On Angels and Deceptions

Why are angels referred to as "her" here on earth, but not in the Bible? Some would answer, "These days women are taking over everything...."

Can't argue with that, and in many ways, it's good!  But consider this 'spiritual angle'...

The Bible presents angels as huge, strong, non-sexual spiritual beings that God created to perform His bidding.  The Bible and Jesus tell of a war in Heaven (e-mail me if you would like the Scripture references) between two factions of angels.  One third, led by Lucifer (the devil), was excommunicated (kicked out) of Heaven and found their way to earth. To them, God has promised and eternal punishment (hell).  Pending that, God allows both good and evil angels to co-exist spiritually within the earth realm as an opportunity to "prove" spiritual mankind, demonstrating to both sets of angels that some humans will indeed intuit the Grace and Goodness of God, and will serve Him rather than serve evil.  To those humans (born again Christian believers), God has specifically dispatched and assigned legions of His good, strong, powerful angels to help us to establish the truth of His Word as the foundation of our lives.

To counter God's move, Lucifer and his crowd primarily use deception.  Whatever God says, whatever God establishes, and whatever He "paints a word picture of" in the Bible, that other crowd of angels plants seeds of doubt in the minds of humans.  If God says, "A," this crowd will try to get humans to say and believe, "Z."  They are after our thoughts and words, as words are spirit, and spirit is designed to create.  Their objective is to trick us into creating our lives quite differently than what God intends.  If the Bible paints the picture of angles as large, spiritually powerful, non-sexual beings, you can count on it that Lucifer and his cronies will paint an opposite picture -- angels being tiny, weak, sweet, little, girlie beings, thousands of whom can fit on the tip of a needle.  With such a lie believed by so many humans, there is no wonder they lack the power to resist sin and evil.  Their so-called "guardian angels" are powerless against anything, let alone sin and evil. 

In truth, holy angels are so huge, powerful, and full of light that is whiter than anything we can ever imagine, no wonder people who had angelic encounters during biblical times fell flat on their faces in total shock and awe. 

Remember, my Friend, it is fairly easy to tell the difference between a lie and the truth.  Just ask yourself, "What do most people believe about X, Y or Z?," then take the exact opposite, and check out the references in the Bible.  You'll likely be v-e-r-y close to what God intended us to believe.
