The 6th Seal, Civilization’s Reset? (Part 4)

I trust this review of the context and implications of The Lord opening the 6th seal on His scroll is insightful to you. The judgments released on Earth will be like nothing experienced since the global flood that ended the 1st age of our history. Following are some points to ponder as you continue to digest this review, and progress in your preparations for this inevitable event.

 

1. In just 6 short verses, Revelation 6:12-17 summarize how Heaven will shockingly close this 3rd age of human history! While people at that time might think, ‘apocalyptic!’, these judgments won’t be the apocalypse! BUT, it might be good for people to think such! Why? By the time the world finds its footing after this attack, it will be struck by the REAL apocalypse that will last ~42 months—much longer than the Revelation 6:12-17 impacts!

I find it curious how people (possibly saints and sinners alike) are quick to think and shout, ‘APOCALYPTIC!!’ and ‘Biblical proportions!’, when shocking events occur. It seems that such would only be good, IF they actually lived lives that demonstrate belief in, and an understanding of the …apocalypse of Biblical proportions’. Otherwise, like the boy who continually insisted ‘the sky is falling’, overuse of this word and phrase might effectively dilute or prevent them from seeking a real understanding. 

2. Prophetic judgments do not unfold in abstraction; they ripple outward through real societies, real nations, and real human decisions. Imagine the waves of global migration that impacts of opening the 6th seal will trigger. I even wonder whether some nations might cease to exist, due to their inability to recover and reconstitute. As such, ponder this: 

How might migrants from formerly prosperous nations be received and treated

by people in nations to which they might have to flee in desperation?? 

The Bible insists that, in one way or another, in this life or in eternity, unless we repent and turn from our sinful lifestyles, we will reap what we sow. Today’s migrants, whom citizens in some nations treat horribly, might one day soon be the very people who will help to determine the fates of those fleeing citizens! I say that in light of Biblical teachings that we all will be judged in proportion to our blessings, and our understanding of what Heaven calls righteousness. Caveat!!! The Bible affirms, God will NOT be mocked! We will reap what we will have sown.

3. Heaven’s apparent end-game for its 6th seal attack, will be to trigger the conditions for the revealing of the final anti-Christ man, who will quickly rise to global power and influence. The Bible predicts he will gain power and influence by intrigue, and will then flip his script! Does that remind you of other past and present national leaders who campaign on what seems to be a just platform, only to ‘flip the scene’ in terms of how they govern? When will we learn to be much more careful and intuitive in selecting our leaders at all levels of power?! Perhaps ‘nehvah’! 

At some point, this man will be endowed with satanic miracle working powers to help deceive the whole world, and possibly to facilitate MASSIVE post-disaster relief, rehabilitation and recovery efforts. In Revelation, this man is called ‘the beast’, possibly for how he will mercilessly martyr/behead The Lord devout 4th age saints. Imagine this: Many former saints who will have discarded their faith during the 3rd age, will survive to live in the 4th age. Many of them will return to Christian faith when they realize they will have missed Heaven’s next resurrection/rapture event!

 

4. Because of unbelief, the whole world will be totally caught off guard, and will have no defenses against these impacts of opening the 6th seal! However, The Bible predicts quite a different scenario a mere 7 years later! Learn about, and imagine that context here.

 

5. Finally, across The Bible, and especially The New Testament, Jesus Christ, The Lord God Almighty, carefully prepared powerful patterns, portrayals and predictions for us to read, imagine, and observe how they would play-out over the course of history. Sadly, too few of us have been attentive to this incredible opportunity. What does that say about us, collectively??

 

Here's my take: For over two millennia, humanity has witnessed and suffered countless negative consequences of our being unaware of, dis-believing or flat-out ignoring what The Bible warned us would happen during this 3rd age of human history. As we approach the inevitability of The Lord opening the 6th seal on His scroll, most of us will continue in our well-worn patterns. BUT, once that seal is been opened, and the associated judgments may force a hard reset of civilization, GLOBALLY, countless former Christians will realize they will have been ‘left behind’ (i.e., missed Heaven’s resurrection/rapture event). That realization will likely STEEL THEIR FAITH when they SUDDENLY WAKE UP, learn about, and develop exceptionally strong faith in His patterns, portrayals and predictions! Their strong faith will enable them to persist through the predicted horrors of the anti-Christ leader’s rule. See: Revelation 7:9-17. Most of them will become ‘Heaven bent’ on NOT missing Heaven’s predicted, NEXT resurrection/rapture event for all of its 4th age saints—NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!!!
