The Last Army-like Church-types (Part 1)

The Church-types Reimagined (Series)  explains how The Lord applied a repeating strategic pattern to conceive, create, and commission successive ‘army-like church-types—both before and after the creation of humanity. Here’s the list as I perceive them:

1. An innumerable company of holy angels

2. Adam—and through him, humanity in general

3. Seth and his 1st-age righteous descendants ¹

4. Israel, as a set-apart “holy” nation

5. The post-cross, 3rd-age church ²

6. The tribulation, 4th-age church

7. The post-Millennial-Reign, 6th-age church

 

So far, The Bible and history show how significant parts of these early groups were unduly ‘re-imagined’—and therefore failed to honor The Lord’s commissions and commandments.

• Lucifer’s rebellion transformed a third of the holy angels into devils and demons on Earth.
• Adam’s sin condemned humanity, apart from redemption in Christ, to the lake of fire, prepared for those angelic rebels.
• Seth’s righteous line dwindled to one man by the end of the 1st age—Noah.
• Israel’s rejections—first of The Lord’s national purpose, and later of Him as Messiah—have produced (and will continue to produce) immense suffering, not only of Jacob’s descendants across multiple ages, but also among people who have similarly rejected Jesus Christ as payment for their sins.
• Slothfulness in the 3rd-age church (backsliding, lukewarmness, apostasy, and political extremism) has caused (and will continue to cause) many to perish eternally; and will cause many who are alive, to miss the pending resurrection/rapture of 3rd-age saints. ³ 

Take a moment to ponder the terrifying devastations

these re-imaginations have brought upon 

the majority of humanity to-date!

 

Based on the intensity of The Lord’s revealed emotional responses in Scripture, I intuit that significant parts of these groups have caused unimaginable harm—not only to humanity, but also to The Lord, personally, and to the timely achievement of Heaven’s objectives. ⁴ This notwithstanding, as the world inches toward the predicted, convulsive end of this current age, Heaven is preparing for its last two, planned, army-like church-types—the 4th and 6th ages churches. ⁵

 

While their histories are yet unsealed,

Bible prophecies to us reveal,

Why these groups may be the most faithful—

Of the 7, The Lord’s most fruitful.

⁴ Consider the severity and passionate intensity of The Lord’s complaints and threats across The Bible. Examples include: Genesis 6:5-8, Hosea 11:1–9, Ezekiel 16, Isaiah 1:2–15, Jeremiah 2:11–13, Ezekiel 6:8–10, Matthew 23:37–38, Psalm 95:8–11, and Ezekiel 39:21–29. 

⁵ Convulsive from the predicted results of The Lord opening the 6th seal on His scroll. These results may correlate with the resurrection and rapture of all deceased and alive 3rd age saints.
