Our words rehearse futures, that may become ‘our case’.
Thus, how we label others, we risk becoming.
Contemptuous words we speak, seek a dwelling place.
And in the speaker’s heart, find their best homecoming.
We mocked the poor, then learned to prize that which is crude.
We scorned ALL restraint, then crowned excess as king.
As quaint, we sneered at Truth, and over facts we feud,
Till it felt like, in a sea of lies, we’re sinking.
In language, empires fall first, not in stone.
Derision trains souls to think selfishly.
By what we reduce, we may soon be known.
What we excuse, one day we’ll embody!
Nations aren’t ruined by their flaws alone,
But by their pride, by which they’ll be chastened.
Their deeds sown outward, return fruits homegrown.
As they return, they’re sharpened by Heaven.
Thoughts of our heart, will our lives soon adorn,
What we’re becoming, we will not notice.
The Lord’s not mocked by our slogans or scorn.
He knows our words bring us His justice.
Nations are s-holes, when people deny.
Major lessons from history’s archives.
With what Heaven calls ‘RIGHT’, they won’t comply.
Thus, into sin-holes, those nations nosedive.
Devils worked hard; they perfected their plot,
To pin sin-hole labels on EVERY nation!
The richest and strongest among the lot,
Became devils’ top prize through strong temptations.
~~◊~~
‘Let not the wise glory in their wisdom;
Let not the mighty glory in their might;
Nor let the rich glory in their riches.
But let those who glory, glory in THIS—
That they understand and know Me,
That I am The Lord, exercising lovingkindness,
judgment, and righteousness in the Earth.
For in these I delight’,
says The Lord.
(Jeremiah 9:23-24)
