In Part 1, I posit a parallelism between the family of Isaac, the son The Lord had promised to Abraham, and the ‘family’ of the UK, France, the US and India. That’s quite a unique comparison, indeed! Just as The Lord had earlier promised to bless Abraham and his seed, He also, promised to bless Isaac, both before he was born, and later, as an adult. Subsequently, Jacob had a personal encounter with The Lord. It is safe to presume these men faithfully informed and instructed their sons of the promise of The Lord’s blessings.
Concluding Part 1, I noted the UK played ‘a unique role in hegemon protocol’. I also pondered why is it still around, playing significant roles on the world scene, while all previous hegemon nations had either disappeared into the annals of history, or have faded to mere shadows of their erstwhile status.
‘What are your points, J!’, you may be asking, ‘…and how do they relate to the above-noted modern day nations?’ Here’s my first point:
Upon receiving ‘quasi-Gospel’ blessings,
These men passed it along.
In its global, hegemon pressings,
The UK was first to spread the Gospel, headstrong! 1
The UK was the first nation ever, that came closest to achieving true GLOBAL HEGEMON status in history!!! Its empire covered more territory than any previous hegemony nation. Take a moment to let that sink in…
It is significant to note the UK achieved this status during the 2nd millennium of this 3rd age of human history—the age of The Lord’s Grace to all nations and peoples, not just to ancient Israel and Judah. In Matthew 24:14 and Mark 13:10, Jesus predicted His [Protestant] Gospel ‘will--must be preached in all the world, as a witness to all the nations, and then the end [of this current, 3rd age] will come.’ Ergo, it is very safe to conclude The Lord may have appointed the UK to achieve global hegemon status, in order for its motivated Protestant missionaries, to RAMP-UP achievement of His prediction. Later, when the UK lost its global hegemon status in 1945, the baton was passed along to the U.S. to ‘continue that job’. Motivated Protestant missionaries across the U.S. have since undoubtedly exceeded what the UK achieved in this regard. Mind you, every remaining one of Heaven’s declared objectives for humanity will be achieved, even if they must 'ride the waves' of our sinful motives and deeds, just as has happened all across history!
Now that part of the unique hegemon protocol role of the UK in the prophetic calendar is clear, let’s address my second point noted above—why is the ‘the parent’ of America’, still around, playing significant roles on the world scene?
In The Decline and Fall of Global Hegemons, I review the core factors that apparently led to the collapse of historical global hegemon nations, with a view to understanding:
1. Discernible patterns across the ages of human history,
2. If any, whether and how the U.S. might fit in, and
3. Whether there might be some key lessons to be derived for, and hopefully learned by the U.S. and future hegemon nations.
The review reveals 3 prominent factors that generally led to the decline and fall of those nations:
Economic over-extension/heavy debt,
Internal moral collapse, and
Foreign pressures/wars.
NB: THE UK IS A NOTABLE EXCEPTION in that it apparently did not suffer significant, internal moral degradation leading to its collapse as a hegemon. For sure, all nations have been/are desperately un-righteous before The Lord God Almighty! Nevertheless, The Bible sketches His plan to use these nations strategically, to achieve His long-term objectives for humanity. My first point above demonstrates this point clearly, and it triggers the question whether the UK’s role in spreading the Protestant Gospel of Jesus Christ, may have influenced its moral character at home, ergo helping to stave off internal moral corruption that bedeviled all prior hegemon nations??
Ponder this…
Might the UK be destined to join other nations to play yet another unique role, during the early months of the 4th age—the 7-year tribulation age that will be dominated by the final anti-Christ global leader?
Daniel 7 predicts a 10-nation alliance will form, 3 nations of which will be subdued, and rooted out of the alliance after the final anti-Christ leader is revealed, and begins to consolidate his global power and influence. There are many theories and concepts that attempt to interpret this prophecy, most of which are Euro-centric, targeting core remnants of the Roman Empire. In light of the above insights, I figure …there’s room for one more! ;o). Here’s what I ponder.
What if… Europe’s top 3 nations with the longest Protestant experiences, may be the 3 nations the anti-Christ leader will subdue, and root out of his early alliance, leaving him with 7 nations he will prefer to retain—Europe’s top nations with the longest Catholic experiences? Here’s a list of those nations today:

Of course, no one in this 3rd age fully comprehends this prophecy. Its full meaning will only become clear in context of the ‘news events of that coming day’. If/IF my intuitions might be a plausible, here’s a possible rationale behind such a choice.
What if… in the anti-Christ’s eyes, 3 of the 10 allied nations will quickly become more trouble than they’re worth, threatening his power-consolidation objectives? The 3 above-noted nations have deep, historical, stubborn histories of resisting centralized religious and political control. In the aftermath of The Lord’s promised 3rd age resurrection/rapture event, many former Christ followers will be shockingly awakened to the fact that …they missed it! Most of them might retain some Biblical insights about ‘what will happen next’, triggering a surge of people to rush back to aggressive faith in Christ. If so, they will likely be aware of the horrible, pending persecutions Jews and Christians alike, will face in the ensuing years. Believers in these 3 nations, may begin to warn others, and then push back against the agenda of this newly emerged, global leader. As predicted, he will be performing miracles to ‘WoW the whole world’, demonstrating his impressive problem-solving abilities. If so, their growing resistance movement will be a prophetic victory from Heaven’s perspective! But from the anti-Christ leader’s perspective, it will be a dangerous crack in his coalition, one he will move swiftly to seal, by subduing those nations—effectively reducing the size of his coalition going forward. 2
Today, the notion of a large-scale, religiously-driven political defection would seem far-fetched from a purely secular perspective. But an across-the-world resurrection-rapture event, would be a major trigger that makes it plausible, because it would instantly validate many things former 3rd-age Christians will have once heard, …but ignored! 3

1 Genesis 3:15 is the first Gospel promise. Throughout the Old Testament, this ‘good news’ promise was elaborated in various forms, including The Lord’s promises to these men and their descendants through whom He would be born as a man, and of a virgin.
2 Since the Protestant Reformation, national leaders with totalitarian ambitions have found Protestant-based societies more difficult to co-opt, than Catholic or secular societies. Historically, strongman authoritarians have preferred more compliant populations.
