: ¹

Thus says The Lord (Who is Jesus): “Let not the wise man glory (exhibit pride) in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am The Lord, exercising (#1) lovingkindness (merciful grace), (#2) judgment (justice), and (#3) righteousness (what He calls right) in the Earth. For in these I delight,” says The Lord. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Accordingly, He cautions us against doing what we, in our secular minds, largely do:

Woe to those who …do not regard the work of The Lord, 

nor consider the operation of His hands. (Isaiah 5:11-12)

In that regard, a brief review of His role is in order, with a focus on tribalism. After the global inundation, God Himself, at the Tower of Babel, divided our then singular language. (Genesis 11:1-9) He did this as a means to facilitate His on-going command and desire for humans to spread out and fill the Earth. (Genesis 1:22, 29, 9:28) In doing so, He created divisions that separated us by languages. As a result, people eventually segregated by cultures and sub-cultures, which you refer to as tribes, and subsequently by geography. Such divisions continued as populations grew. Economic and political cultures/sub-cultures exploded as natural resource constraints manifested within populations that grew exponentially.  Divisive, untoward spiritual forces added to this mix, and things quickly got ...ugly. 

Your answer to your questions is spot on. Human nature’s proclivity to prideful, selfishness and tribalism ensures we will not change without ‘some force that compels us to give priority to the greater good, or perhaps the will of God.’ That unseen force, my Friend, is The Hand of The Lord about which Isaiah speaks. The concept of ‘greater good’ you mention begs the question, ‘Good from whose perspective?’ Jesus, Himself, gave us the obvious answer:

“Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. (Luke 18:19)

Given human nature, we (individuals, families, tribes, societies, nations) are not inclined to concur with His views of our greater good, especially when we personally, or our group is on the short-end of His handiworks, or is being judged according to His justice criteria, not ours. Thus, the force you speak of will likely trigger …more or deeper conflicts! What a conundrum. 

This force will be sporadically manifested during the pending 7-years of global tribulation (just judgments, #2 of His strategic objectives). It will be continually manifested during the ensuing Millennial Reign of Jesus as global King. The Bible promises that, for a thousand years, He, along with His true, resurrected saints from across the ages, will exercise ‘iron rod’ authority (force), and will thus ensure (force!) righteousness (#3 of His strategic objectives) over all the Earth. During this specific time period, The Lord promises to reverse both the presence and effects of the sin curse that is upon mankind and the Earth, including His seed that triggered lingual divisiveness:

“Therefore wait for Me,” says The Lord, “Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations to My assembly of kingdoms, to pour on them My indignation, all My fierce anger; all the Earth shall be devoured with the fire of My jealousy. For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on The Name of The Lord, to serve Him with one accord. (Zephaniah 3:8-9)

The sheer extent of His promised transformations are breath-taking, and some might say unbelievable. Nevertheless, He is The Lord, through Whom The Spirit of God created ALL things (Hebrews 1:2,8, John 1:3, Ephesians 3:9), and Whom God Himself, calls ‘God’! Absolutely nothing is impossible to Him. His plans only become clear when The Bible is:

(a) read as one book with 66 chapters, written/compiled by One Mind – The Mind of Christ, rather than 66 separate books, written by mere men; and 

(b) understood with a multi-millennial, strategic mindset, not our typical religious mindsets. ²

Alas, the transformations will be time-limited. At the end of the thousand years, devils (who will have been locked away) will again be released ‘for a short time’, and mankind’s sinful nature will once again be allowed to rule the Earth until the predicted, final conflict – the second War of Gog and Magog. ³

End note: With three distinct groups of humans on Earth during the Millennial Reign (immortal saints as rulers under Christ’s authority, and 2 groups of mortal survivors of the tribulation (Gentiles across the world and Jews then in Israel, both of whom will likely repopulate Earth), and with each treated differently, I wonder whether this might be perceived as yet another basis for types of …tribalism, discrimination and apartheid? Truths, Though Inconvenient (Poem)

‘In the land, there is no Truth, mercy or knowledge of God.

