Unblocking Imagination’s Power

Through the knowledge of Christ and God’s promises to the righteous, I have all things that pertain to life and godliness. I manifest these things through my God-ignited imagination. By faith in, and meditation on God’s crafted vision for my life, I push these things off the shelf and pages, and out of the corridors of my imagination into the temporal reality of physical existence. This is God’s plan and desire for mankind.

Meditation is meeting God in the matrix of my imagination:

§  There He uses His Word to ignite His vision for my life

§  There He develops within me the patience to manifest His vision

§  There He focuses the vision, enabling me to preview small steps to take

§  There He in-courages (puts courage into) me to take these steps

§  There He God-sizes my steps taken, inspiring awe in spectators and me

While a God-ignited imagination is super powerful in co-crafting and physically manifesting God’s vision for my life, a blocked, dark, un-inspired imagination is equally powerful in co-crafting the absolute inverse of God’s vision for me. My imagination is the power-link God created within me, bridging my heart (spirit) and soul (mind, will, emotions, intellect). In doing so, He took an exceptional risk in giving me the choice to use it for good or bad, for or against His vision for me.

Since the dropping of Adam’s humanistic bomb (the ‘adamic bomb’) on mankind, we have all been inducted into The Adam’s Family. Weird, out of sync with the reality of God’s vision for us, we collectively and individually act out the weird roles of our family, much like those of the Adams Family, an ole TV sitcom, to the point that these inverted behaviors are more real and natural to us than God’s way. Thus, His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. But God, through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, offers us the choice to be redeemed from Adam’s Family; to be re-born into His Family; and to receive both the Spirit and Mind (thoughts, words, motivations, and nature) of Christ. Through faith in His Word, we can, therefore, reorient the power of our imagination for His and our good, and the good of others.

Anxiously thinking (taking thought) about the past, current and future cares of this world backs-up our imaginations much like a plumbing facility, blocking the flow of God’s goodness to us and through us to others. The way out of this totally natural inclination is literally to saturate our mind with The Word of God, allowing His Voice to overlay our inner voice. A mind saturated with The Word will have less and less room for the cares of this world, circumstances in our temporal reality that distract us and kill off the power of our imaginations.
