Veracity of the Prophecy

Chapter 2 of The Book of Daniel is one of THE most significant prophecies in The Bible! In it, Daniel (a young Jewish lad who was captured during one of Babylon’s sieges against Judah) found the faith and boldness to approach his captor, Nebuchadnezzar, King of the Babylonian Empire, when doing so risked not only Daniel’s life, but the lives of EVERY wiseman in the kingdom! My, my…….

 

The king had a dream that greatly troubled him to the point that he could not sleep, then he forgot the details of the dream. So he summonsed all of the wisemen to recount the details of his dream to him. He promised them gifts, rewards and great honor if they could recount the dream. If not, he would have them all dismembered, and their homes burned. My, my, my…….

When none could do as the king demanded, he issued a decree and the slaughtering began. Please read the story to learn how Daniel literally saved the lives of the remaining wisemen by accurately recounting the king’s dream, and then went further to GIVE HIM THE INTERPRETATION THEREOF!!!! WOW~~~

 

Folks, this isn’t merely some nice story from antiquity! It is extremely relevant to us TODAY, because across the world, we are transiting a pivotal part of that prophetic dream! The above picture captures the essence of the dream—a massive statue whose body parts comprised of various minerals, from choice gold, to a curious mix of iron and clay. Those body parts represented a secession of global hegemons nations that would stretch across the latter part of the 2nd age (the post-flood age), and all of the 3rd age (the post-cross age) of human history. They would be of various sizes and strengths that would allow them to dominate increasingly larger parts of the world and its populations. History proves ‘the veracity of the prophecy’, down to the outline of world powers today—an evolving mix of a few strong nations, bullying and brutalizing much smaller nations and their peoples! 

 

Across the Internet, renditions of the statue in Nebuchadnezzars dream miss this crucial aspect that the dream infers: each successive hegemon nation would become stronger and more brutal than the prior ones. The Lord inspired me to try to capture that historical fact by increasing the physical mass and scale of each succeeding body part, culminating in feet that dwarf the head, just as modern global powers dwarf the geographical reach of ancient Babylon. Thankfully, the advent of AI picture generation (ChatGPT and Gemini) is available to help in that regard, but it was quite a struggle.

 

While the body parts are the major emphasis in the statue, I asked the Ais what might the connecting joints have signified, historically? They both agreed and demonstrated how, historically, the ‘joints’ played their crucial roles in the unique transitions from one hegemon to the next.

 

Hegemon nations across the 3rd age evolved from the former Roman Empire, the British Empire, and the short-lived USSR; to current U.S. and now China imperialism. This evolution is the direct manifestation of the iron within the iron-and-clay feet. The 2 big toes of the statue, comprised of iron and clay, likely signified strength of these nations, 

iron representing their strength, and clay representing their internal weaknesses.

 

Just as today’s nations are, in various ways, ‘remnants of Rome’, The Bible predicts they will devolve into a short-lived global regime in the 4th age. Daniel 7 seems to hint that an initial 10-nation coalition might quickly be reduced to a 7-nation coalition under the predicted anti-Christ’s leadership. If so, take some time to ponder what that might signify for today’s hegemon nations. See my intuitions here.  

 

The most crucial insight for us today is the stone cut out without hands, that will strike the feet, and cause the entire system of human governance to crumble and be blown away. While we do not know whether this stone will effectively be hurled in the 3rd or 4th ages, this we do know: It will be preparatory to The Lord’s long-promised Millennial Reign—the pending 5th age of our history.

 

No matter how strong and brutal today’s hegemons may seem to be, in The Lord’s manner and timing, they will fail! That is guaranteed, prophetically, and is pattern-assured, historically. Each of us has ‘a front row seat’ to perceive evidence of their fall, and the approaching demise of all human governance on Earth. As we do, keep this in mind: 

 

The statue dream and its indicated historical progression

may not indicate the ‘connective tissue’ between current hegemon nations, 

and Jesus Christ’s Millennial Reign in the 5th age! 

 

The ‘connective tissue’ is the predicted 4th age—the tribulation age. The Bible indicates it will only last 7 years, and will be divided into 2 halves of 42 months. The first half will be when the final anti-Christ man will quickly rise to global influence and power. The last half will be the apocalypse. I intuit the anti-Christ will restore a temporary peace, and may facilitate global recovery from the shock of The Lord’s promised resurrection and rapture of all His bona fide 3rd age saints. ‘What shocks??’, you may be wondering. Ponder this:

might be part of that resurrection/rapture event??
