Preparing to Reshape Earth

 

On August 15, 2026, as I prayed about and pondered the dramatic increase in glacier melt over the past few decades, I asked The Lord whether/how that development might relate to the GREAT earthquakes predicted in Revelation 6:12-17 and 16:17-21. Eleven days later, on August 26, a catastrophic slope failure involving a glacier along Nepal’s border with China triggered a massive debris flow and flood that traveled nearly 62 miles down the mountain, swelling into a tsunami-like wave as it swept through riverside villages in both countries. Sadly, many people were caught in the flow, and broad areas were destroyed.

 

Only after I recovered from the shocking news did I remember the question I had asked The Lord 11 days earlier. Mind you, I am not inferring that crisis was His answer to my question! Rather, as I continue to study The Book of Revelation in context of the entire Bible, I regarded that crisis as an opportunity and challenge to explore my question more deeply.

 

The Bible affirms The Lord’s plan for a substantial reshaping of Earth for His Millennial Reign age—the 5th of 6 Biblical ages of our history, after which He promised to destroy this current Earth and universe, and reveal a MASSIVE, new, eternal Earth. (See: Earth’s Next Versions (Series), and Ephemeral then Eternal Earth (Series)) As we transit what I understand is this 3rd Biblical age, my studies lead me to conclude the following:

• Ages-wise, our history very likely pivots on the mid-point of the number of ages He has planned for us; BUT

• Years-wise, according to the relatively few yet-fulfilled Bible prophecies, we may have passed the mid-point of the number of years He has planned for us! (See: Mid-ages Musings (Part 1))

 

This has peaked my interest to understand, according to The Bible:

 

1. What will lie ahead during the relatively short remaining 3 ages, 

2. What current and future developments might indicate the successive arrival of the last 3 ages, and

3. What role(s) I might play in encouraging The Lord’s saints to prepare for what lies ahead for us.

 

As Apostle Paul’s writings serve as a quasi-roadmap through the end of this 3rd age, Apostle John’s Book of Revelation serves as a quasi-road map through the last 3 ages—the indicated 7-year tribulation age, the Millennial Reign age, and the ‘little while’ post-Millennial Reign age. In Daniel 7:25, an angel revealed to the prophet that what we now understand will be the tribulation age, will be divided in half of 42 months each. It will end with the apocalypse erupting during the second half. It will end with this awful scenario:

 

Earth Utterly Shaken

Then the 7th angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the Earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

 

This scenario strongly indicates Earth’s surface might become a global plain. Moreover, since other prophecies across The Bible indicate life on Earth will return to conditions before the global flood that ended the first age, I ponder whether Earth’s surface back then was a plain; and whether mountains may have been created during the flood, to open spaces for flood waters to drain—creating the surface we have today? If so, that presents a massive problem lying ahead for humanity. During the flood, there were no people on the surface, but there will be a relatively few people on Earth when all mountains and islands COLLAPSE!!

 

I originally imagined that awful scene with the highest snow-capped mountains, and glaciers in their full strength. BUT climate change is gradually melting both the glaciers and that snow! Thus, if my scenario about draining the flood waters may be right, then The Lord perfectly knows how to undo what He did during the flood! Thus I ponder whether allowing some snow-caps and glaciers to melt BEFORE that future event, might, in His Grace, account for the fact that, this time, there will be people on the surface of Earth. Of course no one knows. Thus, I intuit allowing some or all melting now, might attenuate the impacts of the collapse then. 

Unfolding Phase Transitions

Our world is increasingly fraught with intensifying climate changes, declining regional birth rates, exponential changes in industrial systems and capacities, revolutions in weapons development and warfare strategies, unimaginable depths of corruption and criminal cruelty, and the resulting shifts in global migration patterns, etc. These compounding global pressures are not merely isolated disruptions. They depict the internal stresses of a world system nearing a critical threshold. Observing unimaginable climate crises, we increasingly hear/read the exclamation, ‘APOCALYPTIC!!’ Many Bible scholars have developed differing perspectives of the apocalypse, and frameworks in which it might fit. Into this mix, I offer the following perspective, based on a fundamental concept used across many areas of physics: the approaching, literal apocalypse may constitute a critical threshold.

