for all flesh had corrupted their way on the Earth.’
(Genesis 6:12)
Similarly, though they will not be present among mankind during the final millennium (the Millennial Reign of Christ, which will be the 5th age of human history), but will be locked away in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years, you can bet devils will likely be scheming, knowing they will be released once again to taunt mortal humans! How do they know this? They read The Book, as you should, too!
While mankind was corrupting themselves during the first millennium, ‘Enoch walked and communed with God for three hundred years...’ (Genesis 5:22) This is evidence that, even during God’s ‘Day of Rest’, the door to communion with Him was still open to any person who would seek Him.
Similarly, perhaps during the final millennium, mortals (who will have survived the tribulation, along with their offspring) will yet commune with Christ. Indeed, at that time, mortal Jews will reportedly embrace Him as their Messiah. It is unclear whether this might infer 'salvation' as we currently know it. It is clear, however, that Jews who strive the great tribulation will be sporting the 'mark of the beast', and therefore, will not be eligible for salvation, per Revelation 14. Moreover, whether their offspring born during this age will experience salvation is doubtful, at least salvation as we currently know it, yet all things are possible. Door to ‘Communion’ Still Open

John,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your posts. They were very enlightening! I am not surprised that some Christians were not interested in any of the topics related to end-times. I know a few who are even afraid of death itself. There is a reason for this. Many just can believe that the end is near. Just as Noah warn the people in his day, and they didn't believe until it started to rain, the same is happening today. I hope and pray that all unbelievers, unbelieving Saints, and even doubters will come into agreement with God and His Word before it is too late. It was too late for the unbelievers to get on the ark in Noah's day before the flood. But thanks be to God for the blood of Calvary, that Jesus shed for the remission of sin. There will be no excuse. Grace @ Peace!
I was shocked and surprised when The Lord moved me to ponder and meditate on this series. I have NEVER, EVER heard of such a comparison, and wonder why was it planted so deeply into my spirit?! It was literally like fire in my stomach that I could not quench until I spent hours praying, meditating and writing what I saw in my spirit. Incredible!
DeleteThanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.
John,
DeleteI enjoyed reading your post. They were clear and understandable to me. In fact, most of it I already knew about. Some of it brought back to my rememberance that which I had forgotten.
I also spend a lot of my free time studying the Bible for a fresh Word from the Lord. I praise God for blessing you in your study of His Word. Grace@Peace
