The Covenants' Cries (Part 1)

Nations forsake their Heaven handshake...

Eight centuries ago, the Magna Carta declared no man—no king—stands above the law. That powerful declaration wasn’t just a political breakthrough. I perceive it as The Lord’s Grace and Mercy, firmly planted into our 3rd age history, possibly in response to the fast-paced march to total tyranny during the 2nd and early 3rd ages. Since its adoption, The Lord has preserved the document, and expanded its concepts, through war, weather, and time.

Centuries later, the U.S. Constitution gracefully echoed that sacred restraint—declaring that government exists, not to rule, but to serve, bound by written limits and moral law. It drew deeply from the Magna Carta’s well, fusing earthly justice, with heavenly accountability. It has become a model for other nations across the world. Like the Magna Carta, The Lord has preserved our constitution and its priceless concepts through wars, weather and time.

But today…

For the first time in its ~250 history, the USA, to the shock of many across the country and the world, at large, is betraying both of these erstwhile, long-respected documents, and the core principles they represent. I don’t recognize my country anymore~

Our constitutional clauses—’covenants of freedoms’, have suddenly become relics in paths of power consolidation. Leaders at various levels manipulate their intentions, and reformulate their  limits. Courts twist their meanings. Executives at various levels of governance challenge and/or ignore them outright. And the oaths sworn to uphold our constitutional covenant, now serve as platforms for controvertible curtailments!

I perceive the recent discovery of the 7th original Magna Carta at Harvard University, may not be coincidental. In concert with many relevant, Biblical patterns and shocking reversals, I perceive this discovery is Heaven’s rebuke to the so-called leading nation in the world! Moreover, in context of numerous predicted, age-ending precursors, I intuit this rebuke may well be a stark precursor to America’s fall as ‘the’ global hegemon—Heaven’s judgment of her tenure in that Grace-given role.

     1. Discernible patterns across the ages of human history,

     2. If any, whether and how the U.S. might fit in, and

     3. Whether there might be some key lessons to be derived for, and           hopefully learned by  the U.S. and future hegemon nations.  

 

This review traces the steady East-to-West progression of global hegemons from ancient Babylon, to the USA. This progression is exactly what The Lord pictured in a dream given to Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar, some years after his conquest of ancient Judah and Jerusalem in 586 BC. (See: Daniel 2) What’s noteworthy in this dream and its interpretation by the prophet, Daniel, is the lack of any indication of further westward progression of global hegemon nations after the remnant nations of the Roman Empire, represented in the dream by the legs of iron. Interestingly, each global hegemon (Babylon, Medo-Persia/Persia, Greece, Rome, and the UK) fell after betraying core principles that once anchored its legitimacy.

What should these insights above, and Scriptures below

 signify about, and suggest to America???

 

1. Betraying Covenants

The Earth is also defiled under its inhabitants; because they have [wilfully] transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. (Isaiah 24: 5)

 

2. Mocking God's Constraints

The kings of the Earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against The Lord, and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bands asunder, and cast away Their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. (Psalm 2:2–4)

 

3. Abandoning True Judgment

I will go unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of The Lord, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds. (Jeremiah 5:5)

Repetitive Patterns and Shocking Reversals (Part 2)

In Mid-ages Musings (Series), I shared a pivotal, perceived pattern that might plausibly apply during each of the 6 age-transitions The Bible indicates for humanity. The first two of these age-transitions are historical—from the pre-flood-to the-post flood age, and from the post-flood-to the-current-church age, the 3rd age of our history. I perceived each age-transition was/would be triggered by some type of global judgment from Heaven, a judgment that effectively ‘resets’ life on Earth in various ways, that is except the final, global judgme­­­­­nt, which will destroy both this current Earth, and heavens, and reveal a new, eternal Earth. (See: Earth’s Next Versions (Series))

 

Here's the age-transition pattern I intuited, based on strategic analysis of Biblical historical and prophetic passages:

 ­­­­

1. Humanity’s ‘cup of iniquity overspilling its rim’,

2. Righteousness on Earth figuratively ‘hanging by a thread’,

3. Age-transition precursors (pre-conditions) reaching their fullness, and

4. Silence from Heaven, dreaded or welcomed.

 

For people who are currently, and who in the future will be spiritually perceptive, and attentive to evolving world developments, this pattern should infer some important lessons in each of the ensuing ages. This pattern is presented from Heaven’s perspective, i.e., looking down on the Earth, just as The Lord apparently did, as recorded in Genesis 6. While His is the most important perspective, others are/will be in play—namely, that of humans, plus satan and his crew of demons and devils. 

