Over the last few years, The Lord inspired me to perceive and ponder persistent patterns in His multi-millennial, Genesis-to-Revelation strategy for humanity, including observing when some of those patterns appear to be disrupted. Reviewing what I learned and shared, I pondered what repetitive patterns I might have missed? Recent events in mid-2026 triggered me to search for a new one:
The repetitive pattern of a final lesson for humanity,
manifested in or as totally unusual events
prior to the global, age-ending judgment.
Let’s consider the following as evidence of this pattern, when two totally unusual events developed and reached their maturity near the ends of the first two Biblical ages of history.
1st age (Pre-flood): Noah began to build a MASSIVE boat/ark, and to predict a global flood will happen. With hindsight, we know the results of these TOTALLY unusual developments—no one outside of Noah’s family believed and prepared accordingly. Those developments appear to have served as Heaven’s final warnings and lesson for people to learn before Heaven would release its global judgment to end that age! (Genesis 6)
2nd age (Pre-cross): During an unusual period of celestial activity, a babe was born of a virgin, exactly as Isaiah had predicted about 700+ years earlier! At age 30, He, Jesus Christ, initiated His TOTALLY unusual ministry during which (according the Gospel books and Galatians 4:4), He:
• Declared He was sent to Earth and Israel by God, His Father,
• Performed spectacular, unheard of miracles,
• Claimed immortality (existing before Abraham),
• Claimed He would be God’s sacrifice for humanity and would resurrect from the grave, and
• Boldly promised to establish a global, organic movement (His ‘church’), designed to test and expose human hearts, and to challenge seen and unseen spiritual authorities, and to purge (shake out) fake/unfaithful people in His church prior to returning to collect His faithful saints.
Subsequent Ages?
Similarly, The Bible affirms there will be several totally unusual events and lessons that should be learned during the closing years of the 4th Biblical age. Consider the following:
4th age (Tribulation): During the second half of this ~7-year age, Heaven’s strategy predicts an apocalypse, comprising 2 unique sets of judgment events that will result in the destruction of substantial proportions of Earth’s environment, totally restructure its geography, and make humans and land animals very rare on Earth. Those TOTALLY unusual events will be Heaven’s worst judgments on sinful humanity since the global flood that ended the 1st age! HOWEVER…it appears the first 6 of those 6 trumpet events will apparently be LESSONS—Grace opportunities for people to repent in the midst of severe judgments! As such, these initial judgments will not signal Heaven will have totally given up, and is determined to proceed with its much worse set of 7 bowl judgments. Grace in the midst of severe judgments may seem like an odd combination, but in this case, it will be REAL.
Consider this evidence of the above:
• 12 times, the word, repent, is mentioned in The Book of Revelation (NKJV). Of those, 4—a third, 33.33%—are mentioned in reference to the trumpets judgments of the apocalypse! The word, repent, is not mentioned thereafter.
• It is curious that the word, ‘a third’, is mentioned 13 times in reference to the trumpets judgments.
• 3 angels will be dispatched to preach to the world! Imagine ‘celestial sermons’ during severe judgments! Their messages will be the most critical LESSONS for people to learn as they struggle with the after-effects of the 6 trumpet judgment prior to Heaven’s release of the worst judgments of the apocalypse!
• Yet, with all of these TOTALLY unusual judgments and other events, Revelation 16:9 - 11 predict people will not have repented prior to the time the 7 bowls judgments will be released! Those statements affirm what may be a typically un-recognized strategic purpose of the first 6 trumpets judgments—to prompt people to REPENT!
• Ergo, The Lord’s Grace to them will have fully expired after the 7th trumpet event, prompting Heaven to prepare to release His final blows—the 7 bowl judgments—on the Earth and the remaining people. The bowls judgments will very likely signify ‘the time to repent …IS OVER!’
• This decision will be confirmed in:
o Revelation 14:14-16—a global non-marking, spiritual equivalent of what happened in Ezekiel 9 when The Lord commanded the spiritual marking/slaying of all sinful Judeans prior to the pending 3 invasions of the Babylonian army that would physically slay those marked people; and
o Revelation 14:17-20—a spiritual equivalent of the resurrection/rapture event for The Lord’s saints (His elect) from across the first 3 Biblical ages of history. (The Bible iteratively indicates Heaven’s planned physical events on Earth, have some types of spiritual preludes or seeds in Heaven. That’s a clear Biblical pattern!

What’s Missing and Why??
I currently know of no clear, Biblical predictions of TOTALLY unusual developments and lessons people should learn several years prior to the ends of the 3rd, 5th and 6th Biblical ages. This does not mean there won’t be any such events and lessons. Paul did predict steady erosion of righteousness across the Earth and also in the church during the latter days of this current (3rd) Biblical age. This prediction began to fulfill many decades ago.
