Pre-entry Purging Patterns (Part 2)

Part 1 reviews key examples of how The Lord applied/will apply His ‘pre-entry purging pattern’ to various types of groups across our history. Let’s review a more familiar pattern that He applies and benefits from types of purging that He, Himself, did/does not initiate. 

 

Sidelined Purging

 

Here is a rather curious affirmation Jesus made during His life as a man:

 

Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:34-39)

 

The Lord has a bifurcated ‘peace agenda':

 1. He first came to Earth as a human to create the opportunity for us to have eternal peace with God, through salvation. That opportunity creates potential spiritual schisms between us who embrace that opportunity, by faith, and those who reject it in doubt or disinterest.

2. His promised return as Earth’s global king in the Millennial Reign age, will bring a forced, iron rod peace. 

 

History reveals how The Lord benefits from select schisms that arise among us. Classic cases are how many of His prophets were previously sidelined by/from their associated groups. He subsequently anointed and appointed them to His prophetic service. Thus, I ponder whether the schisms they experienced may have been a type of pre-prophetic service purging. 

 

While we may typically associate the word, ‘prophet’, with the people who served as such during ‘Bible days’, the anointing and appointing of prophets may well be a repetitive pattern across each of the 6 predicted ages of human history! In Revelation 19:10, an angel said:

 

The testimony of Jesus is [the work of] 

The Spirit of Prophecy.

 

The Bible generally asserts and demonstrates that the lifestyles of The Lord’s saints should, in various ways, testify of Him. Ergo, all bona fide Christians in this current, 3rd  age… are, or should effectively be prophets. (See: Are You a Prophet (Bible Q&A))

 

Here are some examples of prophets who had earlier experienced schisms, and were sidelined by their associated groups: 

  o Noah preached righteousness (verbally and/or via his lifestyle), and was sidelined—raised above the mountains, after the last sinful generation of the 1st age rejected his message. The Lord used him to become the first prophet of, and ‘carrier of righteousness’ into the 2nd age. He lifestyle and testimony influenced his early descendants and many others to perceive and adhere to The Lord’s righteous requirements.
  o Joseph was violently vomited out of his family, and sold into Egyptian slavery. The Lord mightily used him to preserve many nations during a protracted famine. He rose to power as second to the pharaoh. He effectively became a ‘fore-type of Christ’.
  o Moses was vomited out of his adopted Egyptian family, and out of Egypt where he had been a prince. The Lord mightily used him as the most consequential prophet of the 2nd age, author of the first five books of The Bible, and powerful leader in forming a new nation (ancient Israel) and theology (Yahwism, which later became Judaism)
  o Jeremiah was utterly rejected and slandered by Judah’s leaders, then cast into a filthy dungeon before the Babylonian invasions that he and Isaiah had predicted. Yet he became a powerful, weeping prophet who wrote two books of The Bible, including the second longest prophetic book.
  o Daniel and Ezekiel were violently captured in Jerusalem, to become slaves in Babylon. Daniel rose to high leadership in both the Babylonian and Persian empires. Both became major prophets who, respectively, wrote the 3rd and 4th longest prophetic books of The Bible—preserved, read and studied across the ages.
  o Jesus Christ was ultimately rejected and vomited out of His people, Jerusalem, Judea, and the very world He had created. In His resurrection, He became the ‘first resurrection fruit’ to eternal life. Upon His return to Heaven, He received its highest honors (Hebrews 1-to-3) for having obeyed His Father’s command to pay the full price for every sin of people who, by faith, would embrace His sacrifice made on their behalf. 
  o Apostle Paul was vomited out of the Pharisees—his religious family—in which he had been a highly respected leader. The Lord used him to become the ‘3rd age Moses-type’, and writer of 13 or 14 New Testament books. He spearheaded the spread of a new theology and faith.
  o Apostle John was exiled to an island after Jewish leaders failed in their efforts to kill him. The Lord selected him to receive a vision that became The Book of Revelation, Heaven’s strategic insights about the last 3 (of 6) ages of human history on this Earth; and His predicted 7th, eternal age on a massive, brand new Earth.

In every case, The Lord and Heaven benefitted GREATLY from the schisms these people experienced because of their faith. 

Human bands and/or hands cast them out.

Divine will lifted them up to unimaginable 

figurative, physical, and spiritual heights!

 

A Personal Word

 

Remember: The Lord requires and has strategically planned for prophets across human history. In this 3rd age of Grace to ALL peoples, His bona fide saints are called to be His prophets who literally and lifestyle-wise, testify of Him. Thus, the presence or absence of any kind of schism that develops because of your faith, could possibly be the best indicator of the effectiveness of your calling. Ponder that...

 

The Lord‘s repetitive pattern turns what unbelievers reject, into Jewels in His Crown, and purposeful prophets in/of His patterns. Only when we allow His Holy Spirit, through us, to testify of Him (verbally and/or lifestyle-wise), might He use the schisms that our testimonies are designed to trigger, to further His Kingdom on Earth.
