An Unpredicted Tribulation Age Precursor? (Poem)

The Lord, The Lord God,

merciful and gracious, longsuffering,

and abounding in goodness and truth,

keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression and sin,

by no means clearing the guilty, [previously] visiting the iniquity of the fathers

upon the children, and the children’s children

to the third and the fourth generations.

(Exodus 33:18-23)

 

In response to Moses’ bold request, ‘Show me Your GLORY,’

With no herald to announce Him, The Lord pronounced Himself.

His first 7 pronounced traits accentuate His mercy.

In revealing mercy to us, He has never been stealth.

 

But in many cases, to such, we have not been attuned,

Typically taking His merciful Grace …for granted.

That is, until our sinfulness against Him has BALOONED,

And we find ourselves in His stark responses, warranted.

 

Such will be the case in during the close of the next age.

When it’ll seem The Lord’s mercy will have been exhausted.

In preparation for that time on history’s page,

I ask, ‘What of kids who to parents are then trusted??’ ¹

 

Kids in the apocalypse?? What a disturbing thought,

Especially those kids who will not have learned ‘right from wrong’.

In The Lord’s judgments on sinners, why should they be caught?!

Will kids have to get the anti-Christ brand, to show he’s strong?? ²

 

Thinking on these points, I saw several news reports,

On global, current and projected birthrates.

We know there’s been a disquieting decline of note,

And projections are this trend …will not abate.

 

Pondering this report, I recalled The Lord’s GREAT mercy.

What might such stark, global, declining birthrates infer,

As we approach the close of the 3rd age of history?

Might they be un-predicted age-ending precursors? ³

 

Stretching your imaginations, ponder this, ‘What if?’

Could The Lord’s magnanimous Grace, help to ensure,

Greatly fewer, innocent kids in the global grip,

Of His judgments, during the anti-Christ’s tenure??

 

That’s a pertinent point since He has changed His policy:

No longer judging children to 3rd and 4th generations,

For the unrepented sinfulness of their ancestry.

‘The soul who sins, shall die.’ That’s individualization!! ⁴

 

Kids who will yet have learn right from wrong,

Are the most to benefit from this policy shift.

Unless they’ll be in the next rapture throng,

It may be best that they’re not born, when The Lord …is miffed! ⁵

 He said,

‘I’m exercising Grace, Judgment and Righteousness in Earth.’ ⁶

Nothing escapes His gaze, or His direct/indirect influence.

So don’t think for a moment that excludes our global rates of birth,

Or that everything on Earth can be clearly explained …by science.

¹ The Bible affirms the last half of the 7-year tribulation age will be the great tribulation, otherwise called the apocalypse, when The Lord pours out His great wrath on unrepentant, sinful humans, land and sea animals, and the environment, in preparation for His long-promised Millennial Reign. Missed Insights About Revelation (Part 1)

There are innumerable, deeply strategic insights we miss across the pages and ages of The Bible. This is true, though the mysteries of The Lord are hidden for, not from us who sustainably become His faithful saints. We might miss these insights because we tend to read and understand it principally as ‘just another book written by a bunch of guys, and that has little consequence to our modern lifestyles.’ Nothing could be further from the Truth!!!

Moreover, reading it as ‘a religious book’, rather than as a multi-millennial strategic plan, will pretty much guarantee we will miss its deeply strategic insights!! But that’s the BIG LIE devils need us to believe in order to achieve their own strategic goals. Their goals are to wreak havoc on our lives all across the Earth, and to deceive us into joining them in The Lord’s ultimate punishment for them, namely, eternity with them, in immortal bodies, in The Lord’s eternal, brimstone-lit lake of fire. Knowing their time is short to achieve their goals, they significantly ramp-up their efforts toward the close of the ages of human history, as revealed in The Bible. ¹ The largest number of missed insights may well be in The Book of Revelation. One reason is our typical proclivity to AVOID this highly mystical book, full of incomprehensible symbolisms and images that blow our minds. 

