In choosing leaders to serve,
The Lord God displays His Hand,
Giving to any people,
Leaders He knows they deserve.
He thus achieves His Grand Plan,
That’s revealed in His Bible. 1
History echoes this pattern,
From ancient, to modern times.
We could see it if only,
Into folks’ hearts we could discern.
Yet there is a paradigm,
That shows it to us clearly! 2
Though He gives us ‘freedom of choice’,
He knows what we’ll choose in advance,
His foreknowledge plus our freedom,
Synergistically form ‘a voice’.
So what we think happens by chance,
Is that voice, shaping His outcomes! 3
He sees futuristically,
Realizations of His plans,
And objectives at all levels.
We see it historically,
Yet we don’t account for His Hand,
For lack of faith that bedevils!
The Lord’s 6 planned ages on Earth,
Have this pattern in common:
Sin erodes choices we’ll make,
Until they’re …of no righteous worth!
Applied to leaders of nations,
Here’s an insight that’s not fake!!
From a people, leaders arise,
Who’ve been ‘cooked in a nation’s stew’.
Thus, they reflect what’s ‘in the pot’.
To powers that leaders derive,
Add political ballyhoo,
That promotes …societal rot! 4
Those leaders who’re very smart,
Don’t just reflect nations’ pots.
They increasingly become,
What’s hidden in peoples’ hearts--
Unspoken things of their thoughts,
As cream, leaders don’t rise, but as scum! 5
People’s moral inversions trigger,
Their leaders’ ‘moral inversality’. 6
As each age ends, it’s metastasized.
Then, by judgments, people are clobbered,
And Heaven turns its ‘age page’, noisily!
This pattern, The Bible certifies!!

1 See: Daniel 2:21, Hosea 13:11 and Romans 13:1-7. The Lord’s appointment of national leaders, implies a broader divine control, and allowance of existing structures and powers to serve His intended purposes within His grand, strategic design—Grace to build up, or Judgments to tear down. This is His iterative pattern throughout human history. Moreover, it echoes prophetically across the 3 ages to come.
2 See: Genesis 6:5-8. See footnote 6.
3 Synergistic voicing—the combination of two or more uniquely different things to form a new and distinct ‘voice’. This happens frequently, both in literal terms (e.g., in music), and metaphorically (e.g., in branding, art, social contexts). The core concept is that the combined effect of the elements, becomes greater and different than the sum of their individual parts. Imagine the unlimited ways this concept could be applied, spiritually! WoW!
4 Political ballyhoo—or moral grandstanding, is a documented phenomenon that has the potential to corrupt individual character and harm public discourse. While not all political showmanship is inherently corrupting, psychological research (get best reference) identifies specific behaviors associated with it, that are driven by self-interest and linked to negative outcomes, rather than genuine moral concern, or, in the case of national leaders, to a nation’s core benefits. These include: the promotion of narcissism, antagonisms, conflicts, prioritizing symbolic gestures over substantive solutions, ‘trumped-up’ moral or other problems where none exist, polarization, cynicism, distrust; and the erosion of productive dialogue.
5 The phrase, ‘cream rises to the top’, originates from the processing of un-homogenized milk, in which the less dense, fatty cream, naturally separates, and floats to the surface, making it the most special and desirable part. The concept of scum, rather than cream, rising to the top, often involves environments where negative traits and behaviors are rewarded, systems lack accountability, and people confuse confidence with competence. This phenomenon occurs when the mechanisms that should reward talent and merit, are instead exploited by toxic, incompetent individuals.
6 Equate moral inversion to seed-level corruption. It begins in individuals, then spreads through cultures, warping a nation’s moral conscience. When The Word of God (The Bible) is dismissed, sin is rebranded as virtue. People who practice evil are celebrated, and those who resist it, are silenced. That’s when Romans 1:18-32 kicks-in with vengeance! This results in fruit-level corruption of catastrophic leadership, per Proverbs 29:2. This paradigm echoes across history! See: Even to the Lowest of Men.