…everything directly and indirectly related to Earth’s climate and environment, is well within the purview and agency of Jesus, The Lord God of all creation… He articulated and activated His post-crucifixion plan for us—summarized in chapters 6-to-22 of The Book of Revelation. Every day is a step in the direction of achieving His stated, multi-millennial objectives. Increasing climate and environmental changes are just one among many signals that His strategic plan is …unfolding apace.

 

On August 15, 2026, I asked The Lord, whether/how the dramatic increase in glacier melt over the past few decades might relate to the GREAT earthquakes predicted in Revelation 6:12-17 and 16:17-21. I intuit those earthquakes might effectively ‘sandwich’ the pending ends of this current 3rd Biblical age—the church age or age of Grace to all peoples—and also of the predicted, short 4th Biblical age—the tribulation age—of our history! ¹

How would you answer that question? 

 

I asked Gemini and ChatGPT AIs. Gemini answered  ‘NO’. GPT answered ‘YES’. I then asked them to substantiate their replies. Gemini essentially changed the question, and answered the question, ‘Is industrialization-caused climate change in The Bible?’ The clear answer is, NO! It then set about to prove its correct reply to the wrong question. 

 

Answering the right question, ChatGPT noted, Scripture does not present a modern scientific theory called ‘climate change’, but it repeatedly describes large-scale, often divinely driven changes in Earth’s environment, weather, atmosphere, seas, and habitability. It provided a list of Scriptures that demonstrate and predict even more MAJOR climate changes from Genesis-to-Revelation, starting with (1) how The Lord rescued Earth from its watery grave (Genesis 1), (2) the Global Flood (Genesis 7, 8), and (3) the predicted global environmental changes during and after the apocalypse—changes that will culminate in a brand new Earth, with a brand new environment, in a brand new ‘heavens’! Though many of us might not be aware of them, those points are Biblically unarguable!

When Jesus, The Lord God, created the heavens and the Earth, He purposely intended them to be temporary. Thus, temporary they SHALL be! In a few books of The Bible before Revelation, He sowed some clues of His plan, yet many of us might miss them. 

In Revelation, He also sowed a few clues about His planned, brimstone-lit lake of fire, but they gave us no clues about where it might be located. Let’s examine both of these sets of clues.

Lake of Fire Location Clues ¹

 

In Matthew 25:41 and Jude 6-7, The Lord and Jude, respectively, mention an eternal fire prepared for satan and his crew of devils and demons—former holy angels who had rebelled against The Lord. But neither mention the eternal source of fuel or where it will be located. 

 

Five times, Revelation mentions the lake of fire, three of which reveal its eternal source of fuel, but none specify its location. That absence has triggered many notions, most disconnected from Scripture, about where in the new creation that awful place might be!

 

Following is the possible answer I derived by ‘allowing those Scriptures to elucidate Scripture’.

GoG's Millennial Reign 'Sandwich'

If someone you HATED with a passion predicted you will do something, would you intentionally avoid doing it, just to spite that person? What if the prediction of what you will do will end in a massive disaster, but it was something you deep down, actually WANTED to do?!

In Ezekiel 38, 39 and Revelation 20, The Lord, through the prophet, Ezekiel, and Apostle John, predicted someone named Gog will be the principal instigator in a coalition invasion of Israel, and later, an attempted global invasion of Jerusalem. 

 

• The first invasion will likely occur during the 4th Biblical age of human history—the tribulation age—and will pre-date both Armageddon and the Millennial Reign age—the 5th Biblical age of human history. The Lord will end the Ezekiel 38/39 invasion by:

 

o   Turning soldiers’ weapon against each other,

o   Triggering pestilence and bloodshed, and

o   Flooding the battlefield with rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

 

• The second invasion will occur during the 6th Biblical age of human history—the post-Millennial Reign age, and will post-date Armageddon. The Lord will end the Revelation 20 attempted invasion by:

 

o   Raining down fire from Heaven, 

o   Casting satan and his entire kingdom into the brimstone-lit lake of fire, where the anti-Christ global leader (during the tribulation age) and his false prophet (possibly a prime minister-type) will have been cast a thousand years earlier!

 

This sequence signals there will be more than a thousand years between these two invasions. Ergo, it signals to me that Gog might not be a human leader. In First Ukraine, Next Israel’s Terrain?!, and Favoring Gog! (Series), posit a plausible framework for intuiting who Gog might be, and why The Lord is so vehemently against him.

The Significance of This?

