Missed Insights About Climate Change (Poem, Part 2)

The back story...

First, let’s deal with what global warming and climate change are not.

They're not apocalyptic, as some Christians may have been taught. ¹

They’re cumulative effects of selfishness,

And to Earth’s needs, our lack of responsiveness.

As Earth-stewards, The Lord God enthroned man,

But we have all rebelled with our own plans.

To accumulate wealth, no matter the consequences!!!

Our rebellion triggered The Lord’s predicted responses.

These were first revealed to Moses in Mt. Sinai’s cloudy hue.

He shared them with us all in Deuteronomy 32.

Later, they were revealed in Ezekiel’s scene.

He shared them with us in Ezekiel 14. ²

Unpacking The Lord’s predicted responses, this you will see:

They have clearly dominated much of human history!

Yet, to heed what Moses and Ezekiel revealed, we did not!

We simply adapted and thus, grossly ‘failed to connect-the-dots!’

In adapting, we triggered, then attracted conditions,

That, all across our world today, are being auditioned!!

None of our feeble or strong efforts to deal with these,

Addressed root causes, about which The Lord is dis-pleased!!!

We focus on climate, but the real context is much broader:

Earth’s entirety -- physical and spiritual order.

Moses revealed when gross sinfulness on Earth expands,

It will trigger her to vomit folks out of their lands.

VOILA, our world today~ ³

You see, The Lord is preparing both the Earth and us,

For two strongmen who will be the dominate focus,

During the next two ages of our history:

The anti-Christ and Jesus Christ, both globally.

What if part of His preparations include our clamoring,

For strongman governments that citizens will be adoring?

If so, count that as Grace to ease the shock,

So when things ‘go global’, we will not squawk!

Within this broader context, the ‘climate change’ label,

Is just one more human adaptation …that’s feeble.

Our late and mis-guided efforts to address it,

Might trigger, then ENLARGE the anti-Christ’s ambit!

‘How so?’, you might wonder.

Our climate change blunders,

PLUS The Lord’s next resurrection/rapture event,

Could trigger that man’s uncloaking, then his ascent.

Ezekiel had several visions of/from Jesus Christ, The Lord God. 

The Lord’s primary sin-judgments are: famine, wild beast attacks, warfare and pestilence. These can be applied to individuals, families, societies, nations, and globally to the whole world. While it may be unsafe to presume EVERY time these manifest is a specific judgment from The Lord. But such should be a ‘wake-up call’ to assess ourselves, families, societies, nations and world! The Book of Revelation predicts during the apocalypse, ALL FOUR will be applied GLOBALLY! Now that will be a serious wake-up call!!!
