Welcome~
Hello and Welcome~
The world is blind to these SEVEN, pivotal facts:
1. The Bible communicates Heaven’s 'multi-millennial, strategic plan for humanity'.
2. There are SEVEN ages appointed for humanity.
3. We are nearing the end of the THIRD age, a pivotal turning point in this strategy.
4. A GREAT falling away from the Christian faith is predicted during the ending days of this THIRD age, as a result of backsliding and general lukewarmness among the heretofore faithful. Look around and this you will clearly see.
5. Biblical prophecies have been and remain seeds of human history.
6. Yet-fulfilled prophecies, unfolding apace, are worthy of diligent study.
7. Now is the time to get and stay on ‘the right side of Bible prophecy’.

Holymon, Pokémon (poem)
God’s heart is warmed, and our lives are transformed.
Delightful and inspiring insights--thank you, J! And thanks for enlightening me about Pokemon Go as I had heard of it but didn't know why people were concerned about the safety of the players on the streets :).
ReplyDeleteI have long believed there are no coincidences in life. For example, yesterday at church I met two young men, graduate students at the U of AZ, who are from DRCongo. I told them I had done some short-term language teaching consulting for the Peace Corps in Bukavu in 1985. Their faces lit up and they told me they are from Bukavu!
They told me their dream is to teach their people self-reliance, to not wait for outsiders to come to help them, but to help themselves. I was thrilled to hear that because as we agreed in our subsequent discussion, that is the only way for true sustainability--and of course, to ask for God's guidance and help, which is why we were at church.
I told them about the work of CHOICE Humanitarian, the NGO that I work with, and that the whole basis for what we do is to help individuals, families, communities and beyond become self-reliant.
I don't believe it's a coincidence that the Lord has caused our paths to cross. It is exciting and inspiring to see their love and dedication to their people (when they could forget them and seek their own success in the U.S.). They have already written me about their plans and I look forward to further contact with them.
A long comment, but I believe it illustrates your point! We need to put our selves in a spiritual frame of mind by studying the scriptures and then to act on the ideas to do good that the Spirit gently whispers in our mind and heart.
Sounds like a great good works opportunity, indeed!
DeleteThanks for sharing and for reading.
I really enjoyed this post!