This series exposits my easy-to-apply, 2-step approach to understand this pivotal book -- the glorious conclusion of The Lord’s Multi-millennial Strategic Plan for Humanity:

—Step 1: Read Revelation FIRST, and often thereafter as you read and re-read other books of The Bible.

—Step 2: Sharply and sustainably perceive its 7-key revelations.

Let’s get started…

Step 1: Read Revelation FIRST and Often

In reading most books, I prefer to scan the last chapter FIRST. With a notion of the conclusion, I am better able to intuit and track the unfolding storyline. If I find the culmination to be untoward, reading the book would be of little value to me. This approach can be helpful to understand any really complex, strategic, storyline book. 

Just like a masterful author, The Lord God’s applies an easily identifiable tactic in revealing everything He has revealed to humanity, including things we decided to use to sin against Him and His righteous requirements. Here is His apparent tactic:

Precept upon precept,

Line upon line,

Here a little, there a little.

(Isaiah 28:10 & 13)

 

By His Spirit, He applied this tactic to inspire, orchestrate, then preserve the writing of each ‘book’ of The Bible, from Genesis-to-Revelation. His purpose is to ‘reveal’ to us who are spiritually-minded, ‘puzzle-like’ pieces of His Multi-millennial Strategic Plan for Humanity, and thereby trigger our sustainable faith in Him, and it. In ‘light’ of that, it is safe to conclude Revelation is the culmination of His written revelations, just like the final chapter in any book. ² Inspired by the most complex, strategic mind in existence, The Mind of Christ, Revelation could well be the most complex book ever written! So we only fool ourselves if we think we can approach and understand it with our typical religious mindset! ³ 

 

According to Colossians 2:3, in Him reside ‘…ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.’ (See also Romans 11:33.) Imagine that! Ergo, reading Revelation, the CLIMAX of His storyline, first and often, would obviously be an immense help and guide to comprehend His entire strategic plan, in light of its conclusions. Reading Revelation first, won’t trigger an immediate, full understanding of it. Rather, reading it OFTEN will provide successively deeper insight into The Lord’s final plans and destination for humanity. Moreover, periodically re-reading it:

     A. Helps to sharpen our ability to correlate other books, with this climax; and

     B. Helps to ensure we receive the BLESSINGS promised in Revelation 3:1 and 22:7-9. Note that the blessings are not specified!!! But I intuit they may include insights and ability to perceive and comprehend THE REST OF THE BIBLE!!!  Why?? 

Revelation, especially chapters 20:11-15, 21 and 23, depict

THE FINAL DESTINATION FOR EVERY HUMAN

WHOM THE LORD WILL HAVE EVER

ENOWED WITH SPIRIT AND BREATH!

¹ This is true, with one exception, namely The Millennial Reign age – the 5^th Biblical age of human history. Revelation 20 twice confirms that, for the full duration of that age, all devils will be locked away in a bottomless pit. See: Mid-ages Musings (Part 5) for what I intuit was likely an age-ending pattern during the close of the first two Biblical ages of human history – the pre-flood age, and the post-flood/pre-cross age. ³ Amos 5:12-23 are excellent reminders that The Lord hates religion, e.g., vain recitations and rituals that have no demonstrated, faith-filled foundation of a personal relationship with Him, and intimate knowledge of, or respect for His Word, The Bible.

He (Jesus, The Lord God) shall judge between the nations,

And rebuke many people;
They shall beat their swords (weapons) into plowshares,
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword (weapons) against nation,
Neither shall they learn war anymore.

(Isaiah 2:4, Micah 4:3) ¹

 

In our war-mongering world today,

These words trigger unimaginable images.

I’ve pondered what they seek to convey,

And to understand their strategic inferences.

Let’s strategically unpack these points, individually,

Since one day soon, they all will be fulfilled,

Let’s try to perceive their higher messages, contextually,

And what, in us, The Lord seeks to instill. 

