Our BIGGEST Problem! (poem)

Asking a few people, ‘What might be the single, BIGGEST problem of humanity?’ might trigger a wide variety of responses. It’s not national leaders, some ethnic groups, or a set of global problems like nuclear annihilation, global warming/climate change, or another global pandemic. Asking what it might be from Heaven’s perspective, the scope might be narrowed considerably, but might not get to the seed problem I perceive:

Our likely BIGGEST core problem is our

genuine failure to understand

Heaven’s GRACE.

 

We may love to sing, ‘Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound’. But whoever stops to  think, ask, and search for answers to these questions?

 

•  What IS the sound of Grace—just verbalizing the word?

•  What makes GRACE so amazing?!

Just knowing some definitions or examples of GRACE, does not necessarily equate to understanding it—especially from Heaven’s perspective—which none of us can do fully. The Bible is the best source for that insight. From Genesis-to-Revelation, it is essentially a host of didactic examples from which Heaven intends us to:

 

Read, study, meditate, re-read, learn and finally,

UNDERSTAND what it is, what is its core intent, and

its respective and ultimate benefits, durations, and consequences.

 

The Bible is essentially a book of Lessons About Grace. As such, our failure to embrace and learn these lessons is very likely…

 

The single, BIGGEST PROBLEM of humanity?’

 

Why? From and because of The Lord’s Heart of Grace, everything from which we benefit flows, without exception. Revelation 22 reveals His Grace is our personal, time-bound opportunity to escape His promised, and our well-deserved, eternal judgment.

YES, Our BIGGEST Problem!

 

Most of us won’t learn to connect,

The Lord’s Grace-to-His lake of fire place!

Warnings He gave us, most reject.

Uninformed, they just abuse His Grace.

 

Some love to sing, ‘Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound’,

Yet ignore its purpose—what its sound says is true!

They stubbornly refuse to turn their lives around,

And ‘shut internal eyes’ to their eternal view. ¹

For their choice, those folks will pay a major price,

When before Him, one day, they each will stand.

Because in life they, rejected His advice,

From more of His Grace, they then will be banned.

 

In life, they won’t perceive the place un-paralleled,

Where, as sentient immortals, they’ll be cast.

In the company of all devils, death and hell,

In sulfur-lit fire, in a dry lake that’s VAST!

 

Oh, if only in this life, our ‘testing ground’,

More of us would learn, indeed, Grace has a sound,

A clear purpose and time limit that’s life-bound,

Unless we embrace what it offers—a crown! ²