 

1. The Lord has a special attraction to Jerusalem, perhaps because it is where He will spend His long-promised Millennial Reign as Earth’s Global King. His attraction is unlikely related to political Israel. Though the two Gog-instigated invasions will be over a thousand years apart, they will literally ‘sandwich’ The Lord’s Millennial reign. Though they will both end in a fiery defeat of all human invasion forces, they will perfectly achieve a significant part of satan’s dual, multi-millennial strategic objectives:

 

• To tempt as many humans as possible to join the ongoing rebellion (i.e., sin) he initiated when he was Lucifer—a high-ranking, holy angel; and

• To deceive them into joining his entire kingdom in the awful judgment The Lord has planned for them—eternal confinement in a brimstone-lit lake of fire, both groups as sentient, immortal beings.

 

2. Both invasions will serve as further proofs of The Lord’s professed credentials. Throughout human history, His prophecies becoming historical facts prove His Divinity—though sadly, to our GREAT disadvantage, we are disinclined to recognize this Truth.

 

3. The final invasion will demonstrate the sheer depth of demonic deceptions during the post-Millennial Reign age! People participating in the invasion might not have learned any spiritual insights from the (then) history of the tribulation age—including how the earlier (Ezekiel 38/39 and Armageddon) invasions of Israel will have ended—or from the extent to which Godly righteousness will dominate the Millennial Reign age! Perhaps, because that age will have been governed by the direct rule of The Lord rather than the freedom people now experience to reject His ways, this final rebellion may represent the ‘recoil’ that will occur after The Lord’s restraint is removed, and He and His saints return to Heaven.

 

4. Even after having been locked away from Earth for over a millennium, satan’s kingdom will not have lost its ‘tempting and deceiving edge’ over humans! His entire kingdom will know the FINAL invasion it will instigate will be its LAST attempt to MAXIMIZE achievement of its multi-millennial strategic objectives, because after that, all devils and demons will be immediately cast into The Lord’s brimstone-lit lake of fire, per Revelation 20:10.

 

5. Reflecting on the 2 questions in the first paragraph above, this is what I perceive:

 

No doubt, satan and his entire kingdom learned of these two predictions after Apostle John published his (circa 95 AD) vision from The Lord. Despite satan’s burning hate for The Lord, and knowing how these invasions will end, he will be strategically un-able and dis-inclined to stop Gog from triggering them because of their significance. The final one will be THE CLIMAX of his multi-millennial strategy to tempt and deceive as many humans as possible to join them in The Lord’s brimstone-lit lake of fire, as sentient, immortal beings FOREVER!

 

6. What, pray tell, might these FUTURE events reveal about us TODAY?? Here’s my intuition. 

 

Today, we’re spiritually just like our ancestors.

Thus, just like us, so might our successors be.

After a millennium of forced, righteous behaviors,

Most will be …ignorant, spiritually!

Spiritual Context

 

Across the pages of The Bible, The Lord has repeatedly promised—and across the ages of human history repeatedly demonstrated—that He would use ‘the sword’ (warfare) as one of His 4 judgment henchmen against persistent, unrepented sinfulness in any land. Yet, in our push to deny Him any agency in human affairs, we foolishly ignore His warnings, even as we repeatedly suffer under the weights of what He promised, then activated! So when I read and hear of wars breaking out, my spirit ponders His promise. 

Glimpses of the 5th Biblical Age!

Friends,

This video is a mere preview, a tiny glimpse of human-animal, and animal-animal relationships during The Millennial Reign (MR) age! (See: Isaiah 11:6-9) That will be when Jesus, The Lord God, will be Earth’s Global King after He substantially restructures it during the pending apocalypse.

Most of us might not realize that human/animal relationships during the 1st Biblical age (pre-flood) were harmonious. Also, humans and animals shared the SAME diet. (See: Genesis 1:29-30) So I ponder to what extent might The Lord, in the 5th age, restore those aspects of the 1st age. 

I can hardly wait to experience the FULLNESS of that 5th Biblical age of our history, as a resurrected, GLOWING, immortal saint of Jesus Christ! I believe all of Heaven is busy preparing for this, the GREATEST of 6 Biblical ages ordained for humanity on this current version of Earth, before revealing its long-planned, new, MASSIVE, eternal Earth that likely already exists by now.

Since we are currently transiting the late 3rd Biblical age, and the 4th age will only last ~7 years, we are MUCH CLOSER THAN EVER to the start of that long-promised, 5th age! As I ask in this song,
