Welcome~
Hello and Welcome~
The world is blind to these SEVEN, pivotal facts:
1. The Bible communicates Heaven’s 'multi-millennial, strategic plan for humanity'.
2. There are SEVEN ages appointed for humanity.
3. We are nearing the end of the THIRD age, a pivotal turning point in this strategy.
4. A GREAT falling away from the Christian faith is predicted during the ending days of this THIRD age, as a result of backsliding and general lukewarmness among the heretofore faithful. Look around and this you will clearly see.
5. Biblical prophecies have been and remain seeds of human history.
6. Yet-fulfilled prophecies, unfolding apace, are worthy of diligent study.
7. Now is the time to get and stay on ‘the right side of Bible prophecy’.

ReplyDeleteImportant points! Hence, Jesus taught his followers to be "in the world, but not of the world".
If we are blessed to be able to meet our basic needs, then I believe the Lord would have us find a way to help others lift themselves out of poverty.
It will be a glorious day when Our Savior returns to earth again to reign for a thousand years. Like you, we're trying to prepare ourselves and help others prepare both spiritually and temporally to receive Him. Fundamental to that effort is the restoration of His church and priesthood authority to the earth (Acts 3:19-21).
Best wishes,
Mary Lee
I am indeed looking forward to the millennial reign of Christ, and have addressed it in several posts. Moreover, the best part to come will be 'post millennial'. Sorry, but I cannot agree on the need to 'restore' either Christ's church or His priestly authority. He said The gates of hades would not prevail against His Church, and He did not anticipate or address the need for its 'restoration.' Rather, in John 17, He iteratively highlighted the need for 'unity', knowing how extensively we would sub-divide ourselves, much like man has sub-divided into several countries, the land mass God promised to Israel. (See the post, 'Our Land-Minded God') To my Biblical understanding, Christ never established, nor intended a priesthood within His Church. He is our High Priest, and all born again people are referred to as kings and priests.
