The Lord’s Word to Rev. John T. Davidson & Family

(...on the passing of their beloved, Paulette)

To you, John, my son, and you, Paulette, my daughter,

I knew you both, well before …you were,

In recesses of My Spirit, stirred.

There I had appointed your mothers and fathers. ¹

 

To your dads’ seed, I pointed My finger,

And you each became the substance I ‘foresaw’,

According to My spirit-to-substance law,

By which I create, and never falter.

 

At your births, My angels and I rejoiced greatly,

As we shared in all the joys of your parents.

As you grew from babes-to-toddlers, then enfants,

I bestowed Grace to sustain your journeys safely.

 

When you embraced me as your Savior,

And into my ‘elect’ you were baptized,

By your strong embrace, I was not surprised.

That’s the results of my Grace favor.

 

It was my Grace that led you to meet each other,

During your time at Lincoln University.

There you both shared your strong faith, unfalteringly,

And committed to live holy, without blunder.

 

I greatly rejoiced to meet you at the altar,

Where, in holy matrimony, you did unite.

There, our strong three-fold cord was formed for your life’s fight,

You, John and Paulette, and Me, your guiding North Star. ²

 

Throughout the years since then, in you both I delighted.

In your choices of careers, and births of your children,

In all, you upheld the banner, Devoted Christians.

To bless you with children’s children, I was excited!

 

You see…

In children, it’s Godly offspring I desire,

To give, in life, glory to My Name.

This requires parents who shun sin’s games,

And who will model lifestyles that I admire. ³

 

I designed life on Earth as mankind’s vast proving ground.

There I search hearts and test minds, uncloaking things hidden therein.

And thus I am making apparent each person’s …life’s kingpin,

Whether in righteousness or wickedness they abound. ⁴

 

Then, when their life is over, before Me each one will stand.

To know whether on their results, I will smile or frown,

To give a crown of righteousness, or to cast them down,

To fellowship with Me forever, or from Me be banned.

 

Paulette Davidson, My very good and faithful servant,

Now wears her well-earned, glorious crown of righteousness.

So rejoice with her, though hearts may be filled with sadness.

Her ‘testing days’ are over, and with Me, she is present! ⁵

 

My keen desire is that, to all whose testing days continue,

Her life remains as a beacon of righteousness,

Of how to approach and pass My tests with somberness.

So one day with her, they all can enjoy …a sweet rendezvous.

Benefits of Timely Judgments (Poem)

It is a fearful thing to fall into the 

Hands of The Living God.

(Hebrews 10:31)

 

Judgments! My, O my, what a harsh sounding word.

We shudder at the thought of it being applied to us,

As our thoughts race to review the ways we’ve erred.

Yet when it’s applied to ‘deserving others’ among us,

How our thoughts are …considerably altered!

We’re ‘glad it’s them’, and of our bad, we are soooo not conscious.

 

But just like a well-pruned tree, judgments have many benefits,

If in a timely manner they’re administered.

From personal experience, that I learned and must admit,

When into my life, The Lord’s judgments were ushered.

To four benefits I perceive considerable credits,

So I’ll share them with you. Tell me if you concur.

 

First are ‘shame-related, course-correction opportunities’.

Grace from The Lord is designed ‘to lead us to repentance,’ ¹

But when it doesn’t, we’re then in line for His judgment miseries.

If He delays, ‘Watch out!’ He’ll give more Grace, time and patience,

‘Investments’ in your desired repentance possibilities.

But with no shame, there’re no morals, no judgment deterrents! ²

 

Bless The Lord for shame and course-correction opportunities!

Can you imagine this ole world without these?!

They often come from His timely judgment generosities.

But in thanks for such, we don’t fall on our knees!

May He open our shut eyes to His Grace-filled propensities,

And enable us to perceive what He sees.

 

Second, there is Grace to avoid a cataclysmic fall!

Since pride is the taproot of each and every sin,

It only takes a bit to start, then things quickly snowball!

When Grace is protracted, we think, ‘Hey, I can win!’

Without repentance, pride blinds us to our pending downfall,

And to the ‘ice we’re on’ that’s increasingly …thin.

 

Bless The Lord for Grace to avoid disastrous downfalls,

When His judgments are timely, and to His warnings we heed. ³

May we learn to cease our …‘beat His system' protocols’.

