Arming for Armageddon (Poem)

Shhh...

Here’s something I think the world doesn’t know:

As arms cascade, and armies parade,

Show-casing arms, they’ll use against foes,

They’re arming for what Scripture portrays.

 

It’s earthly foes, they all have in mind,

As new weapons, they crave, then design.

They speak in terms, their foes to malign,

Like young bullies act, in ways benign.

While to trigger fears, may be their aim,

They stir-up their foes, to bite the bait--

An armaments race, that’s grows insane!

Then economies start to INFLATE!

 

While it’s earthly foes, they have in mind,

It’s alien foes, unknowingly,

These armies will face, against mankind—

Heaven’s mixed armies, with folks like me! ¹

 

Like ‘hooks in their jaws’, they will be drawn,

To Jezreel valley in Israel,

Not knowing age 5 will just have dawned.

These armies will see, JESUS IS REAL!

 

By blazing GLORY, they will be awed,

And that their weapons have no effect!

Uttering a Word, He’ll prove He’s GOD.

With dissolved bodies, that valley flecked. ²

 

From these shocking scenes, see this with me:

--That verdant valley, MORE fertilized!

--From armies and arms, Earth will be FREE! ³

Millennial Reign, Christ GLORIFIED!!