By swearing, lying, killing, stealing and committing adultery,

All restraints are broken, with bloodshed upon bloodshed.

Therefore the land mourns. People and animals are wasting away.’

(Hosea 4:1-3)

Friends, does the above quote adequately capture,

Your perception of life in our world today?

On this perception do you agree and concur,

Or do you chose these words …to downplay?

This quote was penned by a writer who lived long ago,

But the words he wrote were not his own.

They’re the words of someone who was really ‘in the know’.

They came directly from The Lord’s Throne.

The quote above is His legal indictment,

Charges against ancient Israel,

Condemning their behaviors, so aberrant,

And toward Him being dismissal.

It seems over the ages of man’s development,

Not that much has changed at all from The Lord’s viewpoint.

Hey! If words He spoke then capture our predicament,

Might His response then be to us what He’ll appoint??

God backed up His Law with Revelation of Who He is.
He sent Jesus to fulfill it all, not water it down.
Thinking some of His traits, Grace successfully erases,
On some of His revelations, many of us now frown.

To Jeremiah He declared His three-point strategy,

In His dealings with all humanity. ¹

To Ezekiel, He said to those who always act sinfully,
He applies four judgment tactics selectively. ²

Though in this era of His Church,
We tend to focus only on His Grace, amazing,
And forget His aspects that hurt,
Namely judgments for un-repented sins, amassing. ³

While to saints and sinners alike, Grace He extends,
To true saints, it’s never ending, eternal.
But when we stray on a dark pathway that offends,
In Love, He sends chastisements, correctional.

But to sinners, yet un-redeemed in Christ,
It’s a completely different story!!
As to not repent for sins, they’re enticed,
In harsh judgments, their lives …become stormy.

Let’s pause and review a few hurtful Truths,

From God Almighty and His Son, Jesus.
Though inconvenient to many fake views,

Ponder: Why are these Truths revealed to us??

All souls are Mine. (Ezekiel 18:4)

The Lord kills and makes alive. (1 Samuel 2:6)

I kill and make alive; I wound and I heal. (Deuteronomy 32:39)

If there is a calamity in a land, will I not have caused it? (Amos 3:6)

I make peace and create calamity; I, The Lord, do all these things.

(Isaiah 45:7, Psalm 46:9)

Following My Millennial Reign, on Earth once again,

I’ll release satan and his crew. (Revelation 20:3, 7)

To lessen or eliminate impacts such Truths have on you,

Concern yourself with that with which He is concerned.

Get into His Bible. It’s there He will show you what to do.

As you do, what He calls, ‘righteousness’, you will learn. ⁴

Embrace His Truth, and escape the inconveniences of lies…

I Am Not Their God (Poem)

It is our ole, sinful human nature to doubt and deny,

The very essence and existence of our Creator.

But all of creation cries out and refuses to belie,

That there can be no clear design without a designer!

It is fools who says in their hearts, ‘There is no God!’

Until, that is… ‘they are in GREAT fear!’

Suddenly, these same fools, whose inner thoughts are flawed,

Begin to call for The Lord to come near. ¹ 

Imagine how often, across the ages of humankind,

This same, exact scenario has occurred,

With successive generations falling into the same bind.

Somehow, our inner vision keeps getting …blurred.

Thirteen decades after The Lord created Adam, 

A third son, named Seth, was born to him and Eve.

As the human population began to blossom,

Something happened, and people began to grieve.

Just as happened countless times in human history,

Hearts and minds across the land turned to things spiritual,

And people called on The Name of The Lord Almighty,

What happened attracted The Lord’s fury, unquenchable! ²

Tell me…

What good is calling, if with Him we don’t daily walk,

But other, ‘counterfeit gods’, we embrace??

Do we really believe at this, The Lord will not balk??

Is this not a clear insult …to His face??