And study, then trust His …‘guaranteed ways to succeed’.

Learning His ways and voice, we’ll avoid many pitfalls.

That happens when it’s consistently on His Word we feed.

 

Third is the benefit of a wiser, on-looking remnant.

Other benefits are personal, this is societal.

Some judgments have a collateral damages component,

And all have a surviving remnant group that is …quite watchful.

The Lord’s keen desire is for this group to learn from your judgments,

Or folks will risk much worse fates for ignoring …His kind counsel. ⁴

 

Fourth is a unique one reserved for us born-again saints.

I refer to it as ‘wiping clean our slate’. ⁵

This choice benefit is un-available to …the ‘ain’ts’.

Since they have yet to change their eternal fate,

And reject His sacrifice for their sins, don’t think that’s quaint!

For them to repent, judgments may be …His bait.

 

That’s it, ‘benefits of timely judgments’ from my life’s notepad,

Lessons I’m learning from challenges on roads I have chosen,

Shared from my heart, to yours, with perspectives that are good and bad.

My sincere prayer is that, by them you will be enlightened,

And to my judgments benefits list, you might have some to add.

Christianesque (Poem)

The Gospels record, by large crowds, Jesus was often thronged,

By the sick, blind, hungry, and curious re. …‘what’s happening?’

But the crowds quickly shrunk as on folks, His core message dawned.

To just a precious few did His Word become …heartwarming.

 

But some in the crowds decided to …’hang around,’

Following Him from a comfortable distance --

In the crowds, but to Him …spiritually unbound.

In the crowds, not displaying any resistance. ¹

 

I imagine some folks who ‘hung around’,

Later converted, and their lives displayed,

Hearts warmed by His core message, so profound.

They became God’s sons when Jesus was raised.

 

Then there were hang arounds who would never be …'Christianized',

Folks who may have been satisfied just to be in His crowd,

And Pharisees just seeking something …Him to criticize,

There for His triumphal entrance, and piercing of His brow. ²

 

Some scenarios just like this persist in our day,

Though Jesus isn’t here traversing Earth’s dusty roads.

Still ‘crowds’ grow, then significantly fade away.

Some folks hang around, but won’t change their life’s modes. ³

 

Then there are the few who are committed, to their core,

And of their commitment to Christ, their lives testify.

Some hang arounds might later join this committed corps,

And live transformed lives that demonstrate and verify. 

 

Then there are the hang arounds who, to Christ, will never commit.

Crouched in the crowd, living lives that contradict their façade,

They proudly wear the 'Christian' label, but outwardly admit,

‘I’m a believer, just not ‘born again’. They self-defraud. ⁴

 

And just like when Christ was here as a Man, so it is today.

And to Him, for now, you’ve gotta know …that’s really okay!

You see, He foreknows who will and won’t walk His righteous pathway,

So He’s content to wait to settle scores …on judgment day.

 

Cozy in their ‘life’s boat’, not with what Christ requires and requests.

Most folks have no interest in their hearts being renewed.

Thus, only a small remnant of us humans will pass His tests.

So when they 'parade as a Christian', whom do they delude?

 

Describing folks who just wear Christian identification,

Can quite frankly be a somewhat challenging task.

‘Fake Christians’ or ‘CINOs’ sound like such harsh expressions.

Let’s pray for/be polite to folks who’re just …Christianesque! ⁵

³ Crowds today include folks (both the ‘churched’ and the ‘un-‘)  who are sincere in strengthening/deepening their relationship with God through Christ; others who may not yet be ready to make a solid commitment; and still others who may be only attracted to glitzy entertainment worship and preaching styles, to prospects of finding a mate, to church social scenes, etc.

⁴ ‘You must be born-again to enter into The Kingdom Heaven - born of water (physical birth) and of The Holy Spirit (spiritual re-birth)’. That is the clear message Jesus gave to Nicodemus, signifying ‘Christian’ is synonymous with ‘being born-again’. Yet this Truth many deny, or about it, they are deluded.

