Booty, Pre/Post Millennial Reign (Poem, Part 3)

Will Israel be relatively protected in the

great tribulation and the 1st War of Gog and Magog?

(Ezekiel 38)

Before Moses led Israel’s children out of Egypt,

He orchestrated plagues that were national in scope,

God’s harsh judgments that left the nation totally unzipped! ¹

But in the Land of Goshen, Israel’s kids had hope!

Ahhhh Goshen, ‘the best of the land’, according one king! ²

For Joseph’s whole family, this land was his preference.

Then centuries later, God told Moses, ‘Tell the new king,

Between Goshen and Egypt, I will …make a difference!’

The difference was to protect the slaves in Goshen,

From the last 7 of 10 plagues on Egypt, ³

Further proof that The Lord controls all His creation.

Thus Goshen thrived, as by plagues Egypt was …stripped.

According to what Ezekiel wrote in his Bible scripts, 

We can perceive a very strange, but clear inference:

In this 1st War of Gog and Magog (in the apocalypse),

In Israel, God may again …make a difference!

While all the world will be reeling from punishing blows,

Challenging the very foundations of life on Earth,

In Israel, there will be wealth, food and grass that grows, ⁴

Attracting coalitions’ greed. Consider the worth!!

Great booty, spoils of war that could be won??

In the midst of the great tribulation??

In Israel, such a tiny nation??

Ahhh…
the ‘backside’ of Ezekiel’s prediction! ⁵

If this may not be true or not be the case,

And in Israel there’ll be no difference,

Then why in Israel would an army waste,

Resources of time, fuel, soldiers and ordnance?!

Across the Bible’s pages, this is what I see:

Incidents and symbolisms, typological,

All share the same roots, just like branches on a tree.

Keep this in mind concerning things theological. ⁶

If in tribulations that soon will unfurl,

A ‘Goshen-type difference’ by The Lord may be ordained,

Between Israel and the rest of the world,

What might this infer of anti-Semitism, ingrained?

In Egypt’s plagues, the difference would be effective,

Only with a clear separation, geographically.

So as means to higher objectives called, ‘protective’,

Could anti-Semitism spur immigration, willfully?

The Lord has promised, not on a whim,

To regather His people to His land,

‘…Until no more room is found for them!’

To you does this hint their land might e-x-p-a-n-d? ⁷

--Egyptian slavery termination

--Anti-Semitism, immigration

--Protection in the great tribulation

--Coming millennial dispensation

Retrospective past, and future prospect.

Though challenges remain, politically,

Here is the notion that I now suspect:

¹ See: Exodus 7 – 11. During 10 plagues, ancient Hebrews were protected in only 7. See: The Goshen Effect (Series)

³ See: Exodus 8:23, 9:4 and 11:7. The differences were between the Egyptians and Hebrews, and between their herds of livestock, a food source and symbol of wealth. A careful reading of Exodus 7 – 11 reveals/infers Goshen was protected from 7 of the 10 plagues, leaving open the questions: (a) is this accurate or only symbolic and (b) understanding The Lord’s objective to free the oppressed Hebrew slaves, would He add to their afflictions by allowing them to be exposed to the first 3 plagues? ⁴ See: Ezekiel 38:12-13. Grass is food to cattle and other livestock. Revelation 8 states ¹/₃ of Earth’s grass will be burned up and many waters tainted, so the presence of cattle/livestock in Israel suggests the availability of grass, and where there is grass, there is water.

⁵ Ezekiel reveals the likely objects of the invasion, not the ‘why’. Isaiah 26:20 hints Israel may be relatively protected in the great tribulation. Also, Zechariah 10:10 indicates Israel will be so crowded with Jews from all over the world, that they will spill over into Lebanon and northern Jordan. ⁶ The roots relate to God’s heart, purposes and His strategic and tactical/operational ways. His broad, 3-point strategy is summarized in Jeremiah 9:23-24; and His 4 general judgment tactics are summarized in Ezekiel 14:12-23. Note how these tactics are highly synergistic!
