Welcome~

Hello and Welcome~

The world is blind to these SEVEN, pivotal facts:

1. The Bible communicates Heaven’s 'multi-millennial, strategic plan for humanity'.

2. There are SEVEN ages appointed for humanity.

3. We are nearing the end of the THIRD age, a pivotal turning point in this strategy.

4. A GREAT falling away from the Christian faith is predicted during the ending days of this THIRD age, as a result of backsliding and general lukewarmness among the heretofore faithful. Look around and this you will clearly see.

5. Biblical prophecies have been and remain seeds of human history.

6. Yet-fulfilled prophecies, unfolding apace, are worthy of diligent study.

7. Now is the time to get and stay on ‘the right side of Bible prophecy’.

Reservists, in Service (Poem)

 Subtitle...By the likes of me!

For volunteer military recruits,
During basic training they get their boots.
There they learn the basics of warfare,
The ins-and-outs of enemies’ snares.

Then in one field they become specialists,
Even if they’re to serve as reservists.
On active duty reservists then serve,
Applying skills, and ‘building up their nerve’.

To civilian lives reservists return,
But annually practice all that they learned.
That is till their full service is required.
Then into full warfare they become mired.

Consider God’s similar ‘reservists plan’,
One He’s tailor made especially for man.
His army comprises all volunteers,
With active duty, then reservists years.

The new birth starts their basic training.1
Insights into Him they’ll be gaining.2
Then into active duty they’re plunged,3
Until from this life they are expunged.

Then to ‘reservist status’ they’re assigned,
Body in graves, spirit with Christ aligned.
That is till their full service is required.
Then their glorified body is acquired.4

These reservists, then on active duty,
Will rule people who’ve been acting badly.
For a thousand years, Jesus will be in charge!
Pluralistic democracy …then discharged!

For a thousand years, His government shall be,
One all encompassing, worldwide monarchy.
One of His surrogate kings, I shall surely be.
So imagine being ruled ...by the likes of me! 5

Hey my Friend, the picture I paint need not be --
You or your descendants, being ruled …by me!
At this thought, there is absolutely no need to be aghast!
Accept my invitation to join …Christ’s future ruling class.6
----------
1 Jesus said, ‘You must be born again.’ (John 3:7)
2 He also said, ‘Abide in Me, and I in you…’ (John 15:4)
3 Finally, He said, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’ (Mark 15:16)
4 ‘We [born again Christ-believers] shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead [born again Christ-believers] will be raised incorruptible [immortal], and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51-51)
5 You our your unsaved descendants who will have survived the promised tribulation period.
6 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:15-16) I simply am one of the kings over whom He shall be King. You can be, too!

  1. Your poem is deep. I like your passion. I still say that you should become a pastor and preach. Peace be with you.

    1. Hello, and thanks for your comment and for stopping by to read this post.

This blog and my music are ministry works The Lord has given to me. I am blessed in this work, and also by the readership. The posts exposit The Word as I understand it, based on prayer, meditation, reflection and study. Most people familiar with The Bible will recognize many topics addressed may typically be missed, soft-peddled or ignored in Christian circles. This reflects my desire to think out of the box, and to perceive what's going on 'in front of' (not behind) the scenes we physically see.

I will leave the preaching oratory to others who are so gifted and called~ :o)

  2. Bless you John!!!

I enjoyed this! Yes, we are all soldiers in God's army!

I also admire your response to the above comment. I am always told that I should be preaching. I respond: "I do, every day, at any chance I get!" I don't need a church. If I did, how will I reach the unchurched?

    1. ...and bless you back, my Friend. Thank you~
I love your reply to the question at hand. Whether one is called to pastor a congregation or to be a preaching evangelist is mostly a matter of God's call and anointing upon a life. Everything else is subordinate. 😇
