Ever experienced a sunny day, until,
A cloud from nowhere
suddenly gave you a chill?
Or a chilly day, when the
sun suddenly pierced
Breaks in the clouds, with
warming beauty that was fierce?
Or in a plane, on a dreary
day of dark clouds,
It finally pierced that
thick, dark canopy that shrouds?
You’ll have seen this,
incredible sight--
The sun shining brightly,
and clouds so white.
Irrespective of how dark,
thick clouds may stride,
There’s a truth, they can
never seem to hide:
The sun’s rays and warmth,
they can only mask.
So whether it’s shining, never
a cloud should you ask!
Clouds are a dividing line
that can only boast of
Dark actualities below,
masking bright truths above.
There are other lines that
likewise divide,
Views that are false, from
great truths that abide.
There are lines that divide
watery worlds of earth,
From our dry world above,
on the land we traverse.
Coast and water lines not
only two worlds demarcate,
But also belie different
world’s they separate.
Consider lines that divide
all aspects of our vision,
Differences between micro
and telescopic versions.
Ahhh, truthful views we can
see through one thin lens,
And our understandings of
‘truth’, it will cleanse.
‘What’s your point, J!?’ ,
perhaps you are wondering.
Something significant, for
your pondering.
God created a bright,
abundant world for us to enjoy.
Sin installed dividing
lines, the results of ole satan’s ploy.
Lines much worse than
canopies of dark cumulus clouds,
That try their level best
all sunlight and warmth to shroud.
But God has given us both
the means and savoir
faire,
To defeat and even
transcend sin’s crafty line snares.
Transcending, we learn all
about God’s Truth-ful realities,
No longer tricked by
perceived, yet untrue actualities.
Through Faith in, and Grace
from Christ,
working in opposite
directions,
We accept His corrections,
and escape satan’s deceptions.
Thus, we pierce, even
disperse, sin’s dividing canopies,
And escape from being a ‘satanic sin
casualty.’
Now you, too, have the
choice, and also the savoir faire,
To escape the pains and
penalties of satan’s snares.
Choose life in Jesus, and
escape those devilish lies and tricks,
Hidden beneath sin’s canopy
of polemic theatrics.
Study and learn well to
live in God’s Truth,
In Christ enjoying, ‘the dew of your
youth.’ *