Point #1: Rebuking the Nations.

The Old Testament is FULL of Heaven’s rebukes,

Of leaders who led their nations to sin -- despotic.

Those nations were then invaded by foreign troops!

Warfare: Heaven’s 3^rd, ramping-up sin-response tactic! ²

Today, Heaven’s rebukes of sinfulness still go unheeded,

By nations’ leaders, and especially their 'sintizens'! ³

Yet we are shocked when its predicted responses are meted,

Which are wars, wild beast attacks, pestilences and famines.

Today, nations ignore The Lord’s rebukes, sent prophetically

The above verse speaks of when He will rebuke them, personally,

When LITERALLY, ‘to their knees’, they are brought, pathetically,

When He starts His global, Millennial Reign, punitively. ⁴

Point #2: Beating Swords into Plowshares.

Many Bible scholars think this accents the pursuit of peace.

But that’s clearly counter-intuitive to human nature!!

Pursuing peace will NEVER prompt weapons production to cease!

So what could trigger this strategic prediction to occur??

The Lord will hit the 're-set button’ on civilization,

Reducing human, land animals and plant populations,

Driving humanity back to subsistence cultivation. ⁵

Survivors will be struggling with His righteous promulgations!

Here’s one possible rationale for the Great Tribulation:

To give surviving humans and their offspring, a clear reason,

To connect-the-dots between sinfulness-and-retribution.

But just like us, years on, their offspring won’t know this core lesson.

Selah…

Point #3: Learning War …No More (?).

Having suffered through the apocalypse,

Plus 2 massive wars that were lost in Israel,

Survivors' wills, and abilities to fight wars, will be stripped!

By The Lord’s and our power and LIGHT, they’ll be dazzled! ⁶

For a thousand years, the study of warfare will be banned.

But to such, will human spirits ...easily bend?

In hearts of those born later, might the flames of war be fanned??

If so, what might that mean for how that age …could end??? ⁷

If defunct weapons remain in plain sight,

And are cannibalized for agricultural tools,

Interests of those born later, could ignite,

To learn about those old weapons, and how they were used!

Either way, a final, attempted war is portended,

After The Millennial Reign age will have concluded.

Ergo, learning war ‘no more’, might just be ‘book-ended’.

OR, in that final war, people might  …just be deluded!!! ⁸

Here’s the repetitive conclusion from human history:

Paradise was found, then lost. Undenied!  

But for a thousand years, The Lord will end this, decisively.  

Then, ALL life on Earth will be …‘GLORIFIED’.

⁵ Recall, this is EXACTLY what happened after the global flood! After the apocalypse, agriculture practices globally, might initially be reduced to barebones, subsistence farming as a result of the tremendous environmental and population destructions during the apocalypse. I imagine no large scale, commercial farming operations will survive the two predicted, global earthquakes. Also, globally, markets and distribution networks will very likely crash. The combination of people who will be slaughtered by the anti-Christ before the apocalypse, and those killed during the apocalyptic plagues, will result in a greatly-reduced population from which work forces can be drawn. ⁷ The Bible is silent on how The Millennial Reign age, the 5th age of our history, will end. It does predict, AFTER this age ends, satan (and probably his crew of demons) will be released from their captivity to trigger a final, massive, attempted attack on Israel, by peoples who will not have known devilish temptations, as we do today! ⁸ Book-ended, i.e., limited to during The Millennial Reign age. Having had no opportunity to ‘learn/study war’, I imagine the people in this final war of history might possibly be deluded (by devils) into believing their sheer numbers in this massive attempted invasion of Israel, would be adequate to achieve their objective(s) — which might be to get their hands on the tremendous amounts of wealth that will have accumulated in Israel, per Isaiah 60. If so, that would be no difference in how devils delude us today! Agree? Since the creation of Adam, devils have well-honed their ‘human deception’ skills and tactics. And guess what?? So have we well-honed our willingness and abilities …TO BE DELUDED!
