Suppose…
The Lord designed, then created you for unique purposes,
That all across Heaven would trigger some unique responses,
To give Him the worship, praise and glory,
Due to someone of His magnanimity.
Suppose He designed you as spirit, soul and body,
And to each, assigned its role in this, your trinity:
Your spirit for worship, your soul for praise,
Your body …terrestrial glory blaze.
Suppose to you He had generously disbursed,
Certain quantities of each in life to disperse,
Plus a time limit to finish what He had commissioned,
And, get this, each task as a liquid could be envisioned.
You, a tripartite being, designed in His spitting image,
To give Him tripartite blessings, from inherent knowledge,
Of Him and your role in His grand strategic plan,
For folks who across human history would span.
At this point in your life, what proportion of each,
Would you assess have been poured out, and to Him reached,
About which He is well pleased, satisfied and glorified,
And by which your relationship with Him is fortified?
Today, what proportion of each would you assess,
Remains deep within in your being, unstirred, at rest,
Still there, in storage, for The Almighty it’s intended,
But you with no will or desire to Him to extend it?
Suppose…
Much of each remains within you,
When death’s door is within your view,
Then quickly to the grave, your body is designated,
And your spirit and soul back to The Lord are …air-freighted.
As before Him in Heaven you then appear,
How would you defend your performance down here,
Regarding every drop of worship, praise and glory,
He and all Heaven expected from ...your Earth story?
Waiting there before His magnificent Throne,
You then wish this key point on Earth you had known:
Body in the grave, your spirit and soul …were diverted!
Into an im-mortal body, they will be inserted!
The question before Him, The Judge of Heaven’s court:
To which destination will His angel escort,
You -- spirit, soul and body,
Your eternal trinity??
