Many of us like
super hero stories and movies,
Pondering what
they’ll do in their evolving quandaries,
And enjoying them,
no matter their powers or armor.
Here’s why…
We’re designed
to tune-into super-natural power!
But tuning-in to such
power is but the first step.
There is so much more
our Creator in us did prep.
Our deepest desire
is into super powers to tap,
To get us into
or out of …situational crap!
The super, or ‘above-natural’
part of our being,
Is our spirit, our essence that we know,
without seeing.
It’s power is the
ability to think and perceive,
To reason, and thus
shape what we do …because we believe.
So let’s take some
time to think about our thought life.
On it, I hope to
shed some fresh, insightful light.
God reveals it
comprises two areas, distinct:
Carnal and spiritual.
They’re separate, yet synced.
But hold on…
Please do not be
deceived into thinking,
Spiritual has some religious ring.
It’s more about how
we perceive and connect us,
Our conscious world,
and the ‘mother-world’ nebulous.
Ummm…
‘Mother-world’, a concept worthy of contemplation.
It refers to that perceived,
yet unseen dimension.
The Bible refers to
it as the world spiritual,
From which is
seeded everything that becomes
physical.
Carnal - things to which we all naturally incline.
Spiritual - antithesis of carnal design.
Distinguishing the
two types of thought is easy.
Perceiving spiritual
thought authors is
key!
The authors of
spiritual thoughts, of course,
Are good and
evil, and all that they endorse.
One gives faith for good things you hope for, yet are unseen.
One gives fears of things you dread, coming on your life’s scene.
One gives fears of things you dread, coming on your life’s scene.
In your thought
life, what’s the ‘elephant in the room’?
Is it the goodness
of faith, or fear’s evil gloom?
Both voices are spiritual, and with you they’ll plea.
The one to which
you incline will grow quite rapidly!
Decide and imagine
all your self-talk,
Previews the roads down which you soon will walk.
See it as a three-way conversation,
You, faith and fear, setting your destination.
In this on-going, three-way exchange,
Helps and obstacles on your path you’ll arrange.
As your destination and path are set,
Words from your heart, through your mouth will be let.
Word seeds with DNA of faith or fear,
You will hear entering into your ear.
Since we know faith and fear grow by hearing,
By these words, one of these will be crowned king.
On appointed matters, that king will rule,
By your words and actions its growth to fuel.
As it grows, in life you’ll see evidence,
Of it producing hopes’ or fears’ substance.
Previews the roads down which you soon will walk.

As spirit, with spirit you are designed to align,
And thus add its ‘super’
to your ‘natural’ design.
Voila! A more super-natural you you’ll become!
Beware your ‘thoughts-king’ choice. From its roots
…fruits will
blossom.
I have been viewed as a very spiritual man. One who is lead by the Spirit of God as evident to living a discerning life and walking in the prophetic. It is a troubling life many times because it seems that God is constantly giving me something to pray about and someone that is in need of prayer. My Spirit is always in concert with heaven and fighting against hells movement. God has made us super hero's in this world. I just want rest. I look forward to the time spoken of in the bible where men will study war no more," He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war." Isaiah 2:4. I realized the other week that I have rarely, if ever, had a span of real peace. I mean where there is nothing going on and nothing to pray about. life has been an intense war in the spirit.

Rest, in the midst of a lingering fight?!
That’s something about which I love to write.
Writing is one tool that helps me to ABIDE,
And sharpen victory images INSIDE.
In those times when writing doesn’t cut it,
I need much more deep down in my spirit.
That’s when God allows life to be shaken-up,
Prompting me to come in for a ...faith tune-up.
As with you, one more thing helps me to sustain.
That’s a focus on the Millennial Reign.
Though in life, in Jesus we are the victor,
In His Reign, with Him we’ll be ...The CONQUEROR!
Never give up, nor cave in.

DeleteConsider this. The reference to beating swords into plowshares seems to only apply in the Millennial Reign. But hold on! Revelation 20 twice mentions a time period AFTER the Millennial Reign. How long is the referenced ‘little while’? Who knows. But rest assured it is NoT what you or I would consider as such. Why? It will have to be long enough for devils, once loosed from their confinement, to temp humans to ‘study and prep’ for war, the biggest ever, and the final one in human history! Remember, so far, all paxes (hegemons) to date have been sandwiched between two military conflicts. Seems like Pax Messianica will not escape this pattern! Ezekiel 38 and 39 predict two wars of Gog and Magog, not just one.
