Do You ‘See’ What I ‘See’? (Poem)

Jesus, Who Is, and never was not,

Star of Heaven’s cloaked ‘salvation plot’,

His Spirit planted His Seed in a womb He created,

Knowing by folks He created, He would be berated.

He Who has always been, created this world we all live in,

Destined Himself to die to save us from our ‘earned’, hellish end. ¹

He became a babe, subjected to laws He ordained,

Unaware of the divine mission, He foreordained.

His birth was greatly hailed by beings He created,

Angels who before Him, as Lord God, had prostrated.

They are the ones who to Him remained loyal,

After a war in Heaven that was awful.

He sucked milk from breasts He designed,

As in arms He formed, He reclined.

He was raised by parents to whom He had given life, as babes,

With siblings who did not know, in their Creator’s eyes, they gazed!

He, the fount of ALL knowledge and wisdom, ²

Learned to learn, just as we are accustomed.

Though He designed the seed that produced every tree,

He had to toil to learn the trade of carpentry.

As into full adulthood He grew, with worldly success,

One day He was drawn to be tested in the wilderness.

There He perceived, then passed each test, resolutely!

Then hungry, He returned to start His ministry.

He was hungry for some food after weeks of fasting,

Yet more hungry to pursue a new kind of fishing! ³

Now FULLY AWARE of The Father’s grand strategic plan,

He ‘set His face like flint’ to create …a new kind of man! ⁴

Men fishing fish for food, that’s His design.

Men fishing men, sin skewed, new life to find,

That is His Father’s business He was about,

And why He chose 12 men with whom to hangout.

He designed the (first) Temple King Solomon built,

And catalyzed its re-building in Haggai’s script.

Then He Who will one day BE The Temple,

Scourged merchants in it for actions sinful. ⁵

He Who conceived, then designed grapes, sweetness to release,

Drew that same sweetness from water at a wedding feast.

He Who ordained death after living life,

Reversed that sequence to prove He is Christ! ⁶

He Who had taught Adam to live by faith, so long ago,

Demonstrated a faith-filled life to men He got to know.

Then, He was ready for His greatest test, un-afraid,

On Calvary, The Father’s price for sin, fully paid!!! ⁷

His Son, like a Lamb, planned to be slain before anything was,

Their pre-creational plan for us whom they would deeply love:

Mankind, created perfect, lost in sin, yet still esteemed,

Offered a free chance from ALL of their sins to be redeemed.

The foundation of this plan is …the freedom of choice,

A chance for us to express our …‘decisional voice’,

With a guarantee our decision will be respected,

And that by it, our eternal fate will be selected..

Friend, day-by-day, you are deciding …un-knowingly,

In words, actions and life-style choices …unwittingly.

Your choice, whether made appreciatively or viscerally, ⁸

Is written in or erased from Christ’s Book of Life …faithfully.

 That’s the quintessence of C.H.R.I.S.T.M.A.S.

…and life~

So… do you ‘see’ what I ‘see’???

¹ See: Hebrews 1,  Genesis 3:15 and Ezekiel 18:20. Some may think it’s strange, and find it hard to believe, that Jesus, by His Spirit, literally planted His Own Seed into Mary’s womb. Yet absolutely nothing is impossible with/for Him. In Isaiah 42:6-9 (written some 700 years before Jesus was born), Jesus, as The Lord God, pre-incarnate, directly prophesied about Himself, incarnate. Is there any other book on Earth, especially religious/spiritual books, that demonstrates such a predictive quality, wherein predictions became true, historical facts?! This prophecy is just one among many proofs that He is The Lord God.

End His Homelessness (Poem)

After Judean captives had returned home from Babylon,

The Lord sent Haggai to folks who were living in delusions,

To give all those in Jerusalem a project to work on:

‘I see you’re comfy in your houses, while Mine lies in ruins!’ ¹

     (Ouch! What a wake-up call~)

His GREAT Temple had been totally destroyed,

During Babylon’s invasion decades earlier,

And of thoughts to rebuild it, folks were devoid,

Only thinking how they could make their homes cozier. ²

       (To The Lord, selfish gall~)

He’d sent a minor drought to get their attention,

But apparently, nobody ‘connected-the-dots’!

So, He sent Haggai to aid their comprehension.

And to his message, all the folks agreed …on the spot!!!

     (Blessings of a timely word~)

A month later, Haggai returned with a spectacular word!

The Lord knew folks were disheartened thinking of the first temple,

To think their group of former captives could match that, was ABSURD!!!

Thus, He sent them a blissful promise, yet for others, dreadful!

