Age-ending Stock-taking (4th Age)

4th Age Genesis 6 Equivalent

The Bible, history, human nature, and current events, together,
give us more than adequate information to guesstimate
the age-ending conditions in the 3rd-through-6th ages.
Come along as I imagine their ‘Genesis 6 equivalents’.

 

¹ Now it shall come to pass, as the judgments of the 4th age intensify, that multitudes will cry out under the weight of plagues, persecution, and confusion caused by the final anti-Christ leader (the beast), and the apocalypse he will have triggered.

² The saints who remain—those not yet martyred—will look upon the beast’s systems of the world with fear and trembling. Some will resist; others will compromise, taking the mark of the beast to preserve their lives.

³ And The Lord will say, ‘My witnesses have prophesied, My judgments have fallen, and yet many refuse to repent. The time of My wrath is nearly complete, for satan has empowered the beast and his false prophet to perform lying signs and miraculous wonders, to deceive all who dwell on the Earth.’

⁴  They are the 4th age giants—of deception and temptation, who corrupt and consume the entire Earth.

⁵ And The Lord will see the fully-matured iniquity of mankind, that every remaining heart, not sealed by Him, delights continually in rebellion and wickedness.

⁶ He will be grieved that such a relative few responded to His Gospel, preached by His 144,000 witnesses, and by angels in mid-heaven.

⁷ Therefore, at the appointed time, The Lord will come, not in silence but in power and blazing GLORY, with all His holy ones and the armies of Heaven behind Him.

⁸ But a remnant—hidden, refined, and righteous—shall be spared and will see His appearing with joy. These will be those who will have overcome by the blood of The Lamb and the word of their testimony.

⁹ Their faith shall be tested by fire, their garments washed white through persecution. They shall cling to the commands of God and to the testimony of Jesus.

¹⁰ And in the end, many among them, both Jew and Gentile, will inherit the Earth, to govern it during Messiah’s Millennial Reign.

¹¹ Before that time, the Earth will be filled with blasphemy and blood. Thus, The Lord will launch His long-promised apocalypse, to make humans rare upon the Earth.

¹² His plagues will endure 42 months upon the Earth, each one with increasing intensity, impacting people, land animals and plants, and the entire eco-system. Thus, He will lay siege upon the whole Earth and upon every nation that follows the beast—the man of sin whom satan will control. No national or global system of governance shall be left untouched by The Lord's assaults on the gross wickedness of mankind. 

¹³ Immediately after the worst quake ever on Earth, at the end of the apocalypse, The Lord will lead Heaven's armies--His redeemed, immortal saints from the first 3 ages of human history, along with all His angels, to conquer all the Earth. En route, He shall reap the Earth of every 4th age saint—resurrecting those who are dead, and raising them along with those who remain alive, to join in His arrival.

¹⁴ With a Word from His mouth, He shall defeat the armies of all nations gathered together to confront Him at Armageddon, in Israel. Where they stand, their flesh shall dissolve, and their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets. Then He shall cast the beast and his false prophet into the brimstone-lit lake of fire. He shall command an angel to bind the dragon--satan and his entire kingdom, in a bottomless pit, preventing them from deceiving and tempting the nations for a thousand years.

¹⁵ Immediately after Armageddon, The Lord shall establish His Kingdom, headquartered in Jerusalem, which shall be raised up high from the final earthquake of the apocalypse. There, He shall govern all the Earth with justice, equity, and truth. He will orchestrate rehabilitation of Earth's desolate places. From His immortal saints, He will appoint rulers at every level of governance across the world, to govern the post-apocalypse world with righteousness, and His iron rod authority—a forced peace among the nations.

¹⁶ From Jerusalem, His laws shall go forth, and His every Word shall be honored and obeyed in all the Earth. He will restore His 1st age herbivore diet across the world; restore peaceful, 1st age relationships between people and animals; and restore a pure language among all peoples—thus reversing the Tower of Babel language diversification curse. 

¹⁷ The Lord will command every Jew worldwide to migrate to a significantly-expanded Israel, where David will be their King. The Earth shall enjoy her 'millennial sabbath', resting from the curse of human sinfulness. Yet, memory of the apocalypse shall remain only for a few centuries.

¹⁸ Survivors of the apocalypse will have received 'the mark of the beast' in their flesh. They will sow the seeds of successive generations, and eventually die in accordance with 3rd and 4th ages life spans. However, their off-spring will enjoy increasingly long life spans--the results of living in a clean Earth environment, free from the curse of sin.

¹⁹ The Lord will command all nations to appoint representatives to attend His annual Feast of Tabernacles—in remembrance of how He graciously sustained and protected ancient Israel during its 40-year wanderings in the Wilderness of Sin. Those assemblies shall celebrate and honor Jesus as The Gracious Lord God, Almighty.

²⁰ The wolf shall lie down with the lamb, and a child shall play by the hole of the cobra; for the Lord shall have removed the enmity from creation.

²¹ Yet, He shall rule with a rod of iron, for sin human nature will remain in the hearts of people born during this age.

²² Thus shall the 4th age close, and the 5th age begin with the return of Jesus as King over all the Earth. Thus shall Earth and all thereon benefit from the peace He and His entourage shall enforce.
