4 Godly ‘faith-speak’
The truth of the matter is that God has laws. The laws affect everyone such as the law of gravity. To overcome the law of gravity you have to use the law of lift and trust. The law of reciprocity, give and it shall be given to you on his measure... McDonald's used this practice. The worst hamburger but they remain in business because of their giving. Interestingly enough, McDonald's is actually in the real estate business. Location, location, location... Churches have found out this practice but the end result is having a form of godliness but there is no power. Satan loves this, a powerless people in a powerless church.
ReplyDeleteWhile people may generally comprehend physical laws, such as gravity, lift, thrust, and socio-cultural laws such as honor, mutual respect, giving, etc., it's the deeper, more critical 'spiritual laws' that we too often are ignorant of, and whose violation bind up our lives in inescapable defeat. As we well know, the clearest source to learn of such laws is in God's Word, The Bible.
DeleteTrying to tackle intractable, hidden spiritual problems by applying carnal knowledge of physical and socio-cultural laws is like trying to put out a fire ...with a wish. Just as fire fighters 'fight fires WITH fire', spiritual problems must be fought spiritually. And most problems of significance have spiritual roots. This requires a good working knowledge of those laws and how God ordains their use.