     (Thoughts turned? Desires to build stirred?)

‘The glory of this latter one shall be greater than the first!

And in this place, I will give peace.

In a little while, once more, I’ll shake the heavens and the Earth,

I’ll shake all nations! In this place, My Glory they’ll seek.’ ³

     (Imbedded prophecies, blurred??)

This is about The Lord’s two visits to Earth, our hearts to win:

First, to a virgin, born a babe, from Heaven-to-Earth transferred,

To become The Lamb of God, sent to pay the price for our sin.

Next, as The Lord God, global Monarch. Righteousness then fostered.

     (To you, now clear?)

Did workers hearing this prophecy think, presumptively,

‘This place’ referred to the temple they were building,

Rather than to its location, geographically??

Ahaa! A hint that a third temple will be arriving! ⁴

     (To that, some jeer!!)

In all He did, and still does today,

He’s seeking a home in which to stay.

He sought a building in BC days.

AD, He seeks YoU in whom to stay.

     (Your life, His temple~)

As Babylon’s remnant captives denied His Spirit rest,

Perfecting their homes long before rebuilding His temple,

Friend, today, are you also failing His similar test:

Reject His salvation, and at His judgments, don’t tremble??

   (Don’t think that’s futile!)

If so, to you His Spirit is …‘homeless’,

Denied from giving you eternal Grace He died to give,

Leaving you infected with sin’s virus,

All because you’re denying Him your heart in which to live.

(Of this, beware~)

One day, when as promised, He shakes the heavens and Earth,

He says ALL mountains and EVERY wall will …FALL DOWN!!!

This will be a global phenomenon, in history, it's not the FIRST,

Then to Him, tribulation remnants will BOW DOWN!!! ⁵

(Might you be there?)

Homeless… folks surviving His judgments, denying Him a home.

Homelessness… signaling the of the start of His Millennial Reign.

Homeless… The Lord’s payback to them for rejecting His shalom.

Homelessness… No indication of how long …this will sustain. 

(Before Him, they’ll tremble!!!)

It’s TRUE. In all He did, and still does today,

He is seeking a home in which to enter, rest and flourish.

Learn the lesson those folks learned in Haggai’s day!!

Embrace His salvation, then in righteousness, be nourished. ⁶

PONDER THIS: The Lord's strategic choice of words, '...once more', in Haggai 2:6, should be instructive/pedagogic to us all. I initially missed it, hence this correction: The first time He shook the heavens and the Earth must have been in the global flood. Not one wall on Earth survived, that's for sure. Earth cracked open and the fountains of 'the deep' opened up. Continents were possibly formed to swallow all that water, creating post-flood oceans .

Many folks all over the world still seriously doubt,

The Bible IS The Lord’s view on our past, present and future.

When evidence of its ‘yet-fulfilled prophecies’ play-out,

Don’t think they will view these signs as ‘His affirming signature’!!! ¹

They won’t…

Long ago, He promised to judge our God-rejecting world,

With plagues somewhat like those He rained down on ancient Egypt.

They’ll be much worse, and for a longer time they will unfurl.

When He’s done, by an invasion, Israel will be whipped! ²

By the nation ‘in the far north,’ this invasion will be led,

And its principal side-kick will be Persia, now called Iran.

By large nations, they will be joined, tiny Israel to shred,

Triggered by two demons, and the anti-Christ, satan’s main man. ³

To any Christ-follower with a strategic mindset,

Links, economic and military,

Between Russia and Iran, fit the prophetic context,

Of The Lord’s 3rd age ending prophecy!

So why would Russia, so much BIGGER than tiny Israel,

Need the help of several other nations in this war??

Are NATO’s hopes to degrade its military feasible? ⁴

ALL militaries will degrade by The Lord’s plagues, bizarre!

The Lord once said…

The vision is for an appointed time; it’ll speak, and not lie.

Wait! It’ll surely come. Woe to him who increases what’s not his.

Woe to him who covets evil gain to set his nest on high,

To deliver himself from the power of ‘disaster’s blitz!

Giving his ‘house’ shameful counsel,

Thus, he sins against his own soul.

Thus he destroys many people.

His Word, Israel to console. ⁵

Friends, I trust, like me, you may see,

Relevance of His message then, to the news of our day!

It’s the world’s future history!

Russia and Iran signal …this age's end is on the way!!! ⁶

Humans, Rare on Earth!!! (Poem)

‘I [The Lord Almighty] will punish the world for its evil,
And the wicked for their iniquity;
I will halt the arrogance of the proud,
And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold…’

Isaiah 13:11-12

(NB: That has only happened ONCE in human history,

long BEFORE this prophecy!