 

So s-t-r-e-t-c-h your imagination to answer these questions:

 

o How, pray tell, would you imagine and translate this 4-point pattern, from satan’s perspective, e.g., as commands he might issue across his kingdom of devils, demons and compliant/captive humans? 

 

o How might such an exercise help to prepare you and others to discern the spiritual seeds and roots of current and future, global repetitive patterns, and shocking reversals??

¹ Imagine this…If, as I perceive, we may be close to the next, predicted, historical, age-transition (from this 3rd-to the-4th ages of history), then the current, global push to rebuild militaries and produce weapons, might be those that will be involved in either or both:

    o the 1st War of Gog and Magog (See: First Ukraine, then Israel’s Terrain? and Ezekiel 38), and

    o the Armageddon War at the end of the short ~7-year, 4th age—the tribulation age.

² The Bible has countless examples in which Heaven strategically planned and executed shocking reversals in human affairs, in order to achieve its strategic plans. Think… the exodus, the fall of Jericho, the Assyrian and Babylonian invasions and capture of Israel and Judah, the timely release of Judeans from 70 years of Babylonian captivity, the resurrection of Jesus exactly as He had predicted, the failed attempt to boil Apostle John alive in oil, etc. Future shocking reversals include the 1st War of Gog and Magog (unprotected Israel invaded), the Armageddon War (the world's armies dissolved instantaneously), the Millennial Reign (peace,  prosperity and abundance on the heels of the disastrous apocalypse), the post-Millennial Reign ages (all hell breaks loose globally), and the shocking resurrection (from hell's temporary fires) of the twin spirit and soul every dead unrepentant sinner, as fully tripartite and sentient immortal beings (spirit, soul and body), to be judged, only to be cast into the much worse, (bigger, hotter, more crowded??) permanent fires of eternal lake of fire, possibly somewhere on the new, eternal Earth!

Israel, The Lord’s ‘prophetic clock’ for the whole world--

77 years old -- a new era unfurls.

Perceptive hearts and minds ponder: What might this signify,

For our world, and the ‘shortening arc of history’? ¹

 

TODAY, May 14, 2025, is the 77th anniversary of the day

The Lord fulfilled what He predicted in Ezekiel 37!

He kept His Word!!!

With 80%+ of Biblical prophecies ‘in our rear view mirror’, answering the above question should be much easier than it was, say …a century ago! In Repetitive Patterns and Shocking Reversals (Part 1), I recommended doing your own cursory, AI-enabled, comparative review of the first quarters of the 20th and 21st centuries, to perceive any insightful patterns and/or stark distinctions of interest.

 

At this spiritually-significant transition point, most perceptive minds might focus on the so-called 70th week of Daniel’s vision ² My focus broadens to the convergence of two prophetic mid-points in history:

 

1. The mid-point in Ezekiel’s prophetic quadfecta—chapters 36-to-39, and

2. The mid-point of the predicted number of ages on Earth’s current version. 

 

1. Ezekiel’s Prophetic Quadfecta Mid-Point

 

The Book of Ezekiel is the 3rd of 4 major prophetic books in the Old Testament. The first 2 books (Isaiah and Jeremiah) were, respectively, written during the long run-up to, and the final implementation of The Lord’s predicted Babylonian invasion of Judah—His judgment on Judeans’ persistent, gross sinfulness. The last 2 books (Ezekiel and Daniel) were written during the 70-year captivity of a large Judean remnant in Babylon. Collectively, these 4 books outline major ‘near and distant’ predictions for both Israel, and the world. These predictions are supplemented in the remaining, so-called minor prophetic books of the Old Testament.

 

As noted in Missed Insights in Ezekiel (Series), Ezekiel 36-to-39 predicted the following significant points in Jewish history:

 

A. Chapter 36: The initial focus is on the exodus of captive Judeans, from Babylon, back to Palestine (the unstated, apparent strategic objective of which was to re-establish Jewish life there, in preparation for the birth of Jesus). This exodus became historical circa 538 BC, the last few centuries of the 2nd age. The remainder of this chapter focuses on the AD ages — the 3rd (still unfolding), 4th and 5th ages of history. 

