Judgment of Delusions (Poem)

When to God’s Truth, you turn your back and walk away,

And to ‘alternative truths’ you decide to drift,

He won’t ‘pitch a fit’ and say, ‘You’ll come back someday!’ 

He’ll respect your exercise of …His free will gift. 

 

With Truth rejecters, He has LOTS of experience,

And He knows their beginnings and their endings.

He may send someone your way, in His benevolence,

To share warnings of dangers that are pending.

 

After that, He and all His angels aglow,

And His prophets who are in your midst,

Into their eerie silent mode, will then go,

As around fake news, your mind will twist. 

 

You might think their deafening silence,

Suggests, to your departure from Truth,

You have their collective concurrence.

Thus, your conscience may be somewhat soothed.

 

The Bible tells us a different story,

Not of you ‘turning your back’ on Heaven’s Truth Book,

But Heaven turning its back …on you! You see,

Its silence means, for deep delusions, you’ve been booked!! ¹

 

Like a downward spiraling hole, that’s hard to escape,

By delusions, your thought processes will be reshaped. 

You’ll be gullible to whatever devils dictate,

Because on their territory, all things fake, are GREAT! 

 

Over to a reprobate mind, you will have been turned,

Until Heaven’s next move for you that will be pending.

You see, your being deluded because Truth you’ve spurned,

Gives Heaven time to prepare …your judgments upending!!

 

Think of it as a two-step judgment process:

The first step is judgment of deepening delusions.

They’re a mere prelude to the real deal, unless,

Back to Heaven’s Truth, you return, awakened. 

 

When ‘fake gods of un-truth’, you persist in worshiping,

Rest assured, during your 'escapade of Truth omission',

It is with demon gods you will be fantasizing!

You’ll be slammed with Heaven’s judgment(s) of overt oppression!!

Tell me, why do we learn the lessons of judgments,

Only after we have been judged, personally?!

The ‘gene’ to learn from others’ judgments …is absent!

Thus, God keeps judgments in …human pedagogy! ²

¹ A delusion is a belief that is clearly false, and that indicates an abnormality in the affected person’s content/processes of thought. The false belief is not accounted for by the person’s cultural or religious background or his or her level of intelligence. The key feature of a delusion is the degree to which the person is convinced that the belief is true. A person with a delusion will hold firmly to the belief regardless of evidence to the contrary. A deluded person is absolutely convinced that the delusion is real! (Understanding Delusions)

² Which is worse: Judgments of overt physical oppression, or cloaked judgments of mental and spiritual delusion? Biblically, the latter comes first. Overt oppressions are undeniable! But deep delusion won’t be recognized by those who are trapped in its clutches. Think of the judgment of delusion as ‘silence from Heaven’, as it patiently prepares promised, physical punishments upon folks who will have l-o-n-g rejected its Truth. It’s equivalent to parents ‘throwing up their hands’ after exhaustive efforts to train head-strong, errant children who are ‘hell-bent on doing things their own ways, no matter what, or who says otherwise!’ 

Of ancient Israel and Judah, The Lord declared: ‘Just as they have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations, so will I choose their delusions, and bring their fears on them; because, when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, they did not hear; but they did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight.’ (Isaiah 66:3-4)

 

And before the pending apocalypse, the worst, longest judgment ever on humanity, Apostle Paul predicts: ‘God will send folks strong delusion, that they should believe the lie [of the final anti-Christ man], that they all may be condemned who did not believe The Truth [of God’s Word and warnings], but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12)
