Revelation - Unsealing the Scroll (Poem, Part 1)

The Book of Revelation, what a prodigious mystery,

Full of unimaginable images and symbols.

Therein are blessings to us who read, hear and keep its words. ¹

Of scholars’ attempts to interpret it, there’s NO paucity!!!

What’s the blessing in things that are not understandable??

It’s to know The Lord’s plans for us in life …and afterwards!

 

For us, He’s strategically planned ages…7, ²

On a planet with major continents…7,

Divided into key tectonic plates…7,

Blessed with beautiful rainbows of colors…7,

And our time here measured in weeks of days …7,

All this and more to signify His perfection….777.

 

To wrap up both this 3^rd age and His strategy,

To His beloved disciple, Apostle John,

He gave a vision on the Island of Patmos,

To reveal to us things that must take place… ‘shortly’.

After His 4^th, 5^th and 6^th ages on Earth dawn,

He will then reveal …a brand new Earth and cosmos. ³

 

The dawning of His 4^th age is upon us NOW,

The tribulation age, when the anti-Christ will arise.

It’s by opening 7 seals on an ancient scroll,

That the vision symbolizes this dawning. How?!

Each seal, when opened, previews a response beyond the skies.

Five trigger events on Earth, sinful humans to troll. ⁴

 

For now, let’s summarize these seven previews in Heaven.

Then, let’s explore what conditions on Earth five trigger.

Ezekiel 8, 9, 14 and 2 Chronicles 36,

Help us to perceive The Lord’s view - a basic foundation.

To connect dots between two realms, they’re our ‘teacher’.

To us they shout, ‘Open your eyes to the spiritual matrix!’

 

 Seal    Previews ⁵

   #1     A conquering spirit is released

   #2     A killing spirit is released

   #3     A spirit of economic distress is released

   #4     Spirits released for wars, famines, pestilences & beast attacks 

   #5     Spirits of martyred saints are told to be patient

   #6     Quakes across the Earth and cosmos; the sky is ‘rolled up’; the sun darkens, moon turns 

   bloodish color, stars fall, etc., etc. 6

   #7     Short silence as angels prepare the ‘trumpet judgments’

² The Lord’s multi-millennial strategy for humanity comprises 7 ages: (1) pre-flood, (2) post-flood/pre-cross, (3) post-cross (Church Age), (4) tribulation/great tribulation, (5) Millennial Reign, (6) post-Millennial Reign, and (7) eternity.

³ Since it is commonly understood the vision was given close to the end of the first century AD, and since most of the book portends the 4^th age, from The Lord’s perspective, ‘shortly’ obviously refers to the remainder of the 3^rd age of humanity.
