Across The Bible, prophecies are strewn.
In every book, that’s what I clearly see.
Believed by a few, but by most, impugned.
The Lord points: Prophecies will …prove it’s Me!
By prophecies, I issue clear commands,
For angels to shape futures that will be.
In My time and way, folks will understand,
My prophecies are ‘crops’ …I alone seed!
By prophecies, I give invitations,
In all ages of human history,
For all folks to form imaginations,
Then wait for them to become …proofs of Me!
In hearts of My faithful, FAITH will arise.
In all others, devils sow seeds of weeds!
On them, ‘doubt fertilizer’ is applied.
Both groups will see FRUITS from …My planted seeds!
By that, the wise will perceive, and will learn,
To reshape their lives with expectancy.
By that, no fool will believe, but will spurn,
The point that, …from Me, prophecies proceed!
Peering into the future, folks envision unfolding plots.
With eyes that can only ‘see’ poorly.
Reviewing history, they don’t perceive or connect the dots.
They should, but don’t see …it’s ‘My-story’! 1
But there’s a completely different perspective,
When, into the future, My faithful and wise take a peek.
They can envision this ‘prophetic prospective’:
My yet-fulfilled prophecies are …the promises I’ll KEEP!
When folks like J! testify of Me, dutifully,
Though what they share about Me is not written, Scripturally,
They are My contemporary prophets, spiritually!
Here’s how:
Their testimony of Me is …The Spirit of Prophecy! 2
Since to read, and then try to understand My ancient texts,
There’s little interest in the closing days of ‘age #3’, 3
Why not listen to what My Spirit, through them, will reflect?
Ponder their points, then, for what I’ll do, just …wait and you will see!
Whether you are alive or dead when I will ‘do it’,
I’ll make sure you’ll know what they said was of, and from Me.
You see, as The Lord, there’s no limit to My Spirit.
In My time and way, you will know. That’s My guarantee! 4

4 Jesus strategically uses prophecies of events in the near and distant futures, to prove He is The Lord God Almighty, Who is fully capable to do what no other being can ever do – i.e., perfectly predict prospective proceedings. In fact, He has regularly challenged all other so-called gods in contests to see what they can predict in advance, and then later, make their predictions become factual events. No so-called gods ever accepted His awesome challenge, as they are not gods at all, so He says. thus proving He ALONE is The Lord God Almighty, Creator and Sustainer of all things that exist.