⁵ Christian-like in some insignificant way(s), but not in a personal, intimate, born-again relationship with Jesus Christ. They remain 'dead to God' (Revelation 3:1) because Jesus doesn't 'know them'. (Matthew 7:23). PLEASE SEE: Audacious Christians (Series) to perceive what will likely happen to most Christianesque folks who will MISS THE RAPTURE! Finally, recall Apostle Paul warned of a ‘great falling away’ from the faith toward the end of this current age of Grace, people who were formerly committed believers, losing their faith for a variety of reasons, yet for some, this loss may not be evident, publicly. Hence, they may swell the crowds that are ‘Christianesque’. My prayers are that I will not be counted in these groups, and will stay strong in my faith, and that many in the groups noted herein will wake-up and turn around before it is too late. Bible predictions are the seeds of human history, and like it or not, we are all seeing and eating their fruits.

Lake of Fire: Is THIS the Man?! (Poem)

NB: Understandings of the subject of Isaiah 14: 12-17 may differ.

‘Behold the Man!’, one day Pontius Pilate shouted,

Governor of Judea,

To folks demanding Jesus be crucified.

‘Behold the Man!’ Though innocent, folks were stouthearted!

Thus, they fulfilled Isaiah,

Who, of this exact scene, had long prophesied. ¹

Imagine that~

 

By satan, these folks’ words and actions were catalyzed,

‘His blood be upon us and upon our children!’ ²

Yet overall, Father God was in control,

Allowing His salvation plan to be realized.

Lives of their children they cursed …for generations,

In Revelation 12, that’s satan’s goal!

 

Envious… of Jesus, Lucifer was so thoroughly.

Envious… of Him sitting on Father God’s Throne.

Envious… of His title, Lord of Heaven and creation.

Devious… to commit the first sin, plotting treachery.

Devious… to think as Earth’s god he’d be enthroned.

Devious… to deceive folks to join in his own damnation. ³

 

Come! The day of his damnation surely will.

Come! The day his demon cohorts will join in.

Come! The day his human cohorts stand before God’s Throne.

Mum!!  For each and all, it’s time to pay the bill.

Mum!!  No defensive word muttered in Heaven.

Mum!!  Just before into the lake of fire they’re all thrown! ⁴

Ahhh! But not mum for long!

 

Eyes weeping… dry tears, since the heat will be evaporative!

Teeth gnashing... never wearing down, in bodies eternal.

Anguish deepening… endless thoughts, how horribly they erred.

Cries shrieking… to which folks’ immortal ears will be sensitive.

Deep thrashing… against the brimstone and fires sustainable.

Brutish deluding… thinking there’s an exit where they entered. ⁵

 

Is THIS the man?! Questions echoing across the abyss,

The man who made the Earth tremble, and so many kingdoms shake,

Who was so deceived that he attempted to …dethrone The Lord?!

Is THIS the man?! satan a human?! Now that’s quite a twist.

He’s then like devils who chose ‘their proper domain to forsake’.

satan in human form, just like all human folks ...he abhorred! ⁶

 

Yep, that’ll be the man, with all devils that exist,

The Lord’s immutable justice that awaits this entire crew.

Would it be just to resurrect folks in bodies immortal,

And leave them as spirits who the flames might not lick?! ⁷

The lake of fire isn’t open for business yet. There’s hope for you,

If you make sure that place won’t be your …destiny eternal.

⁵ A total of 7 times, The Gospels record Jesus confirming in the lake of fire, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 8:12, 13:42, 13:50, 22:13, 24:51, 25:30, and Luke 13:28) As you read these verses, recall, a key principle in Scripture is to ‘let every key point be confirmed by 2 or 3 witnesses’. (Deuteronomy 17:6, 19:15, Matthew 18:16, 2 Corinthians 13:1, 1 Timothy 5:19, and Hebrews 10:28) So what message is The Lord signaling by confirming this point about weeping and gnashing of teeth in the lake of fire 7 times?! Obviously, it’s my imagination that ‘paints this stanza’.

⁷ NB: Folks who omit to perceive The Bible's strategic links between Genesis 6:3, 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 6 will very likely also miss the strategic hint The Lord appears to be giving us in Isaiah 14:16 about the final human state of satan and his demons. Also, Revelation 19:17-21 reveal the (likely) first immortal human residents in the lake of fire will be the anti-Christ man (the beast in Revelation), and his prophet (prime minister?).

Earth 2.0?! (Poem)

Some well-educated folks yearn and search for Earth 2.0,

Another planet (!) where we can continue to thrive and grow,

After we have literally trashed the Earth we only know.