To the big crisis back in those pre-flood days, 

By their calls, The Lord was clearly not propitiated,

Since most folks back then had corrupted their ways,

Nor did He respond as they might have anticipated. ³

By now you know, or should know the story very well,

How He organized a long-term plan for their destruction,

When the stench of their sins up in Heaven He could smell.

He cleansed Earth of all but eight, by a global inundation!

Fast-forward to our world today, and you will clearly see,

Similar scenarios unfolding under The Lord’s nose.

Counterfeit gods we now embrace cannot answer our pleas,

In crisis-after-crisis, with unimaginable blows.

All that is called, ‘God’, in our world really …ain’t.

These are not my words, but His words, paraphrased.

It’s a very clear story that His words paint.

So some notions of ‘God’ should be re-appraised!

‘No other God I know’, that’s what He affirms. ⁴

Believing otherwise is an old devilish trick.

Yet it is for non-gods many hearts still do churn.

So trusting in what’s not God is a really big risk.

‘I am the First and the Last; besides Me there is no god.’

More such assertions in His Word He emphatically makes,

Yet across our world, fake gods we embrace; some are quite odd!

He loves us, and made us to love Him, so imagine His heart aches.

Though He does love us, with us He is not pleased,

If we lack a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

When by problems and disasters, our lives are seized,

‘I am not your God’, He sighs, so we’re on our own in life.

To angels, how deep and dark those deceptions must be,

For folks to spend a lifetime not hearing their Creator’s voice.

To devils, how cheap, yet stark folks’ decisions must be,

Who only want us who hear, to respect them and their god choice.

By faith, God desires us to perceive Him, and non-gods exclude.

But, lacking faith, some concepts of God remains quite amorphous.

Considering the non-gods in our world, this I must conclude:

To believe whatever we choose, He gives Grace. That’s generous!

'I'm not their God, 

but I AM their Judge!'

Changed Roots, Changed Fruits (Poem)

See the Lessons from Trees series here

Many good and awesome lessons we could surely learn,

From trees that are more numerous on Earth than man.

What insights might they speak of The Lord’s grand plans,

If only we would listen, His lessons to discern?

When dissatisfied with fruits on the limbs and boughs of trees,

Arboriculturists focus on the trees’ roots, not their fruits,

To change different nutrient aspects soil contributes.

They do this until the trees produce fruits with which they’re pleased. ¹

They also target fruits that, from flowers, have already sprung,

To preserve current crops, like with nets and fumigation.

This will only protect the current fruit generation.

Targeting roots and soils, serves fruits in generations to come.

When The Lord, through Moses, brought the Hebrew slaves

out of Egypt,

And recounted His laws to them …over and over again,

He was treating the current generations of fruits, Amen?,

Fruits that from Abraham’s, Isaac’s and Jacob’s ‘tree’

would soon be ripped.

Over thousands of generations, The Lord, in varied ways,

Continued in this same particular modus operandi,

And received the same ole results, verified historically:

Weak and meager fruits of righteousness by His people displayed! ² 

Along the way, He planted many ‘seed promises’,

Of a pending, sustainable change in His approach,

To address their wicked ways that triggered His reproach:

On their hearts, in their minds, I will write My purposes. ³

Friends, since our heart and our mind are the clear equivalents,

To the roots of our ‘tripartite human experience,’ ⁴

It is in His amazing Grace and benevolence,

That this approach awaits Israel’s future residents!

Adding to His promises, a prototype or backup,

Today, He extends to the willing an offer that’s profound:

Rather than treating sin problems …from our lofty lifestyles, down,

In salvation, He treats our sin problems …from our roots, up! ⁵

Yep,

Many good and awesome lessons we could surely learn,

From trees that are more numerous on Earth than man.

What insights might they speak of The Lord’s grand plans,

If only we would listen, His lessons to discern?

What if Earth is our classroom, and trees our teachers?

About them, what have you pondered,

and lessons have you discerned?

Since with trees, the Earth has been so abundantly adorned,

If we don’t go to church, might trees be …our preachers??
