His Eyes Say It (Poem)

In Eden’s Garden, I pronounced the death sentence

on Myself,¹

To reclaim My creation, and for your spirit and your health.²

On Calvary’s hill, I fulfilled My sentence one dark afternoon.

My work completed, as promised, Father raised Me,

then I left My tomb.

All of this was just a seed I planted deep in the Earth,

To grow, then extract the fruit of humanity’s true worth.

A remnant, a sample, to whom I could grant life eternal,

A people with whom I could have ‘relations spiritual’.³

Of all My holy angels, I have lost one third,

Due to a great rebellion Lucifer once stirred!⁴

So you might say there are ‘Vacancies’ in Heaven,

Some that are advertised, and to you are ‘Now Open’.

My Bible spells out the few, minimal qualifications,

For interested candidates to complete their applications.

It also details a long list of impressive benefits,

And NO application will be denied from him who submits.⁵

To all who apply, and follow My ‘Pre-arrival Course’,

From all their sinful, worldly ways, they will have to divorce.

To help them fulfill this charge, My Spirit will betoken,

And upon their arrival, they will hear Me say, ‘Well done!’ ⁶

To all who arrive, I will award ‘Like Angel’ status,⁷

And thus our lives together will be totally boundless.

They will come to know the eternal darkness they trampled,

Reserved for lost angels... and the people they bamboozled.

So please consider My vacancy. I hope you will apply,

So we can be together, both now and in the ‘by ‘n by’.

I hope that seed I planted in the Earth so long ago,

Will produce its fruit in you, so you I will come to know.

To all your friends who decline My invitation,

And decide to not submit their application,

At their end, I will declare to them in their disdainfulness,

‘Depart from Me,
I never knew you who practice sinfulness’.⁸