But they’re less concerned about changing our …lifestyles status quo. ¹

 

Folks waste time, money and lives simply because they opine, 

‘Someday we must jump ship, so life elsewhere we should design!’ 

Earth, home of the ‘spiritually naive and the  blind’.

They’re aligned with anything/anyone but The Lord’s Mind.

 

So if/IF their dream was ever to be realized,

How do they think life somewhere else would ...be organized?

Would all land on another planet ...be privatized?

And by racism and crime, would folks ...be terrorized?

 

Thank God, nowhere in His plans will their dream materialize!

In His plans, Earth is man’s appointed proving ground, customized. ²

And since with the weight of sinfulness, she’s always pressurized,

Periodic 'Earth-updates'  He has graciously authorized:

 

Earth 1.0 – The Lord’s original, perfect creation (Genesis 1:1)

Earth 2.0 – Re-creation after devils fell from Heaven (Genesis 1:2) ³

Earth 3.0 – In the flood, Earth refashioned (Genesis 6 – 8) ⁴

Earth 4.0 – His Millennial Reign version (Revelation 16:17-21, Isaiah 2:4,      

                            11:6-10, 65:17, Revelation 20:1, Zephaniah 3:9)

Earth 5.0 – A brand new, eternal Earth, His final creation (Revelation 21)

 

So while, on finding an Earth 2.0, folks fixate,

They’re clueless it’s Earth 3.0 we now populate! ⁵

And The Lord says, there’re 2 more versions He will create.

Yet any talk of Him or creation, they berate.

 

Each Earth version follows The Lord’s judgment on some group’s sins,

Yet folks refuse to connect sins to ruts we find ourselves in.

Failing The Lord’s common denominator to comprehend,

In designing colonies on the moon and Mars …they pretend. ⁶

Some Bible scholars understand the worst ever earthquake, promised in Isaiah 13:13 and Haggai 2:6, might rejoin all continents and eliminate all mountains, that is EXCEPT Jerusalem, which in The Millennial Reign of Christ, will be raised up high, e.g., on a mountain. (It is very interesting to note this is exactly what The Lord promises for the New Jerusalem on a brand new Earth in eternity! See: Revelation 21:10) This plausible notion indicates the purpose of mountains might be to make room for flood waters, especially since there is no mention of oceans in the first 6 chapters (pre-flood) of Genesis.

Shields Up! Then Down (Poem)

‘Shields up!’, one of several urgent commands given,

On the bridge of the starship, Enterprise,

When imminent danger could compromise,

The ship’s safety, thus requiring enhanced protection.

 

Shields down!, the subsequent command issued,

When the challenges were successfully met,

And all known dangers were no longer a threat.

Then normal operations continued. 

 

Shields up!, can you perceive The Lord's command,

Activating Heaven’s protective function,

For Hebrew slaves in Egypt’s land of Goshen,

Before sending the last plagues He had planned? ¹

 

Shields down!, I can imagine Him later saying,

As to the loss of his first born, Pharaoah winced,

And to release all the slaves, he was convinced!

Alas! Hebrews leaving Egypt, no more slaving!

 

This was the first of several ‘Goshen Effects’,

Shelter The Lord promised to provide,

For two groups who with Him are allied,

While by His judgments, lives of other folks are wrecked. ²

 

Shields up! That is what I perceive He might shout,

Before tribulation judgments on Earth are hurled,

After gathering His folks from across the world,

Most fleeing anti-Semitism, no doubt.

 

Back into the promised land, they’ll be crammed,

Even spilling over into neighboring lands.

Protections they’ll have, folks won’t understand,

Till the end of judgments on the world …slammed! ³

‘Shields down!’ Oh no!! That may seem premature!

Once folks realize Israel is protected,

To her food and wealth, armies will be attracted!!!

Yet hidden hands ensure she will endure.

Ponder this:

Why would The Lord appear to lift His shield,

Over lands where His people are crammed,

Making them seem like defenseless lambs?

Ahhh! His strategy—revealed, yet concealed.” ⁴

 

To Amos and Zephaniah, Jewish prophets of old,

He’s given clues between which the wise connect dots,

To perceive some tactics of His strategic plots,

Then help to warn folks who will listen to what will unfold.