 

B. Chapter 37: The exodus of exiled Jews, mostly from across Europe at the end of World War II, triggering the (1) creation of the modern state of Israel (rejoining previously separated Israel and Judah); and (2) establishment of ‘an exceedingly great army’—today’s Israel Defense Force (IDF). These predictions became historical on May 14, and May 26, 1948, respectively.

 

C. Chapter 38: The (pending) invasion of an exceedingly over-crowded, un-protected (no IDF) people, by a coalition army led by a nation ‘in the far north’ of Israel (today’s Russia), with no help from her allies. D. Chapter 39: Managing the horrendous after-effects of that invasion during the early months and years of The Millennial Reign age—the 5 age of history.

 

Astute minds will recognize this prophetic quadfecta covers FOUR ages of history—the 2nd-to the-5th ages. Since Israel’s birthday, the world has been balanced (teetering?) on a fulcrum at the mid-point of these 4, pivotal prophecies.

2. Current Earth-ages Mid-point

The Bible outlines what I regard as 7 ages of human history, the first 6 of which are on this current version of Earth, and the 7th, eternal age will be on a promised, new, eternal Earth. ³ According to every prophetic precursor I know, history is very close to the end of this current, 3rd age of history—the church age. Ergo, we are either rapidly approaching, or effectively at the mid-point of the predicted number of ages of history on this current version of Earth. Take no solace in this point. Here’s why.

 

The Bible indicates the cumulative number of years of the next 3 ages,

will be less than the cumulative number of years of our first 3 ages! ¹

Three nearly down, three more to go!!

3. Conclusion

 

No one knows for sure what Israel turning 77 years old at these 2 pivotal mid-points in history, might signify for global events in the near-term. Based on my strategic analysis of The Bible over the past 2 decades, this is what I perceive:

 

A. The number, 7, is strategically significant from The Lord’s perspective. Ergo, we should heighten our perceptivity to however He may move in the near-to-medium term. This is only achieved through constant prayer and meditation. Here’s my tip on how we can achieve His requirement to stay in constant prayer. 

 

B. The post-WWII world order the U.S. catalyzed in 1945, will be 80 years old this year. This order featured establishment of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD - World Bank in 1944), the United Nations (1945), and the General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs (GATT, in 1947). We have been witnessing increasing criticisms and the weakening of these institutions, plus louder calls for a ‘new world order’. The Lord may indeed respond to these calls, but not in the way folks expect! Let me know if you are aware of any Biblical predictions or preconditions to the pending 3rd-to-4th age transition that have not been on the global scene for many years. I know of none.

 

C. The Bible is The Lord’s inspired and preserved book for us, and might be a ‘human edition’ of His exhaustive, pre-written, ‘human history novel’, The Scripture of Truth book in Heaven. While that book is not available to us, its truths are steadily being released to us ‘at the speed of time’. Thus, the combination of Biblical and secular history, is our best key to intuit and expect the following:

 

(1) More of His declared, well-established, and persistently-demonstrated, strategic patterns in human affairs, and

 

(2) More of His shocking, reversal interruptions, tailored to get our attention and response to what concerns Him, especially when we downplay, and render His judgments ….ineffectual.

Eden Revisited - A Short Story

Have you ever pondered what might have happened

between the first two verses of Genesis 1?

 

Does reading Genesis 1 spark your curiosity about a seeming gap between the first two verses? Honestly, it’s quite a stretch for me to imagine The Lord creating anything in an imperfect form. I am not alone in wondering what may have happened between those first two verses. For sure, one day, we will understand it all in the so-called ‘by and by’. 

 

I recently wrote a short story, Eden Revisited, that answers the call of my imagination on this question. It reflects how I understand what many call ‘The Gap Theory’. Eden Revisited - A Short Story

 

By the way, in Romans 5:12, Paul wrote, 

 

Therefore, just as through one man [Adam],

sin entered the world, and death through sin, 

and thus death spread to all men [all people],

because all sinned.

 

There is an apparent missed insight among believers who point to this verse, and assert Adam’s sin ushered death into the world, i.e., in the Earth. They seem to omit two Bible facts that dispute their assertion:

 

     1. Eve sinned before Adam, and

     2. satan (ex-Lucifer) was in the garden, in the land of Eden,

         before Eve sinned.
