The 6th Seal, Civilization’s Reset? (Part 3)

Let’s conclude our examination of the context and implications of The Lord opening the 6th seal on His scroll—possibly as Heaven’s pre-written verdict against this 3rd age—in the ‘same spirit’ as Genesis 6, His biting verdict against the 1st age of human history. What follows is not a comparison between Genesis 6 and the 6th seal. Rather, I perceive certain aspects of Genesis 6, and the subsequent impacts described in Genesis 7, as an indicative template for several of Heaven’s later age-transition patterns.

 

3. ‘Cover’ for the Next Resurrection/Rapture Event?

 

The U.S. military gave the world two extraordinary examples of how it extracts international fugitives from their safe houses—namely Osama bin Laden and Nicolas Maduro! Irrespective of what we may think of these men, or the U.S. military operations against them, the detailed level of planning, practice, stealth, and cross-agency coordination required to accomplish their lightning extraction strikes, was extremely impressive!

Reflecting on those operations, and on Biblical predictions about the pending resurrection and rapture of us 3rd-age saints at the end of this age, I wondered whether and how the predicted impacts of The Lord opening the 6th seal on His scroll, might serve as ‘Heaven’s cover’ for our global extraction from Earth! I even asked ChatGPT and Gemini AI models to draft two scenarios each: 

 

>> One depicting a fictional, joint Delta Force and Seal Team 6 extraction of a large group of prisoners from a massive prison compound in a foreign country; and 

 

>> Another on how their depictions might be GREATLY expanded to facilitate a global extraction of all 3rd age saints! Vivid imagination? Indeed! Their responses seriously stirred my imaginations! (Email me if you might like to read their responses.)

 

Let’s consider some hidden contextual points re. the 6th seal events.

 

…Distinguishing the 3rd and 4th age resurrection/rapture events. 

Some traditional teachings anticipate one joint resurrection/rapture event for 3rd and 4th age saints. An informed reading of 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, and Matthew 24:29-31 should put this issue to rest. These passages clearly depict two significantly different events. In the first passage, Christ is unseen on Earth, but is globally seen in the second passage. The first phrase in Matthew 24:29 very clearly situates the timeframe for His third return to Earth, as post-apocalypse. So this event will only be for The Lord’s bona fide 3^rd age saints, which will obviously include some people who were BORN during the last few decades of the 2nd age, and who became saints in the 3rd age. Re-read that point and consider The Lord’s disciples, apostles and many others.

 

…The twins spirit/soul of deceased saints will accompany The Lord.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, Apostle Paul affirms The Lord will bring with Him from Heaven, what I call the immortal twins (spirit and soul) of deceased saints, to rejoin their resurrected physical bodies, made immortal. Recall, Adam and Eve were created in His image as tripartite immortal—spirit, soul and body. When they sinned, their bodies became subject to physical death, and their immortal parts became subject to what Revelation refers to as ‘the second death’. The Bible defines the second death, NOT as death that we now experience, but as eternal torment in The Lord’s brimstone-lit lake of fire, as a tripartite, immortal human—spirit, soul and body. See: Revelation 2:11, 20:14 and 21:8—3 witnesses confirmations! The Bible iteratively affirms all The Lord’s bona fide saints will escape this eternal judgment.

 

 

…The 6th seal global great earthquake.

What follows is not an attempt to describe the mechanics of resurrection, but to illustrate how the scale of this earthquake will align with what Scripture already affirms about The Lord’s creative and restorative power.

 

This will be a global quake for Heaven’s global harvest of all bona fide 3rd age saints. It will exclude folks who will have become ‘Christianesque’, lukewarm, and apostate during the 3rd age. Earthquakes don’t only break open Earth’s crust. To varying degrees, they also stir and reorganize the dust of the Earth, even at the most minute levels. Since, thus far in human history, no one has died away from planet Earth, The Lord knows the Earth coordinates of every molecule of every deceased body He created. Recall how He created Adam! Thus, I imagine He might ‘rock, rattle and reconstitute’ every dust molecule of His deceased saints’ bodies, to rejoin their immortal twins—and once again, become tripartite, immortal beings, just as Adam and Eve were before they sinned. Sounds exciting?