Here’s a message from The Lord, deeply in me inspired,

Pointing to an ‘embedded prophecy’ He made long ago,

To a prophet who, by The Lord, is greatly admired.

In our day, it seems His prophecy is very …apropos! ¹

 

Here’s the message I received,

pointing to the prophecy in Isaiah 13:11-13:

Both Heaven and Earth have a serious problem.

Both relate to ‘carrying capacity’,

But they are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

The problem is about …their citizenry.

Listen,

Given lifestyles today, Earth is over-populated,

Unable to sustain payloads procreated.

But it is these very lifestyles, when exacerbated,

That have rendered Heaven …under-populated!

Clinging to your sinful lifestyles with ardor,

You ignore warnings of payment eternal.

You reject Heaven’s citizenship offer,

While to fake news about it, you’re gullible. ²

Embedded in the prophecy is a reference,

To a major, pending de-population of Earth.

It signifies an end to The Lord’s ‘sin tolerance’.

Of this prophecy, folks today should be alert!

 

Though by pestilences, famines, wild beasts and warfare,

He said on us He’d unfold, ³

This prophecy speaks of a time humans will be rare,

Even more rare than …fine gold!!!

 

So…

Let’s examine this prophecy in context,

Of broad predictions that have yet to unfold,

To see how they may link back to this sub-text,

And perceive The Lord’s strange reference to …fine gold.

 

‘A day is as a thousand years’ with The Almighty.

It will help for us to keep this point in mind,

As we delve into His promised, long-term strategy,

And perceive what, in coming days, is assigned. ⁴

Scripture notes several ‘population-reducing’ events,

That correlate with key ‘pre- and post- events’,

Each one of which fits in a predicted strategic sequence,

From which The Lord promises to not relent.

 

Pre-anti-Christ…

Before the anti-Christ, ‘son of satan’, is revealed,

The Lord will rapture His true, proven saints, dead and alive.

For a while, away from Earth both groups will be concealed.

Since most will have died, Earth’s population will not nosedive. ⁵

 

Pre-tribulation…

One day, the anti-Christ will declare himself to be God,

And insist he be worshiped, and folks branded with his mark.

Thanks to special Jewish witnesses whom Heaven will laud,

Many will resist, and face death by beheading, soooo stark!

 

In spirit form, they’ll join all other believers in Heaven,

Awaiting their return with Christ for His thousand-year Reign.

Their deaths will signal a major population reduction,

As on Earth, the son of satan pursues his evil game. ⁶

 

Not long after this, The Lord God’s most severe judgments ever,

Will rain on this God-rejecting world.

All of Earth, folks and animals will incur His worst anger,

Of most sinners, the Earth brutally purged!

 

Desperate to stay alive, ALL will be affected!

Some will have hope as judgments near their culmination,

When they learn, from the judgments, Israel was protected!!

Five nations will launch the first promise land invasion, ⁷

 

1st War of Gog and Magog

Folks will not realize Israel’s protection,

Will be The Lord’s trap for this multi-nation army,

To fulfill an age-old prophetic inscription,

To end the invasion by dissolving this army!!! ⁸

Armageddon War…

After judging the world with His plagues series,

Armies across the world will launch their counter-attack.

Humans will be rare after these enemies!

A remnant will be left, the rest having met their match! 

In this spectacular manner, The Lord will then commence,

His long-awaited Millennial Reign ‘with all of His saints’.

But this won’t end His population reduction sequence!!!

He’ll ‘seek to destroy’ nations with no 'Gog and Magog' restraints. ⁹

 

Satan and all his devils will be locked away.

Earth at peace will enjoy her BEST DAYS!!

All tribulation left-overs will fade away,

And folks newly born will have their days.

 

With folks then living exceptionally long lives,

The population will thrive as in the pre-flood age.

With all of nature, they’ll know how to harmonize.

With Jesus, The Lord God, on board, no wars will be waged. ¹⁰

 

Post-Millennial Reign…

But life on the Earth will not at all be the same,

When The Lord’s Millennial Reign is over,

And satan and his crew are back to their old game.

Folks will then embrace sinfulness with GREAT fervor!

 

They’ll be tempted to invade Jerusalem,

To capture great wealth accumulated when Jesus was there.

They’ll not realize it’s a trap, set for them,

(sounds familiar??)

The Lord’s test: Who’s righteous after My Millennial affair???

 

As in all of His judgments, the guilty will be consumed,

And a remnant will be saved.

For destruction, the heavens and Earth will all then be doomed.

BRAND NEW ONES will be displayed. ¹¹
