Dying in Disbelief (Poem)

In the distant and recent past...

Folks scoffed at words of ancient seers,

They dismissed warnings through their years.

Rejecting all The Bible claims,

To the end of their lives, they came.

But lo, the sands of time reveal,

Some prophecies that now are real!

If they could see what we now see,

Would disbelief from them, then flee?? 1

Now you who, in life, are still cast...

Foolish souls, who now trust in sight,

Don’t ignore faith's eternal light,

In this lifetime, that is so brief,

Embrace the gift of faith’s belief.

We’re blessed who trust in prophecies,

That on life’s stage, we don’t yet ‘see’.

We trust Him Who will determine,

When we’ll see what He has spoken. 2

Friends,

Shun hardened hearts; open faith’s eyes!

Disbelieve all devil-ish lies!

Then walk by faith, and not by sight,

Before you sleep in death’s …long night! 3

Gravestone or none for others to read,
Heaven’s records will not be deceived.

It’ll record if its Word you believed,

Or to Godly faith, you never cleaved.

¹ Imagine having a chat with someone who died, ardently disbelieving major Bible prophecies that became historical facts after he/she had died, i.e., before or during your lifetime.
Now imagine switching places with that person.
I trust my admonition to you is abundantly clear: Given The Bible's 80+% 'prophecy-to-historical facts' success rate, the odds are clearly against anyone who aligns his/her faith, to whether the few yet-fulfilled prophecies become factual in his/her lifetime. 

I hope you will sleep on that thought.

‘…And many of those who sleep in the dust of the Earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt,' -- i.e., in The Lord’s eternal lake of fire. (Daniel 12:2)

Jesus said, '…Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves, will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good [i.e., died in Godly faith], to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil i.e., died with no Godly faith], to the resurrection of condemnation’, i.e., in The Lord’s eternal lake of fire.  (Jesus spoke this in John 5:28-29.)

Our Truth, At the Speed of Time

During the mid-BC years, The Lord gave us some incredible presents. Most were in the form of prophecies between:

(a) the time when Israel (the 10 northern Jewish tribes) was invaded by Assyria, and many captives were transported to Assyria, and 

(b) the time when many captives from Judah (the 2 southern Jewish tribes) were in Babylon after its invasion of Judah.

Many of those prophecies have become historical facts, while others linger, awaiting ‘the fullness of their time’ to be fulfilled.

Yet there was a highly unique present that was, itself, not prophetic. That present was the revelation of the existence of a book in Heaven, called The Scripture of Truth. There is only one, brief mention of it in The Bible--during a conversation an angel had with the prophet, Daniel, a captive from Babylon’s invasion of Judah. The angel summarized a few, very detailed excerpts about distant future events ‘written in The Scripture of Truth’ book. Seemingly, this extremely unique book includes, not only ALL prophecies written in The Bible, but also the totality of human history!!!

So why might The Lord have allowed His angel to mention that book to Daniel? And why are there no other references to it in The Bible?? For sure, this is a perplexing present to humanity, one that has sparked LOTS of speculation and questions. It’s natural to presume that book is something utterly unknowable to us humans—a heavenly record so far beyond our comprehension, that it remains locked away, inaccessible -- outside of our grasp.

But what if such presumptions …are not true?!

Since He created humans, The Lord has demonstrated and articulated His deep, abiding desire for us, the apex of His physical creation …to KNOW HE IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!! A whopping 72 times, the phrase, ‘Know I am The Lord’ (or some variant of it), echoes across The Bible’s pages and ages! It is filled with thousands of unique, highly-specific prophetic seeds whose fruits prove only He, as The Lord God, can predict, and then ensure events He intends, become historical facts, in His manner and His timing. Yet most of us continue to discount Who He is, and many even deny His very existence! Honestly folks, that is the height of insult! Yet He has long-tolerated such abject insults from His highest creation beings… for now!

