Looking anywhere into our past, what do you see?
Then peering into The Bible, of this fact, be assured:
Human history is the fruits of its prophecies!!
So since we’re ‘smart’, what does this infer about ...our future??
For you who’re ‘so much smarter than most’, this you might conclude,
‘Blah, blah, humbug! That’s just a bunch of jibber-jabber!’
If in probability you’re skilled, you won’t self-delude.
You’ll perceive my point isn’t just some ole ‘Bible blabber!’
Show me prophecies that haven’t come true, historically.
Use any logic you may have, scientifically,
And insights into people, socio-culturally,
I’ll show you ‘paths’ on which they’ll come true, strategically.
I will prove my points with historical and current day trends,
To show some yet-fulfilled prophecies are ‘ around the bend’.
And the few remaining prophecies that prophets of old penned,
Are exactly the future events that The Lord God intends.
You see, I’m believing His ‘Bible batting average’,
Will remain the same, and over time will not diminish.
I’m also believing His ‘precious, promised privilege’,
To witness how, where and when, what’s left, He will accomplish.
Whether in this life, or in my promised immortal state,
I’ll have ‘a front row seat’ to what The Lord will unfold.
But if, in His promises, you don’t have any such faith,
In the ‘heat of hades’, what He does, you won’t behold!
Here’s the main point of my poem, its conclusion:
Disbelieve Bible prophecies at your eternal peril.
Since Jesus loves us, He’ll respect our delusions,
Though He very well knows, to us, they are baneful.
History depicts, what prophecy predicts~
