This is the professed modus operandi by which Christ lived. Since He served
as our example in many ways, is this not also the manner in which we,
born-again Christians, are to reign NOW in this life, like ‘king and priest
interns’, learning how to perceive and walk in God’s revealed directions
for our lives? We clearly have no geographical spaces or kingdom subjects over
which we are to reign, that is apart from the personal spaces of our lives.
Within these spaces, we clearly do have subjects over which we reign. No, they are not
the people in our lives. They are… our
thoughts, words and actions! The designated scepter of our reign is God’s Word, creatively
and efficiently packaged, preserved
and positioned to influence
our world, cross-generationally. In light of this, the critical question is, in your life…
Is It Reigning…
Inside?
Why critical? Consider the possibility
that this modus operandi could very well be the same one by which we, scattered across the
post-apocalyptic world, will reign with Christ during His thousand year reign.
With Him based in Jerusalem, I wonder how else might we be able to serve
effectively as extensions of His iron rod rule over peoples in nations across
the world who will have survived the tribulation plagues.
Ummm, I wonder, for those of us who intentionally fail to practice and learn
this modus
operandi in this life, will
there be remedial courses in Heaven??