Though The Scripture of Truth book is only mentioned once in The Bible, uncloaking its existence suggests a different approach and tactic to achieving The Lord’s deep, abiding desire. How? The apparent, sheer level of ‘future soap opera-like, and conflict details’ therein, are a strong indication that this book literally ‘pre-scripts’ every unfolding detail of human history, since Adam! That far exceeds the ability to predict an individual event, and then enable it to become factual. I intuit The Scripture of Truth may well be: 

The Lord’s ‘massive, multi-millennial, MACRO version’,

of His ‘unique, highly-specific, ‘micro’ predictions’,

releasing His Truths ‘at the speed of time’--

 His one second, per second paradigm. 

If my intuition is correct, then the contents of that book are not entirely in-accessible to us. Rather:

(a)  History, itself, has revealed to us exactly what was written in that book, and

(b)  Our so-called present, is The Lord’s moment-by-moment unfolding of ‘the rest of our story’ -- His pre-written history of humanity being revealed to us…

 

…at the speed of time.

Why Would Russia Invade Israel? (Q&A)

 

Q: Curious why would Russia invade Israel?

 

A: Thanks for your question. Ezekiel 38’s prediction of this future event is indeed curious, and also challenging to comprehend. In several posts, I have addressed it from various perspectives. When Might the Invasion Occur?

This prophecy is the second in a ‘prophetic trifecta’, comprising Ezekiel 37, 39 and 39. The first prophecy in this trifecta -- the restoration of Israel as a nation, became a historical fact 77 years ago on May 14, 1948.The close, strategic sequencing between the second and third prophecies is a clear, strong signal that the invasion might during the tribulation age--the 4th Biblical age of our history, that will be followed by The Millennial Reign age – the 5th age of human history. (We are currently near the end of the 3rd predicted age.) The Bible signifies nations will initially be stressed from the impacts of the 6th seal global judgment event, then a few yeas later, even more severely stressed from the apocalypse. Many Bible scholars understand: (a) predictions in the last part of Daniel 9 signal the 4th age will only last about 7 years, and (b) predictions in Daniel 7 and 12 signal the apocalypse (described in Revelation 8–16) will break-out during the last 3½ years (~42 months) of that short age.

 

Note how the after-effects of the invasion are not described in chapter 38, but in the first two-thirds of chapter 39. This is strategically significant in that the last third of chapter 39 describes the early months and years of The Lord’s Millennial Reign, during which He will reign as Global King of all the Earth, with ALL of His then immortal, glorified [glowing] saints from the first 4 ages of human history, i.e., since Adam. This placement seems to align Russia’s predicted invasion of Israel, even closer to the start of The Millennial Reign age than one might typically imagine!

 

Why Would Russia Invade Israel at That Time??

Ezekiel 38:10-13 predict the physical/natural rationale for this invasion, and the weak responses from the rest of the nations, including Israel’s former allies, then incapable of coming to her aid. Russia, the physically largest nation on Earth, has historically pushed to acquire power to control more land, people, minerals, etc.. This push might be the foundation for its future decision to invade Israel at its predicted most vulnerable time since 1948. Now let’s consider the deeper, broader, spiritual context. 

In 2 Thessalonians 2, Apostle Paul reveals the tribulation age will begin sometime after the next, predicted resurrection and rapture of The Lord’s saints from the 3rd age of history. (See: Bible Raptures – Types and Timings (Series).) This event, along with other global pressures (e.g., climate change, mounting lawlessness, socio-cultural- political upheavals, precursor national strongmen governments, the demise of democratic norms, et al) will very likely shock all national and global systems for some time! In 2 Thessalonians 2, Apostle Paul signals this event will facilitate the rise of a strongman to substantial global power. This man is called ‘the anti-Christ’ and ‘the beast’ in The Bible. He will be endowed with satanic miracle working powers to address intractable global problems. His extremely prideful acts (e.g., declaring himself to be God Almighty) will trigger the apocalypse, during which The Bible predicts mortals and land animals will become ‘rare on the Earth’. Additionally, sea creatures will also be substantially reduced as Earth’s entire eco-systems suffer under the plagues. Life at that time will be unimaginably dire. 

