1. The first millennium was followed by a worldwide watery judgment. (Genesis 7) The deluge reportedly occurred in 1656, or 656 years after the first/into mankind’s second millennium. To God, 656 years may be just over half a day! The final millennium will be followed by a history-wide White Throne judgment! (Revelation 20:11-15) So while we can estimate the timeframe between the end of our first millennium and the watery judgment, to my understanding, The Bible provides no insight into the timeframes between the end of Christ’s Millennial Reign and the subsequent Great White Throne judgment of all resurrected mankind who will have ever lived and who missed His first resurrection (either because they were not righteous, or were not yet born). I wonder whether there might be any possible relationship between these two events and timeframes. Revelation 20:3 just says satan will be released ‘for a short time’, and the next event on Heaven’s calendar is the second War of Gog and Magog, then the White Throne judgment. Of course, all of this is well ‘beyond our pay grades’, but it’s interesting to note. See: God’s Inferred Strategic Timelines for more on this sub-topic.
Our God is certainly highly strategic, and I think He wants us spiritually minded believers to perceive His strategies. This is why He says,
