Blood moons have come and gone; it's now all a blur.
“So what?”, you may ask; “Now what?”, you may wonder.
T’was much speculation on what they all meant.
God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament
To divide the day and night, for years and seasons.” *
Then He said, for these there was one other reason.
He said they'd especially be to us as ‘signs’.
Interesting, to this one reason we pay no mind,
Ignoring His Word, thinking we can manage,
Ignoring their role as God’s great sign language.
Jesus said look for signs in the sun, moon and stars,
Then pray and ‘watch the fig tree’, not planet Mars! **
The fig tree is the nation of Israel,
But what to watch on this long spinning newsreel?
What is the unique sign to us, from Him?
It’ His beloved city, Jerusalem!
He said it’ll be “trampled by Gentiles until
The times of the Gentiles are completely fulfilled.” ***
Since then, Gentile rule had been in prominence
Until Israel overcame all resistance, (1967)
Then decided one key area to yield --
That thrice holy’ spot up there on a great hill.
Al-Aqsa mosque is there and The Dome of the Rock.
Some call it Temple Mount. All eye it like a hawk!
You see, this tiny bit of thrice holy real estate
Is a microcosm of regional spite and hate.
It’s to this city and site nations anxiously look,
Just as predicted in The Bible, God’s Holy book.
The stage is set! To this lend eye and ear,
As the meltdown moves into higher gear!
In the U.S. we have an old expression:
“As goes California, so goes the nation.”
Now, as goes Jerusalem, so goes the Middle East,
And, as goes the Middle East, so goes ... the entire world!
That the Middle East is God's great caldron, there can be no doubt.
So watch it closely to see what life on earth is all about.
Jerusalem is to the Middle East,
As the Middle East is to the whole world.
Heads up! Stay tuned. No time to fall asleep!
Watch and take heed as our world is ... unfurled.

This information is so true. I appreciate the time and effort that you placed in the research. Many times things are placed as fact or truth without the rightly discerned value.
ReplyDeleteThe Lord instructed us as believers to use the sun and the moon to determine times and seasons as a course for His return, but a disproportionate group of unbelievers are using it to read palms and promote an anti-Christ spirit in the land. What is intended to be a way to track times and seasons are used disturbingly by the Satan himself and he has deceived the church to look at the heavens as either his timeline or something to be disvalued. Many believers are walking around ignorantly. the Word of God is the only thing that can change everything. If Lucifer can cause doubt in believers, it makes the word of God of no effect in His life.
we are supposed to use the sun and the moon as a sign for the return of Christ Genesis 1. Some were pointing to CERN in Switzerland and the timing of the Pope in America as a major mark of Christ return but Mathew 24 stated that what looks like the end is actually the beginning. Even the concert in Washington DC and Philadelphia put on by Madonna titled the desecration of the bride was viewed as proof of the return of Christ on September 23rd. Ministers ignored the word in the bible that stated " no man will know the hour or the day when the sun of man will appear." When September 23rd came and passed, believers then went back to the drawing board with their tales between their legs, weakening the church because of their rush to be the first to bring "new information" to the body of Christ.
What happen after these bits of untruths are discovered to be unfounded is that the church becomes less and less trusting and the unbeliever is further out of heavens gates. Y2K is another example. 2012 was a time table used by the Mayans and we adopted it not knowing that the Mayans used a different scale by which to judge the end of times. There is a mixture in the church today and this was cleverly placed by the devil himself.

When the church follows the word of God and not the popular word of cleverly placed obstacles, the church will gain its place in history as a people of strength and credibility.

DeletewOw!, you've covered a lot of ground. I agree with your point that predicting dates may weaken the faith of some believers, and make unbelievers even more skeptical. I also agree that predicting dates is a clear no-no, and is likely a tool of the enemy to frustrate, confuse, and stir up more strife in our already strife-ridden world.
As you may recognize, this post focuses primarily on God's use of two, carefully coordinated signs -- the heavenly bodies (Genesis 1:14) and the nation of Israel (Luke 21:29) to underscore His unfolding plan for life on earth. While we may never understand it all, endeavoring to perceive this coordinated 'sign language' is a worthy pursuit if done within the broader context of Bible prophecy, current events, and God's stated plan for all ages. This is my passion and my focused pursuit. I am pleased we seem to share this passion.
