Everybody talkin’ ‘bout Heav’n ain’t going there
It’s because in their thinking, they’ve fallen into a snare
Evil will keep them out, but good won’t get them in
Of this have no doubt, that’s the way it’s always been
There’s something you can’t forego
Jesus said it’s so
Let me tell you, so you will know
He said, ‘You must be born again’
To enter God’s Heaven, you’ve gotta be born again
Refusing to believe, Christ they won’t receive
They are way out on a limb, but argue with Him
It’s pride they display, choosing their own way
Ignoring their sin, they won’t make it in
Lots of folks think Heav’n ‘n hell are just some fantasy
Just a fantasy…
If only they believed that they’re both a reality
That just might spare them a future agony
Future agony…
But they refuse to receive and believe what their eyes cannot see
There’s something they can’t forego

This I’ll tell them, so they will know

The cares of this ole world, all around them do swirl
It’s money they pursue, and riches they accrue
With no childlike faith, Christ they won’t embrace
So they refuse to bow, and their way He’ll allow
