What Kind of Europe?

 

Traditional Christian thought is that the final anti-Christ man will hail from Europe. This is likely based on interpretations of prophecies of the rise of the remnants of a 4th kingdom, possibly a derivative from the fallen Roman Empire. While I don’t have a solid opinion on this point, it’s worth examining this interpretation in light of clear Bible prophecies and current global events.

 

In several 2025 posts, including Demonstration Effects, I shared what The Lord inspired me to perceive re. the return of Donald Trump to the American presidency, and to global influence and power. Since his return, the world has witnessed a steady stream of chaos on just about every front of life, both nationally and internationally. The Lord presented this to me as glimpse of what His strategic plan calls for the final anti-Christ regime to be and do during the 4th age of our history—the short (7-year) tribulation age. If Trump’s regime is a forerunner of that predicted, global regime, here are some factors we might keep in mind.

Current events reveal a Europe that is struggling to make sense of, and respond to a stream of erratic, chaotic statements and policies from Trump, personally, and his regime, administratively. Very slowly, this has prompted the larger European nations to move towards greater unity than that which previously existed on matters of regional and global influence. Before Trump’s return, Russia’s second invasion of Ukraine had a similar, though less speedy effect. The combination of Trump’s return to power, and the continuance of Russia’s invasion has prompted larger European nations to unite more than previously. 

In this sense, today’s Europe may reflect its pre-Roman Empire condition—fragmented, hesitant, and lacking a unifying civilizational will, despite possessing sophisticated administrative systems.

 

The Bible’s iteratively predicts the sudden rise of a man to global power and influence, who will be possessed with satanic miracle-working powers. For more on these predictions, see: anti-Christ (Series) and anti-Christ Missed Insights (Series). The predicted sudden RISE of this man, is more than matched with his predicted, sudden FALL! Revelation 19:19-20 and 20:11-15 summarize his fall, along with his possibly prime minister-type ‘prophet’. They will apparently be the FIRST humans to be cast into The Lord’s brimstone-lit, eternal lake of fire, as immortal beings, well over a thousand years BEFORE being joined there by satan, all his devils and demons, and every unrepentant, human sinner who will have ever lived! Take a moment to read that prophecy, and allow it to sink in. 

 

So what might be the connection between these prophecies and current events across Europe? In a pending new series, I am examining whether and how the predicted impact of The Lord opening the 6th seal on His scroll, might possibly be the trigger for the rise of the final anti-Christ and his regime. Stay tuned… 

 

Here’s a plausible connection: The aftermath of those horrific, global impacts will undoubtedly UNITE the significantly reduced remnant of humanity across the world!

I imagine it/they would be for somebody, ANYBODY to take charge and lead the three stages of disaster management:

 

Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction!

 

Ponder this: If The Lord opened the 6th seal on His scroll during the Trump regime, to what nation(s) or entities might the whole world look for leadership in the aftermath of those horrific impacts?? My intuition is that, today (early 2026), no nation, group of nations or institutions engender(s) the qualities one might expect to trigger faith for global leadership. YET, prophecies seem to demand that such leadership will quickly emerge from one man, in one nation! Daniel 7:7-8 appear to predict a power will rise in the form of a 10-nation coalition, but will quickly reduce to only 7 nations. Bottom line: Heaven’s strategy calls for The Lord to open the 6th seal on His scroll. While traditional Christian thought places the opening of all 7 seals on that scroll, during the apocalypse, I intuit the first 4 seals were likely opened in the early centuries of this current 3rd age. Interestingly, Ukraine president Zelenskyy’s speech at Davos 2026, is a powerful call for a much more aggressive, forward-thinking/looking and united Europe to influence, even control a new world order, for good. Europe needs less reliance on a changing U.S.. In the face of global challenges, Europe clearly needs to ‘steel its defensive spine’. Yet, if and as it does, I imagine Heaven might use a European global power posture, to achieve ITS predictions related to the 4th age! 

 

One way or another, The Lord God WILL ‘turn His ages page’. If His opening the 6th seal on His scroll might be …Heaven’s hand that turns that page, then the world will be confronted with the horrendous aftermath of His predicted, devastating impacts. In such a devastated world, authority would likely consolidate around whoever could most convincingly orchestrate the three, unavoidable phases of global recovery:

In his speech, President Zelenskyy said Donald Trump says he loves Europe. Zelenskyy surmises Trump ‘…will not listen to THIS [current] KIND of Europe!’—a fragmented, lost, powerless Europe.

 

Do you perceive Heaven’s Hand pivoting Europe

to become a global power, possibly to achieve 

The Lord’s predicted strategy?

 

Historically, Heaven applies pressure,

until human postures align …with Its purposes.