 

As noted in Part 2, point 2 (2nd and 6th ages saints), it seems safe to correlate this Revelation 6:12 great quake, with (a) the great quake mentioned in Matthew 28, that occurred when Jesus and all saints from the 1st and 2nd ages were resurrected; and (b) the planet busting great quake that will end the 6th age, and destroy this current version of Earth. ¹ This seems to indicate an iterative pattern of Heaven using great earthquakes to facilitate its planned, global resurrection events—initially of only saints from the 1st – 4th ages, and finally of all saints and sinners together from the 6th age. ²

 

…Mountains and islands moved—a strategic down payment.

Revelation 6:14 predicts every mountain and island will move out of its place. Yet they will still persist AS mountains and islands! If that statement sounds odd, consider mountains and islands moving from their current places, as Heaven’s ‘strategic down payment’ for what will occur after The Lord removes the 7th, final seal on His scroll, about 7 years after removing the 6th seal: ‘Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.’ This will be one of several impacts of the final apocalypse judgment on humanity and Earth. ³ But why?

 

In Revelation 21, Apostle John was given a visionary tour of the new, eternal Jerusalem on the new, eternal Earth The Lord, in Isaiah 65:17 and 66:22, promised to create. In that vision, Jerusalem was a MASSIVE city, possibly the highest point on that MASSIVE planet. Zechariah 14:10 predicts that, during the Millennial Reign age on this current Earth, Jerusalem will be raised up, and lands around it will be a plain. The Bible is not clear whether all the Earth, except Jerusalem, will be a plain, but I intuit…no place on Earth will be exalted above the seat of The Lord’s Millennial capital! 

 

…Real-bodied extractions.

Paul attests the transformation of all resurrected and alive saints, from mortal-to-immortal, will happen ‘in the twinkling of an eye’. I don’t recall Him saying the process by which our tripartite, immortal bodies (with physical mass) will be caught-up on the cloud with The Lord, would also happen ‘in the twinkling of an eye’. I wonder whether that ‘beam me up, Scottie-type’ process might potentially take a bit longer, especially considering we will be coming from across Earth’s 4 hemispheres—east, west, north and south! Just my imagination…

…Heaven or sky rolling up.

Revelation 6:14 has triggered a myriad of interpretations, some more wild than others. My wildest imagination is that it might signify completion of the extraction of all 3rd age saints from Earth, after which the cloud on which we will join The Lord, ‘takes off’ like a rocket.

 

I intuit this rather strange event merely signifies Heaven’s closing (as in rolling-up a scroll) this current age of FREE Grace to all peoples. The Gospel will have been made available across the entire world, as The Lord predicted in Matthew 24:14 and Mark 13:10. The end of 3rd age FREE Grace might signify the availability of only earned Grace in the final 3 of our promised 6 ages on this version of Earth—the tribulation, Millennial Reign and post-Millennial reign ages.

 

…Cosmic disturbances.

The predicted strange colors of the sun and moon, might be triggered by the combined effects of a global earthquake, volcanoes it might trigger, meteoroids slamming into the Earth, and the tremendous amounts of dust that might become airborne across the planet. Large amounts of airborne dust affect the light of the sun and moon differently. In my imagination, I equate meteoroids slamming into the Earth, to the bombs the U.S. military fired across the capital of Venezuela during its mission to extract President Maduro. Those bombs took-out anti-aircraft batteries, and provided ‘cover’ as the helicopters invaded the airspace. 

 

Similarly, I intuit these predicted disturbances might possibly serve as ‘Heaven’s cover’ for the extraction of its 3rd age saints. I can perceive no reason why The Lord would allow His kinetic operation to be easily and fully visible to anyone on the Earth. Can you? He disallowed visibility of His extractions of saints from the first two ages of our history. (Matthew 28:2) 

 

Ponder this: According to Matthew 24:29-30, The Lord’s THIRD coming to Earth will be FULLY VISIBLE! This raises the question whether He might allow full or partial visibility and the sound of His promised rapture of His resurrected and alive 4th age saints, onto the cloud as He is returning—Matthew 24:31? The purpose of His return, with all His saints from the first four ages of history will be to rule Earth as its Global King for a millennium—the Millennial Reign age! The purpose of His then immortal saints coming with Him, will be to facilitate His global, iron-rod authority across the Earth. As noted, Heaven’s Free Grace will no longer be available. Grace will need to be earned via obedience to His righteous commands.