 

Based on historical patterns, I intuit Jews might be blamed for the apocalyptic plagues, as they were blamed for causing severe stresses (a) across pre-exodus, ancient Egypt, (b) pre-WWI and (c) pre-WWII Europe. Why?? The Bible demonstrates satan and his crew of devils and demons hate Jesus, The Lord God, Whom they, as once holy angels, attempted to overthrow in a failed coup. But since they cannot strike back at The Lord, they target the ethnic group through whom He decided to be born as a man, to pay the price for our sins. (Revelation 12 depicts this point.) They also target The Lord’s true (not fake or Christianesque) followers. If/IF Jews might be blamed for global distresses, that might help to explain prophecies that Jews from across the world will flee to Israel in haste (like they left ancient Egypt in haste), and will spill-over into Gilead (northern Jordan) and Lebanon – something that’s unimaginable today!! The Bible further signals Israel might be somewhat protected during the apocalyptic plagues. This might be like how ancient Hebrews were protected in Egypt’s land of Goshen during the last 7 (of 10) pre-exodus plagues. At that time, The Lord promised He would ‘make a difference’ (!!!) between Egypt and her Hebrew slaves, as a means of demonstrating He, not Pharaoh, is God! If/IF so, imagine the reactions when other nations realize one nation is being sheltered from what they are suffering through! Why Russia? 

The Bible signals how satan’s kingdom on Earth is structured and works — powerful demons across Earth’s upper atmosphere influencing national level issues and leaders, and lower-level devils tempting regular people. Gog, possibly satan’s top demon, is featured as the main instigator in Ezekiel 38, and also in the final global, human rebellion Revelation 20. Apart from satan (ex-Lucifer), Gog is the only evil spirit The Lord personally addresses by name in all the books of The Bible!!! Ergo, I intuit Gog is likely satan’s #2 demon, akin to a 5-star general!

 

If Gog may NOW be, and WILL be assigned over the nation of Russia during the apocalypse, it is interesting to note a possible ‘promotion’ to a HUGE assignment, over ALL the nations of the world during ‘little while’, post-Millennial age of history – the predicted 6th and final age of human history on this current version of Earth. As noted, he will be the chief instigator of the final human rebellion against the likely only righteous people and things on Earth during that age. 

 

Get this: Revelation 20:7-10 predicts this final rebellion will target Jerusalem!!! I intuit that will be where vast amounts of wealth will have accumulated during Jesus’ thousand-year reign as Global King. It is likely that people from across the world will be currying favors from Him, BIG TIME! It is also worth noting Jerusalem is ‘the ONLY’ place on Earth The Lord ‘desires’. It’s worth pondering and meditating on WHY this is so. 

 

Ergo, The Bible sets the stage for Gog to be the principal, demonic instigator for two massive rebellions, both of which will target ISRAEL – (1) Russia’s Ezekiel 38 coalition invasion of Israel, and (2) the final, global invasion of the post-Millennial Reign saints, in Jerusalem. These two invasions will literally ‘sandwich’ The Lord’s Millennial Reign age! Imagine that! 

 

I trust this summary sheds some light on why The Bible predicts a Russia-led coalition will invade Israel. I intuit Russia’s coalition war in Ukraine, involving some mercenaries from across Africa, might be a type of practice run for its predicted, coalition invasion of Israel, also involving some participants from Africa.

When does history become…’history’? The apparent answer is after present events are in the past. But from the highest strategic perspective, history becomes ‘history’, when The Lord God either wrote the scripts of future events in His Scripture of Truth book, or spoke them as prophecy, directly or through His prophets. From His unique perspective, the past, present and future, are all NOW. From our human perspective, we …examine and echo the past, experience the present, and expect the future. Remember, our history, is ‘His-story’! 

 

In this light, let’s consider whether and how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, might correlate to its predicted coalition invasion of a future, defenseless, over-crowded Israel. This shocking prediction is gruesomely summarized in The Bible, Ezekiel chapter 38. 

Ezekiel 38 is the second chapter in what I call, a prophetic trifecta -- three successive chapters that elaborate, in one place, MAJOR prophecies that are otherwise iterated across the pages and ages of the Bible, like strategic puzzle pieces scattered on a table. To me, this signifies The Lord's keen desire for us seriously to perceive these chapters as PILLARS in His Multi-millennial Strategic Plan for Humanity! No longer blind, from sin unbound,

Storing Your Word inside of me,
