The world is blind to these SEVEN, pivotal facts:
1. The Bible communicates Heaven’s 'multi-millennial, strategic plan for humanity'.
2. There are SEVEN ages appointed for humanity.
3. We are nearing the end of the THIRD age, a pivotal turning point in this strategy.
4. A GREAT falling away from the Christian faith is predicted during the ending days of this THIRD age, as a result of backsliding and general lukewarmness among the heretofore faithful. Look around and this you will clearly see.
5. Biblical prophecies have been and remain seeds of human history.
6. Yet-fulfilled prophecies, unfolding apace, are worthy of diligent study.
7. Now is the time to get and stay on ‘the right side of Bible prophecy’.

ReplyDeleteThis week, Arizona was legally prohibited from enforcing the state's ban on same-sex marriage. As our world turns, I struggle to maintain my focus on the distinction between civil law and moral law. Thanks for your comment, blessings, J!
DeleteI had to stop what I was doing to comment on this, I'm not surprised with the ban on AZ, it just goes to show we've got to be more careful who we put into these offices, then again it's a sign of the times, and we as Christians need to stand up, and call sin what it is sin, actually the word calls homosexuality an abomination, anyone that gets offend by that comment don't get mad at me, take it to God. J I like your comment, and analogy.

Re. being more careful about whom "we" put in office, I struggle to keep in mind promotion comes from The Lord (Psalm 75:6) who sovereignly directs and controls the affairs of life. I ask myself, if/since the heart of the king is in the hands of The Lord (Proverbs 21:1), are the hearts of us 'lesser beings' no challenge for The Lord to direct, in fulfillment of His higher purposes? (Proverbs 16:9). Ahhhhhh, the Sovereignty of The Almighty!! Who can comprehend it? Yet I have been given The Mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16). Conundrums abound in this walk of faith. DeleteWhen the quality of moral leadership is poor, objectivity is lost ….no identified destination but, still, one may remain up busy. I am very worried that people are perishing in the cause of “freedom and human rights". Homosexuality is immoral and really undercuts the essence of life.
