The curious response of many Christians...
Global warming: Earth warming from fossil fuels burning.
Climate change: The long-term effects of global warming.
For decades, some folks were trapped in a denialist plot.
They couldn’t perceive they were like ‘a frog in a warming pot’.
That many of these folks are Christian, was quite a shock.
Some denied the problem altogether as ‘fear talk’.
Some viewed it as linked to the apocalypse,
When the world will be in the anti-Christ’s grips. *
Devils saw an opportunity to increase the divide.
Thus, some politicians convinced folks to ‘not believe their eyes!’
Foolish deceptions finally collapsed,
But by then, way too much time had elapsed!
As the whole world is now caught in the throes of climate change,
Governments wrestle with how lifestyles should be rearranged.
As they wonder how to ‘foot the bills’ on top of massive debts,
There has been lots of blame going around for climate change threats!
I’m wondering why did so many Christians get it wrong?!?
Many may simply have joined their ‘follow-our-leaders’ throng,
Just like errant Bible teachings were so rampant,
In the pandemic, when leaders were defiant!!!
Selah…
So let’s uncloak what The Bible predicts and demonstrates,
About the conditions sinfulness on Earth generate.
This may take some time, so please hang in there with me,
As I summarize it all, strategically.
In this review, here’s a pattern I intuited.
Let me know if you think history exhibits it:
From some predictions, climate changes arrived.
From these conditions, other changes derived.
