Welcome~

Hello and Welcome~

The world is blind to these SEVEN, pivotal facts:

1. The Bible communicates Heaven’s 'multi-millennial, strategic plan for humanity'.

2. There are SEVEN ages appointed for humanity.

3. We are nearing the end of the THIRD age, a pivotal turning point in this strategy.

4. A GREAT falling away from the Christian faith is predicted during the ending days of this THIRD age, as a result of backsliding and general lukewarmness among the heretofore faithful. Look around and this you will clearly see.

5. Biblical prophecies have been and remain seeds of human history.

6. Yet-fulfilled prophecies, unfolding apace, are worthy of diligent study.

7. Now is the time to get and stay on ‘the right side of Bible prophecy’.

You, Almighty (Poem)

What If You Were Almighty?

As Almighty, in your world, what would you create?
Would there be all peace, beauty, all love and no hate?
What would you allow, and with what fill your time and world?
Would you create all things lovely, that around you swirl?

No obstacle encountered, nor overcome,
Not a thing to which you could ever succumb?
Would you think, ‘Oh, what a life!’, or ‘Man, what a bore!’,
With things to come being just like what was before?

Why must ‘things interesting and exciting’ include tension,
Something encountered before becoming victor or victim?
What would life look like without any struggle,
You, nestled into your ‘Almighty bubble’?

In wisdom, God, in all His creation, allowed tension.
He even allowed it to enter into His Heaven!
There, He allowed free will, with the prospect of ‘iniquity’.
This, lucifer used, attempting to change his identity.

Then, on Earth, God even allowed Heaven’s gremlin,
A devil-filled serpent, walking in The Garden.*
Since then, every life on Earth has been impacted.
Into endless struggles, we’ve all been inducted!

Fish in a tank, shipped coast to coast.
None were dead, but they were...almost.
Then, when shipped with some predator companions,
Most arrived alive, as fit as champions!

Yet, throughout our lives, we push, strive, and connive,
To end struggles that to our doors could arrive,
Cheating God and fellow man; ‘money mountains’ off shore or in a bank,
Trying to get rid of every possible...predator in our tank’.

In wisdom, both in Heaven and down here, in our Earth groove,
God ordained resistance, to strengthen, enhance and improve.
He even added tests, to spice things up a bit,
To help ensure for our next life, we’d all be fit.

But still we seek to find ways to escape
Even His tests, until death pulls our drape.
Then, before Him we risk standing unprepared,
With unrepented sins with which we’re ensnared.

Then, His rewards and next assignments, glorious though they may be,
May be passed on to others who’re prepared for their eternity.
Friend, this is a picture that does not need to be!
God says, ‘Resist devils, and from you they will flee.’

In resisting, you avoid becoming a victim
Of their deceitful lies and their devilish venom.
God’s Grace power will encourage and strengthen,
As your faith allows Grace… to melt… your…… tension…

Now back to that one question I asked you at the start.
You really ARE 'Almighty' in mind and in your heart!
Consider all those decisions that impact life's orbit.
God so designed 'you' so that for this only 'you' are fit.

So...
Ponder well my rhyme as you turn your 'decision crank'.
Don't aim to drain all tension from your life's glory tank.
Reflect on God's great design; seek His Grace and Peace faithfully.
You'll be the best 'Almighty you' that you can possibly be!

  1. Amen!
Without opposition, there would be no opportunity to choose and exercise the agency that God gave us. The more we resist Satan's temptations, the weaker and less attractive they become to us. The more we choose to follow Christ, the greater peace and happiness we feel, even in the midst of trials and adversity.

Your poem reminds me of the words of Spencer W. Kimball, who suffered great adversities in his life (losing two siblings and his mother by the time he was 11; suffering cancer and the removal of all but half a vocal chord in later years):

"Being human, we would expel from our lives physical pain and mental anguish and assure ourselves of continual ease and comfort, but if we were to close the doors upon sorrow and distress, we might be excluding our greatest friends and benefactors. Suffering can make saints of people as they learn patience, long-suffering, and self-mastery."

We grow physically and spiritually as we strive to overcome obstacles. We do all we can, remembering that God is the ultimate source of wisdom, strength, and grace. I love what Paul testifies in Philippians 4:11-13.

Thanks, J, for reminding us of important truths!
